I purchased shoes from Gabriel Vancouver online in September 2025. The website claimed they were moving warehouses and offering discounted prices, along with a 30-day money-back guarantee, which made the purchase seem low risk.

Unfortunately, the shoes I received did not match the photos on the website, which appears to be consistent with other customer reviews. When I requested a return, I was encouraged to keep the item in exchange for a partial refund, with the explanation that return shipping (paid by the customer) would be expensive and not worth it.

I chose to proceed with a return and refund. I was then told that refunds can take time due to bank processing. After waiting over three months, I still did not receive my refund. Communication focused on repeated delays rather than resolution.

Based on my experience, I strongly recommend that customers do not wait if there is an issue and immediately contact their credit card company to dispute the charge, as delays may prevent you from recovering your money.

I stupidly ordered some shoes from them. Their site said free returns. The shoes were not even close to being true to size. Cost me a bundle to return them. Now my shoes have been stuck in Chinese customs for 2 months, and snd they keep telling ME to call Canadian customs to have it released. Not only are the scammers but they are stupid!!

Gabriel Vancouver is a total scam! I ordered 3 dog lamps and realized within hours that it was a scam. Emailed the company to cancel my order and they replied to me( always with an English sounding name like Rose, April ) to say that as per there cancellation policy I had to cancel within one hour of my order. What a joke. My order had already been processed and could not be stopped. It didn’t ship for over two days. I could wait for it to arrive and I could return it if I was not totally satisfied. That is the scam, they have your money, they ship you a garbage product nothing like what you ordered and when then send you the return policy so you can try and get your money back. You have to send the product back to China with a tracker so you know it got there. It will cost you more than you paid in most circumstances. So then they offer you 20% back if you say no then they offer you 30% back, because they know that for you to ship it back it’s gonna cost you more money and you have no guarantee that they’re gonna give you anything back so that’s why they make you these offers. When you accept they tell you it’s gonna take 8 to 10 days for your refund and then after that goes by, they tell you it’s gonna take another 3 to 5 days for your refund. I did call Visa my form of payment and told them about this right away, but they said they couldn’t do anything about it until the product arrived or didn’t arrive. It did arrive. It looked like garbage and of course you have to try and deal with a merchant so I did that. After they didn’t give me a refund within the time that they said they would then I called Visa back and I had to file a dispute with all my emails and documentation and I did get a full refund through Visa. Not before getting an email from them saying that I had opened a dispute and if I wanted a refund from them I would have to cancel my dispute. These people are the lowest of the low, do not buy anything from these people. Be very cautious of other sites that looks very similar to these like Linda Vancouver, and other sites that are selling these same dog lamps I think they’re all connected by the literature that’s on the sites. Can’t prove that, but I’d be very cautious.

This is a scam company selling absolute garbage if I could give a lower rating I absolutely would!
Do not buy anything from this company!
The pair of gloves I bought lasted all but a few days of use.
The stitching came apart almost instantly and the gloves are falling apart due to the low quality material.

Scam company. Not from Vancouver, not stained glass. Got a cheap plastic lamp with bad paint that looks nothing like their advertisement.

Exactly what Maria just reported yesterday, I wish I could also rate zero. I had checked the website before purchasing and it looked fine, wish I had also checked reviews before shopping with Garbiel Vancouver. The stained glass cat and turtle lamp was a plastic light, colours blurred, plug was hot glued in place as well. Customer service offered me 20% then 30% back to keep these items that I would not have paid 5$ for at a Dollar store. All I wanted was to ship back to Burnaby BC but no, that is when they tell you that their returns wearhouse is in China and it is very expensive to return, their exact words. They to not advise of this on their return policy. I refuse to be scammed and have launched a dispute with my credit card company and I suggest you all do too if you are in the same boat. They pull this off with the hopes that the customer just accept that they have been scammed and take no further action! I should be seeing my money back real soon.

