Absolute joke of a company

Absolute joke of a company. I ordered a dining set at the beginning of July. Dates of delivery keep on changing with different excuses as to why. Nobody answers the phone, waiting a week in-between email responses. Do not use these clowns they are literally laughing at their "valued customers" I have now been blocked from their Facebook page for asking for a refund.

Update I have been refunded by klarna and ordered my furniture from JMD furnishings. I payed cash on delivery and was delivered the next day. Excellent company.

Would give 0 stars if there was the option!

Ordered multiple large items amounting to over £1600 in June. Had to email in order to be given a date for delivery, which was 17th May. Replied to say this wasn’t good enough as it exceeded the 4-6 week time frame mentioned on the website, was then told 11th Sep. Waited in all day and no delivery.
The communication from this company is near non-existant! Can’t get through on the live chat on the website - redirected to email every time. The phone line just doesn’t work at all!
Unqcceptable to make no contact! Least the company could have done was give a quick call or email to say items weren’t going to be delivered.
Still waiting on a reply.. not that I’ll be expecting one, or my items any time soon! fear trying for a refund will be even harder!!!
Would not recommend using this company! Unless you don’t mind being messed around and waiting months for a delivery that will never turn up!

I’ve never had such a dreadful…

I’ve never had such a dreadful experience with a company before. I ordered a dining table set from Furvell at the end of May and didn’t receive the full order until the end of August – three long months of waiting! The communication was almost non-existent. Every time I reached out for an update, I got vague promises that the product would be delivered "soon," which never happened.

When the delivery finally arrived, to my shock, they only brought two chairs instead of the full set with the table! I then had to wait another month for the remaining chairs, and when they finally arrived, the quality was horrendous. The chairs feel unstable and unsafe to use. To top it off, I was promised a partial refund for the absurd delay, but the company has vanished – no follow-up, no refund, nothing.

What’s worse is that two of the chairs arrived faulty, and instead of replacing or fixing them, the company only offered to collect them, leaving me with even fewer seats. It's absolutely absurd. They have zero interest in resolving customer issues.

And as if the experience couldn’t get any worse, I ordered champagne-colored chairs but received light grey instead. I tried contacting them about this mistake, but of course, I was met with silence.

This company does not care about its customers or the quality of their products. Do yourself a favor and avoid Furvell at all costs!

everybody on here needs to report the company to trading standards i have today dining table 8 weeks promised delivery today didn't turn up cant get hold of anyone trading standards have told me they need more people to file a complaint so the case is bigger

Scam!! Do not order

Ordered at the start of July... It's now September 9th. No furniture has arrived ? No one replies ? When they did reply (in August)
They said there was a break in or something at the ware house ..it's been 2 months!

Update ..11 sept . No response ?
Phone line is dead , now have to contact my bank as this is clearly a fraudulent company!

Update again 13/9 .. won't be delivered for the next 6-8 weeks .. summer is over !, I advice everyone to not order and get refunds !

If I could give a zero star rating, I would.

Marble dining table and set of chairs ordered on 19th July. Initial wait was said to be 3-4 weeks for a 2 man delivery service and installation. Once a couple of weeks had passed, I enquired about a delivery date. I was told that delivery is 4 weeks from order date and they would be in contact.

After that date, I enquired and was told that a certain logistics company had their warehouse broken into and they were now arranging a delivery with a different logistics company.
Having some knowledge of the local couriers and checking companies house, the courier they mentioned actually dissolved their company a long time ago.

When I challenged these claims, there was no direct response to them. Instead they offered a deivery date of 3rd September and stated that they would refund the £99 delivery fee as an apology.
I reluctantly accepted and then emailed again asking them to confirm the delivery date. Multiple times. Radio silence.

Impossible to get a hold of via phone. Emails remain unanswered.
I have started a dispute with PayPal. PayPal has closed the case in my favour but still waiting for the money to be deposited back into my account.

In summary, this company is a waste of time / scam / most likely to declare bankruptcy imminently. I'd try to get your money back ASAP.

Completely horrendous service

Completely horrendous service. I have never been so appalled at a company's service. Bought a furniture set on behalf of my mother in law, arrival time should have been 4 weeks. Initial date given was beyond that. Next an alleged burglary, so was rescheduled. Next an issue with their logistics, some kind of technical issue, so delayed again. The furniture was due today. The last email I sent had no response. We were advised on the day we would hear off logistics. Nothing. Surprise surprise can't reach them by phone or chat and emails apparently 72 hour wait.

I can see they are providing the same response about the break in to all customers on here, but there have been issues prior to that and then issues with the delivery past planning beyond that?

Honestly I intend to escalate this because it is actually theft.

2 months of waiting & even more excuses by the company

I thought I'd secured a really good deal with the products I ordered on 10th July, but 2 months later and there's no sign of them. Terrible communication by the company, various delivery dates provided and excuse after excuse about the delays. After booking a day off work to accept delivery of the products and them not arriving, I've finally given up and cancelled the order

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I had missing parts on my delivery of furniture, one of which was the knob to control the gas to the firepit table which means it is unusable. They never answer chats, the phone line is dead. I have been in email conversation with the company since 8th June when I let them know about the missing parts and I still have not received them just a lot of excuses when they can be bothered to reply. Please go somewhere else I just wished I had read the terrible reviews on here before I ordered.

