A business at the expense of gullible gamers.
On paper, they try to be a friendly video game community while offering giveaways. In reality, it's just another business cooked up with the intent of using an existing community to bring the money in. As a gaming community, it offers nothing new that others don't already. If you want to join a gaming community to celebrate gaming, you're already part of one wherever you discuss gaming, be it in person or online. At GT, negativity towards the site is basically not allowed and laughed at by it's "president" Angel Munoz, who mocks any naysayers with passive aggressive statuses and comments.
Much like any money making sham site offering free stuff, at GT, you are offered the tiny chance of winning games and computer builds, by being told to follow dozens of various Twitter, Facebook and YouTube celebrity accounts. In other words, you're being bribed into thinking you're going to win, by proclaiming that you're a fan of these businesses, upping their numbers falsely. By doing this, you're giving these businesses and YouTube celebrities free publicity through GT and their phoniness. It's simply not genuine favour.
In short, don't give these people free publicity and easy money. You don't need them.
