well my saga continues, i rang them again on 24/4 to ask for a tracking number which they couldn't give me but they said the IQ box had left the warehouse and they promised me a credit for the delay. surprise, i rang them again on 29/4 to ask for a tracking number and was told they were just ordering the box today. i also asked where my credit was and they tried to tell me they couldn't give a credit until i quoted the last call reference number when a credit was promised.
i don't know whether i will ever receive the box but i will let you know. stand by for part III.
p.s. i got a tracking number almost immediately after writing this. lets see what happens next.

Question Ignored Multiple times - Absolutely Disgusted

I was speaking to Hayden who was ignoring my question even though I asked it multiple times. He was giving me to go around every time I asked it. Then when I asked to have the contact details of his manager, he said about how he would discuss the claim with his manager and they would get back to me. And then tried to end the conversation.

Absolute disgrace of a company and the customer service is even worse. I got told the person chatting with me is dealing with 3 people at the same time so I have to re type questions. Didn't even get close to a resolution. Clearly putting prices up without putting money into their existing customers. Absolutely disgusting.

Appalled by disgustingly poor customer…

Appalled by disgustingly poor customer service that I received today… I was a long standing Foxtel customer of 11 years… due to time constraints and not using Foxtel hardly at all over the last couple of years… I called to cancel effective immediately and to receive a refund (they debited me earlier today)… he kept trying to convince me to stay despite me being very clear that I don’t use Foxtel anymore, I don’t have the time to watch it and I haven’t used it in years and since it had just been debited earlier today, I’d like funds refunded immediately… he insisted I provide a reason why (none of their business really but I’d already told him why 👆🏼) then said he couldn’t refund me… I insisted on speaking to his supervisor or anyone higher than him and he said they’d all tell me the same thing so I’d just be wasting my time… of course the supervisor agreed to the refund… I would not recommend these guys to anyone as this is how they treat someone whose been with them for 11+ years!! Appalling!!

Drowned in graphic begging adds, no relaxation here

I've had foxtel for years, there's just no competition for watching golf unfortunately....
Foxtel has become unwatchable due to the volume of repetitive, bad taste disgusting adds. Sick dying children and animals in graphic detail over and over and over, all begging for your dime. Even if you were to pay, the adds only become more prolific, that's how they use your dime. I don't recommend foxtel and I don't recommend paying any of these disgusting marketing campaigns robbing viewers of their few minutes of potential relaxation after work. Marketers should try getting a useful contributing occupation

I am astonished Foxtel is still in…

I am astonished Foxtel is still in business. Appalling outdated rubbish, old or D rated movies, massive commercials on every channel, and the most incompetent moronic 'support' people on their online chat service. Simple English explanations seem to defeat these idiots - words of one syllable needed. Ghastly experiences, the simplest issue turns into major agony with these cretins reading off scripts which don't match the issue. Seriously terrible.

I have spent half an hour this…

I have spent half an hour this afternoon trying to cancelling my foxtel....why did it take so long...I just wanted to cancel, but the ladies tried really hard to talk me out of it - why don't they just listen to the customer - really frustrating. Please think about this.... I managed to cancel it in the end.....

AVOID AT ALL COSTS

CANCELLED MY FOXTEL. THE GUY I DEALT WITH SAID MY ACCOUNT WAS UP TO DATE & NO MONEY WAS OWING.

TODAY, I GET A LETTER FROM A DEBT COLLECTOR TODAY SAYING I OWE FOXTEL.
I CALLED FOXTEL BUT AS MY ACCOUNT IS CLOSED THEY WEREN'T ABLE TO ASSIST ME.

BULLSHIT.

Reduced service for the same fee

Got offered the opportunity to upgrade from iQ3 to the latest box, and guess what?? Free to air channels can now only be viewed by logging into the apps, and free to air programs can no longer be recorded if they are showing when you are asleep or at work, and if they are not streamed by the app, you will miss them. How strange that service delivery is reduced but my monthly premium is unchanged. So I am paying the same, for less service. Way to go, Foxtel, what a rort.

The absolute worst website and customer…

The absolute worst website and customer service. Whenever i try to log in i get a "bad access" page. Its been going on for years. They are not contactable by email and their "live chat" takes you back to the login page to get the error page again. Honestly, how this company makes money is beyond me. Its the worst customer service and least user friendly platform on the market. Venting here because i can't even send feedback to their website because it doesn't work!

Shocking service

Shocking service. I let it keep rolling even after the kids were grown. No compensation for long periods of not working, which was frequent. Impossible customer service. When I moved out to rent my home they messed me around as much as they always had. Excess charges to put it on hold and a circus sideshow to finally close it for good. Told me I had to make a time for a technician to disconnect. When I rang back to make a time told me that option was no longer available. I have to disconnect and send it back myself. Never again. I look forward to observing them circling down the drain.

DO NOT USE this carrier as a broadband provider. my service has been out for over two weeks and they are no closer to resolving the issue. You cannot get assistance and they refuse to help. Absolutely not worth the stress, and they can't manage a basic fault. STAY AWAY!

Stop removing channels

If I could I'd give foxtel 0 stars.
They keep removing channels I've watched for 25 years & either made them streaming only through an app you have to pay for or completely removed it like All the music channels.
They only care about making profits not customers..
The price doesn't reduce!

I can still anything on watchseries.pe for free but I still need foxtel to tape everything.

There were tonnes of amazing music channels to suit any genre and now there's nothing to choose from.
It's a total disgrace!

I'm paying for less and less. No wonder people are leaving in droves!
Look at their score out of 5. It won't be long before it's 0. It's so unfortunate foxtel don't care about any complaints.

I also had major trouble with MAX then an employee from Foxtel rang & I wish I'd never answered the call!

Without my consent. While I was watching my favourite shows he reset my foxtel box!
I was beside myself! I begged him to stop it! He said it's too late.
I have Multiple Sclerosis and tv is my life.
I had to wait 12hrs for it to reconnect!

I was crying. I was so distraught!
He was from the Phillipines.
From now on if I have to ring foxtel I'll ask to be put through to Australia.

Shocking and appealing customer service!!
I wrote a huge complaint on the link I was speaking to the operator on and a different representative tang me. She apologised and gave me a $30 credit & said I had to ring Telstra billing to get a further credit.
I couldn't be bothered waiting on hold for 55 mins so I let it go.

When I got my bill I was $25 in credit.. huh
Somehow my whole foxtel bill of $76 was paid & I'm $25 in credit.

Small victories!

Still I went through extreme upset & turmoil for no reason! I should be credited for a whole year.

No wonder people are leaving in droves! They're just removing channels regularly 😢
So upsetting 😡

Technical support is a frustrating joke, they don't have a clue & after 3 long calls no FOXTEL, so I will be cancelling & think thousands of customers will do the same .

A joke, if something goes wrong don't call for help, 3 very long calls with different people, they just don't help & are patronising & don't care & blame all faults on internetconnections, so frustrated it's ridiculous, one of the very worst greedy companies, I am completely done with Foxtel & they certainly do not deserve 1 star
