This website is a joke!!!

This website is a joke! Horrible selection of movies, games, anything and everyone on this site is total trash! Thank God I did not check the recurring subscription box. Because for 49.95 a month! This is totally not worth it. Spend your money else where people. Seriously there are way better choices then this garbage for easy less money.

FRUUST.COM is a scam company

This is a scam company. It somehow hijacked the USSSA Softball Android app. Looked like it was part of the 'establish a logon' process to do a $0.00 'verification' which turned into a recurring monthly charge of $49.95.
The first charge was removed when my card's anti-fraud department contacted me, but they put the charge through again 5 days later.

They charged me $50 for a month…

They charged me $50 for a month subscription. I was on a totally different website looking to purchase a $1 week trial for a personality test when the website becomes redirected to this streaming tv website called Fruust who actually took my card information and I was charged the $1 and $50. Totally upset and wish I found this website earlier lol.

Fruust is Total scam

Total scam. Had a deceptive ad on a completely different website where I WAS trying to get a subscription and so I clicked the link and filled out all the info to get the subscription. As soon I was done, I realized it was not the same website at all. Boy did I feel like a proper idiot for falling for the bait-and-switch. I immediately called the number provided, 1 (833) 611-0420, which is the only way you can cancel your subscription. The automated voice providing the prompts is intentionally garbled making it difficult to hear what number to press to get to an agent. Took me a few tries, but pressing 44# finally got me to a woman named Sophie. First Sophie straight out asked me for my full credit card number and billing zip code. I told her absolutely not; this screams scam and I’m only in this situation due to a deceptive advertisement. Sophie then pretended for 8 minutes to not be able to find my account and kept putting me on hold. Finally, when she came back to put me on hold again I interrupted her and told her that this is a scam and that I’m an attorney with connections at the DOJ and she needed to immediately refund any and all charges, cancel my subscription, and delete my account in its entirety. After that, the cancellation was pretty quick, but I will absolutely be monitoring my credit card for any additional charges by this company.

Jumped Ship immediately

So I was looking for a book that I was supposed to read for an assignment. The website said that I had to make an account to get the book. It redirected me to fruust.com. I then decided to give them my card info, and then created the account. There was supposed to be the 5-day free trial, then it would be about $50 per month. They charged me $1 for the free trial, but they didn't give me the book I wanted. I realized that based on the reviews, it was a scam. So I decided to jump ship immediately and cancel the subscription by contacting the customer service chat. Many others have had bad luck cancelling the service, but somehow, they cancelled mine. I was planning on waiting to get an unauthorized charge after the 5-day free trial, so that I could dispute it, and block charges from there. But good news: no charges got into my account, and the $1 charge was removed. But if they do charge me, I'll know what to do...

Malicious site

Thes malicious site superimposed itself onto a Beretta site I was accessing, making itself look like part of the Beretta site. Stupid me gave the credit card info but did not create account. I am unsure if they are going to try to bull me for anything. If so they're barking up the wrong tree. Uninstalled app and will report them to FTC, BBB, CFPB, and any other gvmt bodies that apply. May consider legal action.

Lutima.net is really just Fruust.com

Go to my banking app only to be told there are suspicious charges from Lutima.net a website I have never been to or heard of. So I contacted there live support it seems that The gig is up for Fruust.com and so now they are creating more fake sites that are connected to fruust you agree to lutima.net and you get scammed by fruust. The only problem is I was never on there website and don't have a clue how the charges got there. Please watch out for lutima.net they are a division of fruust. I believe there is a special place in hell for these people.

Fruust is a sneaky and deceptive company. Avoid them at all cost.

First of all, they do not deserve a half star let alone a full star.

I was on the AARP website trying to take care of my renewal. I was offered a discount if I provided my credit card in advance. As I completed the information on one page, it advanced to another screen where it asked for my credit card info. I hadn’t even noticed I was no longer on a AARP any longer. When I completed the transaction was when I noticed the name Fruust on the top of the screen. As I read on it stated I would be charged $1.95 but I had a free 5 day trail. I figured I could live with losing $1.95 and I went straight to their page to cancel the subscription.

You cannot find their cancellation link anywhere. It is so well hidden that you are forced to contact them by phone or email them. I tried both. I sent my first email requesting to cancel and minutes later another charge for $49.95 appeared on my bank account.

Less than an hour into my “free trail” I was charged $51.90.

At that point I called my bank, disputed the charges and cancelled that credit card.

I am contacting the BBB, FTC, and IEC about this company. After a quick Google search I learned that many, many people have been scammed by this company. Enough is enough!
