AVOID AT ALL COSTS

AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Based on my experience, I would strongly advise any small business owner to think very carefully before entering into any agreement with this company.

I was contacted repeatedly regarding advertising my business as part of a local school fundraising project. Initially, I declined as I had only recently opened my business and did not have the budget available for additional marketing. However, I continued to receive calls and felt under significant pressure to sign up.

As a newly established business owner, I trusted that this would be a worthwhile local initiative and eventually agreed. Unfortunately, my experience from that point onwards has been extremely disappointing.

When my circumstances changed and I explained that I could not afford the advertising commitment, I found very little understanding or flexibility. Rather than discussing a reasonable solution, I was repeatedly reminded of the contract and the money owed. As a small business owner trying to establish a new practice, this was incredibly stressful.

The tone of communication left me feeling that my financial concerns were being ignored. Instead of supporting local businesses, I felt as though I was simply being treated as another source of revenue.

What concerned me further was discovering other reviews from business owners describing similar experiences, including complaints regarding persistent sales tactics, long-term contractual commitments, poor communication, and difficulties when attempting to raise concerns.

In my opinion, this company appears to target small businesses that are trying to support local community projects and then holds them to costly agreements regardless of their circumstances. Whether or not the advertising ultimately provides value, the lack of flexibility and understanding shown towards small businesses is deeply disappointing.

I no longer wish to be associated with the project and regret becoming involved in the first place.

If you are approached by this company, read every single clause of the contract carefully, seek independent advice if necessary, and do not allow yourself to be rushed into making a decision.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

STAY AWAY FROM THEM

I was contacted by a company called “Funding Solution for Education” regarding advertising my business in a private school’s welcome package. Initially, I was not interested, but they called me repeatedly, almost every day, and eventually persuaded me to sign a contract.

After agreeing to the advertisement, I received a copy of the leaflet. Although I was not particularly happy with how it looked, I decided to give it a chance.

I was then invoiced £400 for the advertisement. Unfortunately, throughout the entire year, we did not receive a single enquiry or customer as a result of the advertising.

The following year, due to legal reasons, we changed our business name. To my surprise, I then received another invoice from the company. When I contacted them to ask why, they informed me that I had signed a two-year contract.

I was shocked to discover that the contract did indeed contain a two-year commitment, something I had not fully appreciated at the time of signing. I explained that we had changed our business name and that the advertising had generated no enquiries during the first year, but they refused to cancel the agreement.

While I was out of the country, they proceeded with legal action against my business for the outstanding £400. As a result, I ended up having to pay approximately £1,600 in court and bailiff fees.

Based on my experience, I would advise business owners to read any agreement very carefully before signing and to think carefully before committing to advertising services that involve long-term contracts.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. They will take your money with no end product.

I was contacted to "advertise" my business via this company that would be avaliable to a local school.
This was December/Jan 26. They contacted me to the point of harassment to pay over £400+ for this service and wouldn't go any further until I set up a direct debit.
This was done in Jan 26. I have been paying monthly for this "advertisement"
With no confirmation it has been circulated.
No confirmation how many people this will be circulated too.
No copy sent to me.
After setting up my direct debit I had silence but they started taking money from me.
I queried this with no response. I asked for complaints process in Feb 26 with no response 3 times.
I have now tried to find the Complaints procedure to find nothing avaliable online. Hmm.
I emailed the only contact details avaliable. I requested the complaints procedure in April 26 and still no response to this.
Only response i have had was an apology that the leafelt/advertisement still hasnt been published yet, but they thought it had been. But they are taking money for it!
I asked again for complaints process to no reply.
AVOID THESE AT ALL COSTS!!
I am taking this further.