Ordered firepit set in May, after many many emails still no set delivered. In August they said they would refund but never did, I got my money back today through PayPal resolution centre

I placed an order which turned out to…

I placed an order which turned out to be an incorrect colour.

It got delivered after 8 weeks.

I returned it on the day of delivery. Which was on 3rd August. I was then told I’ll receive the money within 7-10 days.

It’s not the 30th August and I’m still waiting for a refund.

Appallingly poor company

Tried to purchase a product - have paid but haven't received. It's been a month without reply, so far. Customer service is appallingly bad - phone number isn't manned, emails gone unanswered and not followed up.

Thankfully I didn't make a large purchase, because this is basically theft at this point.

I wouldn't believe any of the positive reviews on here if I were you - given the experience I've had, and how there's only 1 and 5 star reviews, I suspect fake reviews on the company's part.

Edit: since receiving the message below, nothing has changed: no-one has been in touch. It's just fluff.

I bought two dining chairs from this…

I bought two dining chairs from this company and after five weeks of waiting I didn’t receive them so I contacted the company via email to ask them where my chairs was. I received nothing at all back. I had to send 10 emails before I got one email back giving me excuse after excuse I told them that I would like a refund or I would like the chairs. They told me that they would give me a refund but they still haven’t paid it into my bank. It is now nine weeks down the line and I still haven’t received my money, I am a disabled woman with a child and just wanted two dining chairs just so we can sit at the table and eat. I’m on benefits Disabled so I saved up for these chairs as you can imagine .
But they have absolutely no remorse whatsoever they are still yet to give me my money back and are still giving me excuses such as systems are down blah blah blah They are 100% scammers and if you are like me and you really need something for the Home, but you don’t have a lot of money do not go to this company because they will rob you and you will be left with nothing
I can’t even contact my bank as I am housebound and cannot get to a post office to post the forms at the bank would like me to send back. I have also explained this to Furvell And clearly, they do not care they say that they are family run business but scamming people does not seem very family orientated to me . they know that I cannot get my money back through the bank due to being disabled and housebound and not able to leave my home and they have took advantage of this because they know they don’t have to give me the money back now and they know that I can’t claim it back so they have chosen to knock me
That is taking advantage of vulnerable people

I ordered a Denver table back in July…

I ordered a Denver table back in July 2024. when the delivery drivers came they arrived with the wrong table Arianna. I immediately realised and then told them to take it back. Then Furvell told me the correct table would on Friday 23rd August. I waited all day and no one came with my order.

furvell have made me wait now over 2 months for a table I ordered back in June and still haven't resolved my issue. I have lost my faith in them. will not be ordering from them ever again!

I didn’t even want to award them one…

I didn’t even want to award them one star!! I placed an order on 3rd June for 10 dining room chairs. Delivery within 4 weeks. Promised beginning July, then first week in August and then again some time in August. I received the email that many others seem to have saying there was a problem with their distributors. Then I get a phone call suggesting I take an entirely different chair as they did not have my order in stock. I am now waiting for my refund but that seems unlikely as they are completely blanking me. Terrible experience, I would not recommend them to anyone.

Disgraceful customer service

Bought a rattan garden set with a firepit several months ago and Im still waiting to get the broken firepit fixed. This has been going on for months and the contant emails and chasing is proof of their disgraceful customer service. I wouldn't recommend buying from them. Curently speaking to trading standards and the advertising standards assoc. Buyer be very aware.

I appreciate the response from the company to my Review, however, the issues isn't about overseas shippment but rather: lack of communication, not addressing the issues, not getting the parts that are available in the UK and not honouring the £100 refund we were promised months ago!! Numerous telephone calls and emails to 'customer service' to address these issues has resulted in no action or no response. Please, no excuse just act!!

Do not use them- completely ignoring any form of contact- frauds

Based off of my experience so far if I could give a 0 star review then I would. I placed a large furniture order on June 22nd worth nearly £1000 for my new home. On June 25th I was told my order had been dispatched and would be with me within 2-4 weeks. It has now been nearly 2 months and I have not heard anything from them regarding any form of update or a new expected delivery date. I have tried to call the customer service line multiple times and never once had my call answered or returned. I’ve tried the online and help chat multiple times as well but again my messages get ignored and I get told to leave an enquiry to which again I get no reply. I have emailed nearly 10 times now and had one reply which told me I would be updated as it says my delivery has been completed on their system. I told them it definitely hasn’t been and a week later I’ve still heard no update. Severely regret using this awful company and have no idea how I can even go about being refunded when all they do is ignore any attempts of contact from myself. If I have another week like this I will have no choice but to take legal action against the company as the way they have conducted themselves in this instance is simply fraudulent.
