As always our dog loves this food
As always our dog loves this food. We had to alter our order because our dog is recovering from dental treatment ( soft food only). It was very easy to change and we asked for it to be dispatched immediately which it was. Great service all round.

The pupstar still loves the food from…
The pupstar still loves the food from Forthglade and is delighted when it gets delivered. I only give it 4 stars because the delivery company always seems to have a problem being able to deliver to us! This is the second time we've experienced problems, and this time the remainder of our order was returned because they 'missed us'. Previous reason was that they couldn't find us, yet they same company did when they reattempted the following day!

Changing diet for a sensetive dog
Easy to order. Delivery by courier was stressful. Informed it was out for delivery at 09.40 on the Friday, but received the delivery at 20.40 the following Monday. This appears to be the norm for DHL. Never had this problem with Evri.
Have only just started the change over process mixing the foods gradually. Will know by the end of the week whether Bella takes to it without any problems.

Profits before pets
I reached out to Forthglade explaining how much we're struggling after our dog had suffered a spinal stroke at Easter and between the emergency vet bills, the care and treatment afterwards and the ongoing rehabilitation that we had to make the hard decision to cancel our subscription, we didn't want to go. Their response from 'Sophie' was ok we've cancelled everything, I know it was what I asked for but they didnt even offer a pause, it felt like 'they can't pay let's cancel immediately'. Whereas Tails who I've also had to contact for the same reason (we get the dry food from there) had a totally different response to Forthglade, they have slightly changed my subscription to make it cheaper and also added a discount for the next 3 months, something that I was not expecting at all and for that reason I will be sticking with them in the future (after a 2 month pause) and not returning to Forthglade at all, which is a shame as my dog loves their food. They didn’t even offer to send out the treats that I was not paying anything for due to the credit on my account.
It's pretty clear to see that unlike Tails, Forthglade cares more about profits than pets. I emailed them about this and got no response which says it all. Goodbye Forthglade 👋

Good Quality Food
Forthglade food is of good quality, 75% meat (not meat derivatives) in the wet food and 50% in the dry. It is priced in the mid range and is affordable. My dog likes it and I didn't have any problems when I first started using it. It seems to be easy to digest.
I use the delivery service which is reliable and means that I never run out. It is much better now as they changed from Evri to DPD, while reliable before the packets were arriving burst open inside the boxes. Customer service were quick to respond.
Overall, my experience with Forthglade has been good, my dog seems well and enjoys the food.

I cannot tell you how my dogs enjoyed this product as, after a week, it has not been received. This is almost certainly due to using Evri, who regularly 'lose' parcels or return them.

Beautiful food!
Very elderly dog with bowel incontinence. The turkey dinner was recommended for a low residue diet. Results are fantastic, she loves the food and the clean up is definitely easier. A really lovely product, highly recommend.

Very pleased with Forthglade small dog food.
Changed to this dog food for our newly adopted Poodle as her previous food was causing upset tummies all the time. Her tummy has settled down and she is always ready for her meals now. It's great to have it delivered. Knowing that the food is all natural puts our mind at rest.
