Avoid FP Markets: Unresponsive - Holding ALL my funds

I remain extremely disappointed with my experience at FP Markets, and recent events have only served to amplify my frustrations. After my initial problems, wherein my account was frozen due to "abnormal sequences" without any valid explanation or reason, I filed a complaint with the Australian Financial Complaints Authority (AFCA). To my surprise, FP Markets responded to this by stating that I was onboarded under their offshore branch, thus the AFCA has no jurisdiction over my case.

On looking back, I realized they had indeed onboarded me in St. Vincent and the Grenadines, a well-known offshore jurisdiction, effectively leaving me without any regulatory protection. This underhanded tactic by FP Markets is deeply concerning, and a clear warning sign for anyone considering their services. They appear to intentionally onboard clients in such a way to evade regulatory oversight and leave their clients without any form of recourse or protection.

Despite my numerous attempts to reach out to them and resolve this issue, my emails continue to be met with total silence. It is evident that they have no interest in addressing their customers' concerns or resolving their issues. It seems they are happy to continue their unethical practices without regard for the financial harm and distress it causes their clients.

I implore anyone considering FP Markets as a trading platform to think twice. Based on my personal experience, they are a company who act in their own interests at the expense of their clients. They onboard clients under an offshore branch in a sneaky way, leaving you with zero protection when things go wrong.

I will continue to share my experiences with FP Markets to help prevent others from falling into the same trap. Avoid FP Markets at all costs!
