The team tries to recall your name and preferences and are very helpful and friendly. The drinks and bakery side provide a wide choice mostly made in-house. Recommend it.

Disappointed
I heard Gail's bakery in Radlett sold gluten free bread, which is difficult to find in this area. They had a small loaf about the size of two burger buns, at £4 something. I decided to push the boat out and buy one. It tasted like blotting paper.
I was hungry and thirsty and they had a very nice looking range of snacks, but unfortunately they all had eggs in them, which I do not eat as eggs are liquid flesh.
The young lady at the counter was pleasant and helpful until I asked her to stop calling me darling and said I didn't like it. She seemed annoyed at my boundary marking and continued to call me darling. I won't go there again.

We go to Gail’s everyday
We go to Gail’s everyday. First the good news. Your manageress Mona is superb, hardworking and attends to all customers needs, always friendly and helpful.
Now to my complaints.
All the cakes and food are uncovered all day. Numerous times there are flies on the food. This is grossly unhygienic and could cause food poisoning. Also customer are queuing alongside the open food.
You bake and sell scones, raisin and plain.
We prefer the raisin ones. They get sold very quickly and normally when we visit they are gone. BUT the plains ones are generally unsold. Surely if the raisins ones are popular it would make good business sense to bake all of them with raisins. From a business point of view the Directors should take note, that when the shop opened there were queues. Now it’s mostly empty apart from a few times in the day.

Tables are always dirty, regardless of the branch.
At Gails prices The table should be cleaned.

Summer sandwiches absolutely della
I am one off the regular customers at Gail's Radlett and today I had the chance to taste the summer sandwiches (pastrami and ham& swiss cheese ciabatta) made by the very friendly head baker Eva.
Absolutely delicious, can't recommend it enough. Very impressed about the presentation, and so pleased of the allergens mentioned .
Been coming since it opened
Been coming since it opened, at first was disappointed by the staff but spoke with area manager who was visiting that day and the place has changed. Its clean, welcoming and the Manager, despite clear staff issues, has a smile on her face. Well done!
