Really good stock images, exceptional AI image generator. Easy to use. Easy to edit.
In summary it over advertises what it can do especially when it comes to image generation. I tried some simple tasks like adding a logo designed onto simple box and it struggled. With each iteration it destroyed what came before it.
The user experience in general is terrible. I tried to create a style and it didn't really show me what it created. Trying to apply that style to your images is also a waste of time.
If you want to create images and videos stick to Midjourney it's superior in every way both in terms of image, video and ease of use.
So many other problems from speed to just a very confusing navigational experience.
I thought I'd give them the benefit of the doubt and asked for a refund just hours after my purchase and it was denied by a bot. Honestly it's a money grab with fancy advertising that gives you a half baked product.

I too was scammed by this company, and you as a consumer have rights.
There are far too many complaints for this to be an isolated incident. It appears to be a recurring pattern: charge users a full-year subscription, block accounts without warning, issue template replies, and keep the money.
For anyone affected by Freepik’s account bans, false “automation” claims, or denial of refunds, please take a few minutes to file complaints through legitimate consumer and business channels and warn others publicly. Each individual report adds to the documented pattern of misconduct.
By submitting public reviews and filing formal complaints you will save others the headache you have gone through and cost the company a lot more money than their one off payment they were able to take from you.
I have compiled a list of resources that you may find useful. If you anyone has any to add please let me know.

I subscribed to Freepik’s “Unlimited” plan in good faith, paying for a full year upfront. Shortly after, my account was suspended without warning and I was accused of “automated” misuse; a claim that was false and completely unsubstantiated.
Their “Security Team” provided no evidence, no appeal process, and simply repeated a templated (automated even) response stating the decision was final. Despite confirming that only one person ever used the account, they permanently banned access and refused to refund the remaining balance of the subscription.
This appears to be a recurring pattern based on the volume of similar complaints from other users online. I have seen people report being charged for an entire year, denied access, and then dismissed with identical canned replies citing vague “automation” or “simultaneous usage” violations.
In my view, this conduct reflects deceptive and unfair business practices. If a company collects advance payment for “unlimited use,” it should not revoke service arbitrarily, without proof, or refuse refunds for unused time. Doing so amounts to taking payment for services never rendered.
I’ve documented my case and reported the incident to the following agencies and platforms.
This experience has cost me both time and money, and it highlights a concerning lack of accountability. I’m sharing this not out of anger, but to warn other consumers and encourage anyone affected to document and report their experience as well.
The more of us who report, the easier it becomes for oversight agencies to identify patterns of misconduct.

I have a Freepik Premium+ account for my small design team, paying around €1,000 a year. Since I created the membership, I’ve been stuck as a contributor with no way to revoke my own license or transfer admin rights to someone else. This makes no sense — most decision-makers aren’t individual contributors. To make it worse, customer support confirmed they can’t fix it either. For a paid team plan, this is a major flaw. One star, zero if I could.

They have the worst customer experience ever. There is no actual person that you can contact with if you have a problem with your account. 01384761

Scam website. I think pay google i think to make their business top of the search results. because i encounter them constantly.
They advertise free pictures and assets. But they are not free. You have to subscribe. While all their pictures are AI generated with data scraped from the internet.
This is just a plain scam. Advertising something is free and stealing someone elses work. al the while asking money for it.

Be careful, you think you've canceled a Freepik subscription, but you'll need to make several extra clicks to actually cancel it. Freepik will deduct money again the following month, if you don't click all the way.

My account was suddenly banned with accusations of “fraudulent downloads” and “account sharing.” This is absurd — I never shared the account and never used automation. I was in the middle of active projects, and because of this ban I couldn’t finish tasks on time. I had to explain myself to clients and deal with unnecessary problems.
Freepik refused to provide any evidence, only template replies, and then denied a refund. A yearly subscription is not a small amount of money, and instead of receiving a service, I lost both money and professional credibility.
If anyone from Freepik is actually reading this, I ask you to review the case properly. Case number: #01364611
UPD: LIARS! ANOTHER STANDARD RESPONSE! THIEVES AND SCAMMERS!
UPD2: fraudulent activity? How can you engage in fraud by generating images? Do you know what you're talking about? you accused me that several people had access to the account, there were multiloads and something like that. Do you confirm your words? I asked you to provide proof!!! Because it JUST COULDN'T BE!!! There is no proof, and all the answers are simple standard unsubscriptions. You are scammers and liars. You're blocking accounts, forcing them to buy another subscription! I will leave feedback wherever possible, as well as make it public and record a video so that people choose other aggregators. I have channels with related topics, for a total of 430 thousand people. There will be justice for you

This company is completely fraud. I bought their trial subscription in July and wasn't able to do anything because "it was not enough" and system asked me to update my subscription to more expensive one. I refused from this idea. Then I saw they took my money in August and I asked them to return my money and cancelled my subsctiption. Just now I checked the card I used and saw they stole my money after cancellation already 2 times, September and October!!! Give me back my money and stop stealing from me!!!

When you're ready to cancel, they will try to trick you. After you click cancel, there's another page that asks you a question to help their marketing team out. Then after you click cancel again, you'll get another question. Then after you click the third time, you'll get another question. And after the fourth click, you'll actually cancel the subscription -- I THINK, but now I'm not sure. I don't trust them after that experience.

There are some lovely useable photo's and when the search engine is working correctly it is great, however unfortunately there have been many occasions that I have spent hours wading through questionable photographs that have absolutely nothing to do with the search parameters, sourcing at another site with ease.

Freepik has been my go to for many years. I love the way they evolve with emerging trends as a company. Even the free access is more than valuable for any beginner.
