Digital counter scam
We recently changed our analog counter to a digital counter because of regulations in Belgium. When you have a PV installation, the netto result is processed in the next months of your payments when changing the counter. We had 448 KWh generated extra which should have been discounted for in the bills.
An employee immediately mailed us after the replacement to change our contract to a dynamic one, without disclosing that when the contract is changed, the extra net energy you generated is reset to 0, which is of course in their advantage since they don't have to discount for this anymore.
When confronting them about this in mail and on the phone, they were impolite, dismissive and very defensive.
I will be changing providers.
