Do not provide certificates in 24 hrs and may damage your property

I chose this company because they said the issued certificates in 24 hrs. Our buyer had asked for one and we had a short window to provide it. It turned out they were not able to provide certificates in 24 hrs of receiving all the information they required. I understand they were short staffed but that should have been explained when booking rather than saying yes to certificates in 24hrs.
What was worse was that after the EIRC our fused spur switch was flickering. When I reported this and asked for it to be repaired I was told that it wasn't anything to do with the EIRC and can happen at any time. I have lived here for 18 years and it has never flickered. Yet immediately after our EIRC it is flickering. That is too much of a coincidence.
They said "assessor did not carry out any testing or work on the switched fused spur during the EICR". When I looked this up I read it is normal to check these and we only have one.
They initially said they would look into sending someone out to fix it. They ended up offering to give me a quote to have it fixed!! So now I have to pay approx £150 to get someone else out to fix the damage that they have caused. It is not fair on our buyer to leave it like that as it was not like that when they made an offer on our property.
If you have a boiler service you do not receive any details of what was done, just 'Appliances service' ticked on the GSC.
Be careful when giving them the details of your property. They asked me how many rooms, so I put 4. They then put this on the bill as a four bed roomed property! That makes a difference to what you pay.
If you do use this company I would strongly recommend following the assessor around as if there is anything damaged after you will not be able to prove it.
