Appalling aftercare service
This has been the worst company I have ever dealt with, and I strongly recommend avoiding them. The slats on our brand-new bed broke within three days of delivery. We provided clear photos showing that the break occurred at a weak joint, yet the company refused to accept any responsibility. Only after persistent follow-up did they agree to replace the slats—requiring us to pay the delivery fee.
Considering we live just 15 minutes from their head office, their lack of support was incredibly disappointing. Even now, they still refuse to acknowledge any fault. The replacement slats took two months to arrive, and when they finally delivered them, they wouldn’t take the broken ones away.
Overall, this has been a very poor experience with unacceptable customer service. I would strongly advise avoiding this company.
UPDATE - having read your review, I'd be happy to upload the photograph of the broken slat, showing clearly that the slat broke both cleanly and seamlessly along a jagged join, which clearly indicated a manufacturing defect, which was sent to you straight away. That way, any future buyers can see for themselves.

We’re saddened to receive this 1* review following the resolution we recently completed for you outside of our usual term & conditions of warranty.
After reviewing the photos you provided of a clear break in two of the slats, our Product Team determined that the damage appeared to be accidental in nature and was not related to a manufacturing fault, which is why it isn’t covered under our one-year manufacturing warranty.
The proof of delivery images showed the bed, including the slats were delivered in perfect condition, and the items signed for as received in ‘perfect condition’, with the damage being reported two days later, following a mattress delivery from a different company. Damages reported after the point of delivery cannot be accepted at French Bedroom's liability.
Despite this, we wanted to ensure you could enjoy your new bed, so we covered the full cost of replacement slats.
With regards to the replacement slats we delivered to you, these were not in stock at the time you reported your issue, though we kept you fully informed throughout and you were aware of the wait time for us to receive this from our supplier.
We subsidise our delivery fees by over 60% for our customers. Delivery of our items is not cheap and we do not expect our customers to pay the true cost, which is why we absorb these additional operational costs. We also left the broken slats with you to avoid any additional charges to you, and replacement parts were sent as soon as they became available.
Our team acted beyond the warranty to provide a fair solution, and we hope this clarifies the steps we took to assist you.

I recently placed a large order with French Bedroom, including a bed, mattress, console table, bedside table, mirror, and bed linen, and I couldn't be happier! The quality of the products is exceptional, truly a cut above the rest.
I also want to give a special shout-out to Conner for the fantastic customer service throughout the entire process. He was always available to answer my questions and made sure everything went smoothly.
I'm incredibly grateful for the support I received and the beautiful items that now adorn my home. I highly recommend French Bedroom to anyone looking for luxury furniture and outstanding service!

I am very happy with my lovely new bed .However I would definitely not recommend paying the £60 fee to assemble your bed.
The two men who reluctantly assembled my bed left me with the plastic cover on the very heavy mattress so I had to lift the whole mattress to remove it.As they put the bed together without tightening the bolts it fell to bits. As I am elderly living on my own. I then had to pay a local handyman to assemble it correctly

It’s just so nice to have something out of the ordinary in place of studs the duvet/pillow cases fasten with lovely BOWS which look so pretty…. Excellent customer service
I was moving house and had to ask for my beds delivery to be delayed by several weeks. Communication with the company was excellent, keeping me informed at every stage.
When it was delivered it was very well packed for its journey to my home in France.
