I was disappointed that freely do not have a reminder option like Freeview. I was told freely did have this option once but it's been removed. Why would you remove a useful feature like this. Progress... See more

SPOLIER ALERT: You still NEED an aerial and it's extremely unreliable.
I have no choice but to return a new Sharp TV with Freely. In theory, it seems like a great idea - plug it in, connect it to WiFi and away you go. In reality, a lot of channels still require an aerial to work and this isn't made clear at all. On the very first channel I went on after set up (BBC One), it came up with Error ETV6019. Sadly, the service is full of bugs and, quite honestly, it's not ready for use. I can't possibly recommend a TV with Freely right now. It just doesn't work.
I've since also found out that most of these new Freely TVs have very poor aerial tuners in them. For ages, I couldn't work out why it wouldn't find all the channels when all of my other TVs can. It seems the new aerial tuners in these Freely TVs are of very poor quality so you might find yourself missing a bunch of channels. Why is everything such a race to the bottom these days?! A complete waste of time and a waste of resources.

Very poor software programming. Full of bugs. Constantly forgetting channels. No option to create a favourite list of channels so you have put up with scrolling past all the selling channels like QVC etc. I presume this is deliberate. I paid a small fortune for a decent TV only to have freely dictate what's on the channels list. I would have given it a negative score

Morning. It’s not your fault but try and put yourself in an old person’s shoes. All the jargon is hard to understand and follow, in fact I couldn’t follow it and having no one to help was just about to find a TV engineer when a neighbour came in and he helped in 10 minutes. Would have cost a regular, old age person lots of money, worry and time to fix. Surely there is an easier way or service for us tec unsavy oldies to have please????

Absolute rubbish, slow, unfriendly and continually failing to show regional ITV. We have full optical fibre broadband with a very fast Internet speed.

Excellent service from Freely and I’m very impressed. I had an issue with a new TV that I purchased and Freely were nothing but helpful and went above and beyond to fix the issue. Turns out if was an issue with the TV software itself rather than Freely but they still went above and beyond to try and find a solution for me. I would highly recommend.

Constantly losing connection, constantly getting error codes, constantly rebooting tv & internet does not work. Even tried Aerial connection still the same issues. I definitely will not recommend freely and really mad I got rid of my free view tv!

Freely absolute crap. I really want a tv without it and go back to something that actually works. Freeview is a service I can rely on. The only unfortunate thing here is that there is no option for ZERO stars which is what it deserves. My Sharp tv will be returned to them with a recommendation never to install this shit

I asked for assistance as i had no tv channels. The advisor seemed to have no idea. I explained the internet was working, The TV channels went off with an error saying no Internet Connection. I used the hub key still no success. The advisor said there was a problem with on Isle of Wight and i had to wait until the problem was resolved. I looked at Google that said there was no problem on Isle of Wight.
I went on to resolve the problem myself the sameday. The advisor indicated the problem could last a few more days.
