Excellent proxy service as long as the item is as described. Once you run into problems or receive a damaged item, say goodbye to your money.
I, for one, ordered two rather expensive Bearbrick figures (both in brand new condition) which arrived damaged and scratched.
I was told to open a case with DHL Express which is useless. The items were well packaged and arrived super safely, so DHL is not to blame. I expected FromJapan to simply reach out to the sellers to resolve these issues but I received no help at all.
Terrible experience and I‘ll definitely look for alternatives. I‘ve ordered hundreds of items via FromJapan and never expected to be treated like this. Somehow I doubt that their customer service is Japanese because the people I dealt with are rather disrespectful and unfriendly.

I would strongly suggest everyone to NOT order expensive products via this proxy. It’s too risky and they are trying as hard as they can to not resolve quality issues.

Absolute 5-star experience! I cannot praise Jess and the warehouse team enough for their extraordinary support. Been a long time customer of the site, but recently (since 3-4 days ago) the site frequently got 'gateway error' and 'server error' quite a lot during a crucial time of Auction make me lost the bidding

The answer from customer service is to use other browser insead... (they all happen the same in Firefox, Chrome and Safari)

Re respond fast and are transparent. I never had any problems with using their proxy service. My only gripe is that I wish I could pay for extended storage.

Very useful portal for buying stuff from Japan. Customer service is friendly, responsive, helpful and items are well packed for shipping. They take due diligence to check the conditions of items received and highlight when the received items are damaged or in bad conditions for me to decide to proceed or not.

Have using FJ service for a long time, at least 10 years ago. Their buying assistance service was incredible was able to purchase item from personal in Japan when other proxy services are unable to do it. Please keep up a good service FJ thanks

I have been using the services of FromJapan for a few years now since I found out about it in 2023 and haven’t experienced any problems.

But there was a minor technical issue 4 months ago for one specific order where I couldn’t instruct international shipping as usual.

Therefore I have contacted the customer service and they have helped me accordingly.

The customer representative answered my inquiry emails properly and patiently.

It took about 3 months to be fixed, but after that I could arrange international shipping for that order.

While it is being fixed, they have kept all my items in that order that is well past 60-days storage period, without disposing them and without any extra charge for storage, which I’m very thankful for!

FromJapan customer service is very helpful and friendly.

I would like to recommend FromJapan to anyone who would like to shop goodies from Japan.

I hope FromJapan and their customer service could also do more for their customers in the future.

I ordered a secondhand 1990s Sanyo Radio CD player rom Rakuten Japan via FROM JAPAN. I'm impressed by how smooth the process went and how well it was packaged. Double boxed. Ample of air cushioned protection and thick bubble wrap on all sides. Product well-secured in the box so it could not bounce around. It arrived in pristine state. Great job!

I have always been using One Map by FROM JAPAN over other proxy services due to their good user interface and reasonable fees. However, what really solidify my trust in them is due to their exemplary assistance to resolve the issue where I received a counterfeit item from a Mercari seller. I understand that many proxy services do not cover refund for counterfeit items, and I was ready to accept the loss since it is not covered under One Map's Protection Plan. To my surprise, One Map went above and beyond to help to pursue the case with Mercari and seek for a refund (and I do not even need to ship the counterfeit item back to the seller).
This positive experience really made One Map a much trustworthy proxy service compared to others in the market.
