On today’s visit 26/3/25 to the fish and chip shop on the Southport pier after hearing good reviews disappointed doesn’t even cover it. I ordered chips small sausage and mushy peas and chips/one fish cake mushy peas and chips and two small cokes. I asked for bread the reply was,we don’t do it today.The bill came to £14.00 you decide for your self is this value for money. The portion size came in the smallest tray, not on a plate as we were eating in. The plan was to share our meal with are grandson even he turned his nose up at it. The reason were the chips had sharp edges the fish cake was over fishy taste, and the peas thick and dry. The only thing that tasted ok was the standard chippy sausage. Well done on that one. Sad to say I feel completely ripped off.
