Bought a used S60 from a trusted used car dealership who agreed to pay for the sat nav updates etc. Dropped the car off at frf Swansea and after a few days was told they had basically fried my system but were working on it. A week later it's all sorted so "Ross car sales paid them in good faith" with the latest updates but this was not the case as the car is exactly the same with screws on the floor ECU port cover missing. Couldn't find my address or addresses or places in Birmingham. This isn't going to go away as Ombudsman and Volvo CEO will be contacted

I recently purchased a car from this dealership and had a mixed experience.

5 stars go to David Bowkett, who was incredibly helpful from start to finish. He was quick to respond to any questions, kept me updated throughout the process, and when I met him in person, he came across as a genuine, down-to-earth guy — not someone just trying to make a sale.

Unfortunately, 1 star goes to Jenna Sloman. Her attitude nearly put me off completing the purchase altogether. I was made to feel uncomfortable and even a bit foolish for not wanting to take the Volvo finance or additional insurance products. There were also inconsistencies — David had told me the deposit was £500, but when Jenna called to take payment, I was told it was £1,000.

When I came to collect the car, things didn’t improve. After declining the add-on insurances, Jenna abruptly ended the conversation, shook my hand, and walked away. It felt very unprofessional and left a poor impression.

If it hadn’t been for David’s professionalism and genuine approach, I likely would have gone elsewhere.

Ordered a brand new EC40, delivery gentleman was fantastic cannot fault him, car was dropped off from a trailer on my driveway. Handover was great all controls detailed brilliant. Sadly I went to go out this evening for my first drive (really excited) and the car is stuck in Transport mode meaning the maximum speed is 19/20 mph... as I live on a 60mph road this is risky. Sadly I have now wasted my entire evening trying to sort the issues with a brand new car which should have been fully checked before delivery in my opinion. Now I have a car that is not fit for purpose and all I can do is hope that Volvo UK can come to me and fix it. I cannot drive it to the dealership as it would be unsafe. Fingers crossed it is resolved..

My Volvo was in for a recall, the phone call i received from the service department was absolutely shocking, extremely aggressive over the phone and damn right rude. I have never received such a phone call from anyone within customer services. I would strongly recommend the service manager to remove this person from any dealings with customers whether this is face to face or over the phone. I believe she would be more suited to a back street garage rather than a dealership.

Son in law on holiday in Swansea had a puncture then discovered he didn’t have the locking wheel nut. Calle FRF Volvo who sorted him out the next day. Very pleasant people to work with.

Purchased a used XC60 only to find a few months later it had an outstanding credit agreement. This meant I couldn't sell it and technically didn't own it.
When I called them their sales assistant was rude, unhelpful and most insulting. I didn't imagine I would have to run my own HPI on a car from a main dealer.

Absolutely disgusting treatment & totally negligent.

Spoke to the guys at FRF and wanted to buy a wheel jack and brace was told it came as kit that would fit in my boot 2010 D60 it was delivered yesterday but will not fit anywhere in my boot so a rang them and they where going to phone me back today but a had no call so rang again and was told that it would only fit some cars and the guy just kept going on as if it was my fault that they sold me parts that did not fit NEVER AGAIN
