Terrible program slows the computer to a stop
I stand by my review of this programme but have been in contact with customer support who have now refunded me in full and were very helpful. Therefore regarding all the good reviews it is worth trying, it may well work for your computer. I would give their customer service 5 stars but the program was terrible for me.
Downloaded and paid for this thinking my computer needed cleaning up and speeding up after reading all the great reviews on here. It was a big mistake. My computer became totally unresponsive, the program took over the computer. It was like going back to the 1990's dial up internet, everything just stopped working, I could not get into any programs. I spent hours watching the twirly circle which means wait. I could hear the computer making all the ticky noises as though everything had been blocked. I managed to remove it and everything went back to normal so it was definitely Fortect causing the problems! Well one days use of a program for £32 (advertised at £26) is a good learning experience! I will never get back the time spent struggling to make this work and probably will never see my cash again. What I don't understand is all the great reviews because I was ready to throw the computer out the window. Be very careful it will take over your computer in a bad way.

It's magic, no smoke and mirrors....
After exhausting all of Microsoft's "cmd(s)" and not eliminating the problems, I remember a post about Fortech. It actually had a real trial version, which required a manual repair of each item it found. Quite some time later, everything was fixed by Fortech. So I bought in for some licences. Yup, the computer is running okay again.

Uninstall Fiascal
I was having trouble uninstalling a program both through Microsoft Software and Fortect. Although I eventually figured it hours later, (Stubborn)Fortect responded quickly to assist. That alone impressed me. Now I'm confident they will be there not only to assist me in the future, but be there to keep my Laptop running a top performance.

Be warned it deletes things without giving info
So I got this and all seemed amazing it was doing what was intended so i bought a year subsciption. I then unistaleld a game on steam to be prompted by it to say hey shall I clean up the files from the game you just uninmstalled on steam (i was impressed as i had uninstalled it direclty in steam. So I instantly agreed, it then proceeded to without me even knowing till after every single game in my steam library on the c drivedeleted, nearly 800 gig of games and I am not on the fastest of internet so its going to take me weeks to download it all gain, I then began the instal and fortect which i had hit exit on turned out its still running in the back ground wants me to clean up 10k of files from a game im instlaling, heck no, I have now uninstalled the porgram from my computer entierly and am moving back to fsecure ticket (#294707). to say no warning no it literally told me would you like to clean up the folder of (game name) so I said yes. it then deleted everything so not only did it clean up one folder is deleted my entire steam directory. which i have just finished reinstalling but still mising a few older games I cannot remember but i stopped playing them so out of mind. I sent the pictures of what it said to me on my ticket which clearly shows it naming the game itself not saying "and all of steam"

I'm very impressed.
To be honest, I had forgotten that I'd added Fortect to my PC. I'm not a heavy computer user, and I'm running Windows 10 on a Dell PC that's a few years old. But when I experienced a sudden slowdown of my system yesterday, I noticed the Fortect icon and decided to run a scan. Working for nearly an hour, It fixed 105,241 items and brought the speed all the way back to normal.

I read the glowing reviews and…
I read the glowing reviews and subscribed. Within minutes my computer was running very slowly and the camera would not work. AI customer services worked well and eventually told me to uninstall Fortect which I did and but the camera failed to work. In the meantime i asked for a refund which they did but then said they would offer no further support if you werent a subscriber. They seem to reply to poor reviews suggesting you contact customer service which is AI and goes round in a circle. Shame as clearly they have a good product let down by the service. I would re subscribe if i could speak to someone but I cant and am left with a broken camera.
