Jimdo review - THE FUNCTIONALITY HAS NOT CHANGED IN 10 YEARS!! Yet, they still increase their charges.

Cancelation terms are the worst found. After the initial subscription, you have 14 days to cancel --- after this, it is automatic - plus you will be locked in 1 month before the autiomatic date of renewal, further making it complicated.

We have been doing business with Jimdo for over 10 years. This year they disactivated our website and email 2 days before the final payment notice. Since then they have responded that the our payment has been received and our account is active. This is not accurate. The website is no longer online so we are no longer visible in the market. The email no longer works either. Totally unprofessional. 3 weeks later still nothing works.

Do not even start with jimdo, they are the true charlatan! They just try to get your money even if you are not with them anymore.. they still ask you for money.. and money..that's the only thing you are for them!!

When I saw over a year ago at the beginning of the Corona crisis that Jimdo had a help offer for small businesses and self-employed people, I took it up for around 10 EUR / year. When I looked at my emails recently, I couldn't believe my eyes. The supposed support to victims of the Covid crisis was a bait-and-switch offer from which Jimdo wanted to profit and now charges almost 600 EUR. An expensive undertaking for my website, especially since the Covid crisis hit me hard.

Even though the 600 EUR was misleadingly charged, Jimdo didn't want to back out of the bill, even though I hadn't needed the website for almost a year at the time & my financial situation looked very bad.

A really unethical behaviour which is not proportionate, especially when you are marketing that you support the "little ones".

I would never trust this company again. & most of the reviews here are questionable anyway....

Efficace en ce qui concerne le contact technique, mais je trouve que Jimdo manque de souplesse quand au commercial.

Don't use them they are scammers and even if it was real they over charge you!!

Lost my homepages because they deleted the account of my colleague who administrates the pages without warning, talking and for still unknown reasons. They are trying to hide their illegal misconduct and don't give her as a copy of her data as requested, so that we have to involve the ICO now.
She wrote from the UK in English, as she is living here for many years, and got after a long time an answer in German from the French support address, that's why this page deserves one star. Arrogant answers seem to be standard as far as I have seen on their reviews. Will avoid German companies in future, have heard too many similar stories from the EU continent meanwhile... and now I am effected too.

Generally Jimdo mostly focus on new customers forgetting about old ones and forcing them to find other alternatives with all problems that might cause to businesses while customer service care zero about complains
