Digital counter scam

We recently changed our analog counter to a digital counter because of regulations in Belgium. When you have a PV installation, the netto result is processed in the next months of your payments when changing the counter. We had 448 KWh generated extra which should have been discounted for in the bills.

An employee immediately mailed us after the replacement to change our contract to a dynamic one, without disclosing that when the contract is changed, the extra net energy you generated is reset to 0, which is of course in their advantage since they don't have to discount for this anymore.

When confronting them about this in mail and on the phone, they were impolite, dismissive and very defensive.

I will be changing providers.

We are sorry to hear about your experience.

Switching your contract should not cause previously injected kWh to disappear. Your excess production must always be settled correctly. After the meter replacement, we received information from Fluvius indicating that no feed-in had been registered on your new digital meter. This is why the compensation for the 448 kWh could not be processed by us.

We are currently in contact with Fluvius to further investigate this matter.

3 months of advance payment even if you quit the first month

They require 3 moths of advanced payment, which is nowhere mentioned before you apply. Even if you change provider, they still send prepayment bills. After contacting them they say it is their normal practice. Unacceptable!

They denied giving me a 1st year discount

They denied giving me a 1st year discount although I gave them the contract I've got from energyprice.be, so I went back to my previous electricity&gas provider.
That's the only complain I have about them, everything else seems OK at first glance.

LE: After posting here my 3-star review I've got the discount they promised, but I've already switched back to my previous provider so I can't take advantage of it. Anyways, I'm updating my review to 4-star because they've corrected their mistake.

LE2: The final invoice was higher that I was expected due to the fixed fee that I had to pay for 6 months, although the contract lasted only a couple days longer than a month! Therefore I go back to 3-stars because they made me pay for their own mistake.
