Brilliant detailed course

I am in the process of completing my Level 3 Forest School Leader course online.
The support team and Teams support sessions are really helpful and the content of the course is very detailed.
Would highly recommend if online is suited to your work schedule as I love the flexibility of when I study.

1-1 session with Pete

I had a 1-1 session with Pete to help enhance my knowledge whilst completing my forest school training. The session from start to finish was jam packed with facts, a deeper understanding and so much fun. I came away feeling confident and eager to learn more. I will definitely be booking another session. Pete was kind and made the whole experience very relaxing. He’s an absolute asset to the company and what he doesn’t know isn’t worth knowing! Fab guy

I'm doing the online Level 3 Forest School Leader training, which is a good opportunity when you're abroad and want to run your own Forest School outside the UK. The videos are short and basic, they don't give much information. The grading of the evidence you have to submit takes a long time.

I don’t think 9 months is achievable if you have a job or other commitments. If you do not complete in the 9 months you have to pay to redo the whole course. From what I’ve read extensions are not granted. I’ve also found the training materials not enough and I’m having to google and research more to answer the questions thoroughly. Theres a lot of extras as well that is not advertised. You need to demonstrate setting up shelters, knots and tools use so you will need to buy these extras (included in the tool kit but still extra costs in addition to the course. Overall I wish I’d picked a different provider

Forest school training for educators…

Forest school training for educators has been an absolute game-changer! The easy access to materials and the exceptional quality of the videos have truly elevated the learning experience. 🌿📽️

One of the most remarkable aspects of this program is the accessibility it offers. With readily available materials and resources, educators can seamlessly integrate outdoor learning into their curriculum. This convenience not only saves time but also ensures that teachers have everything they need to create engaging and meaningful lessons in the natural environment.

This school is teaching my sons to be hypocrites I feel bad for the boys of u 13 As Berkhamsted when there were blatant fouls and handballs by the forest boys and our manager said to us that was out or that was a foul but didn’t tell the referee he made a mistake which by the was a sixth former but on the educational side it is abysmal as the teachers are rubbish in their specific fields

Excellent course. Inspires and pumps skills and knowledge.

An excellent course, step by step leading to the result of the student.

The only online course for leading forestry schools.

At the same time, almost all educational work is carried out offline.

Short videos and text blocks describe the task and motivate. Next comes independent work in nature. It includes developing skills, studying the area, working with local administration and many other issues.

Feedback is provided for each task.

Initially, 300 hours was intimidating for me. Because my English is not very strong. But in fact, everything was quite simple for perception.

I liked this format.

I was very inspired by the very approach of forest schools, scientific validity, the need to work with scientific research in the learning process. Focus on the holistic development of the child, and not on the content of the lesson. This was clear even from the first level of FSL level 1. But it was in the third that every lesson, every skill, every piece of information supported the main mission. Therefore, it is impossible not to fall in love with this approach.

Of the minuses: I would like to get feedback on completed tasks on the platform faster.

But it was not so scary, because you could always write to program managers on Facebook and get a prompt response.

For me, the course was an impetus for professional and internal growth. Thank you!