The item I ordered was a lovely stained glass light in a dog shape. What I got was a plastic light, colours blurred, plug was hot glued in place. Customer service offered me a fraction of a % back or pay for shipping to China. I live in Vancouver & thought I was buying from a Vancouver company. Whole experience was a disappointment and complete waste of time!

I ordered two items. One didn't look anything like the picture and the other didn't work ( a whisper bird light). Quality is garbage and customer service sucks. Will never shop there again. Total Scam!!!

This website is a scam. I was offered a partial refund too, like others on this review site. Shipping would’ve costed me more than the order itself because the return address was to China, not within Canada as the website suggested. And a tracking number is required. That is the scam, to make the return shipment completely not worth it. I got nowhere trying to get 100% refund from the website. So, I initiated a chargeback request from my credit card company. Others who want to get their money back should read up on what a chargeback is. The company that owns the scam website has to pay fees, even if the request ends up not in your favour. The company pleaded with me to withdraw the chargeback, offering me 50%, 75%, even 85% refund. I was ready to lose 100% of what I paid on their website to have the banks review my request/complaint. The chargeback took one month to complete, but I got 100% of my money back because of it. I encourage others to do what I did. Hopefully, if enough people do it, the scam website will eventually shut down.

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS PLACE...What you order will not be what you receive...everything comes from china...pictures are website are fake...order glass dachshund lamp...plastic dog (not a dachshund) lamp was received...to return you have to pay for it...such a joke...stay away from this seller.

Like all the other people I saw an add on Facebook and ordered a dog lamp for 65$ beliving it was a canadian web site based in Vancouver. I received a piece of junk that is far from the picture. I sent pictures of the thing and asked to return it due to false advertizing but the cost to return the item to china is 78$. They offered me to keep it and gave me a 30% refund on my purchase. I had no chouce but to accept. But still I lost 45$ and it seems I am not the only one here. I am furious that I was so naïve about chinese business and products. It cost me 45$ to learn, but I'm done with made in china piece of junk.

Scam/Fraud! Ordered a lamp that popped up on my instagram feed. Looked really cute. Ordered it because it was part of the "last day anniversary sale" which 2 weeks later is still on?? Looks NOTHING like the image. Honstly I thought it was some kind of joke it was so bad lol. A three year old could have made something better. Absolute rubbish. Wish I read the reviews before purchasing from this sham website! Caveat Emptor!

I ordered what I thought was a stained glass cat lamp for $64.95 (and they claimed that was 50% off) but what I received was a cheap piece of plastic junk that doesn’t look anything like what’s advertised.

When I emailed them asking for a refund, their response, which was quite obviously AI generated, was to offer me 20% off. Further, as they are based in China, the cost to return the item was more than what was paid.

This is a scam and a complete waste of money so please don’t order from this company.

The product they sent looked like a cheap copy compared to the photos online. Color was all off and not nearly as vibrant and overall quality was far less impressive. I ordered what looked like a stain glass Mira cat lamp and got what looked like something you would find on the clearance table at a dollar store. Bad form Gabriel Vancouver. This will be my first and only business experience with them. Too bad the picture looked so good, what a let down.

Ordered a woman’s Light Brown fitted Jacket/Blazer (which is no longer on their website). I received an orange colored short ugly housecoat. Also ordered a lamp that looks nothing like the picture and is plastic junk. BUYER BEWARE. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY.

Do not buy from this company. I ordered a stained glass owl supposedly worth $116. Can. They shipped me an owl all right but it was made of plaster of Paris. I went to their site and they were selling it for around $6. They would not credit my card but wanted me to ship it back to China at my expense. Do not buy from this scam company!!

I was very disappointed in the quality of the items that I received. Took over 3 weeks to come, and it is a bunch of junk from China. I thought the company was from Vancouver and I was supporting a local business. Business. I'm very disappointed and I sure wish I would have looked at these reviews prior to ordering anything. Don't order!!!
