Unhygienic return policy – Corporate expects me to pay to ship a used Footlogix Callus Foot File to pay to ship a used Footlogix Callus Foot File
I am incredibly disappointed with this company's corporate service and return policy. I purchased their double-sided stainless steel Footlogix callus foot file for $29.04 plus tax. The salesperson never even informed me that you are supposed to use a callus softener with this product. To use this file, you obviously have to scrape it against your skin to remove calluses. Everyone knows that once a hygiene product has been used like that, it becomes a biohazard covered in skin cells and cannot be safely returned. Despite their omission of proper usage instructions, corporate customer service is refusing to refund me unless I pay out of my own pocket to mail this contaminated item back to them. Expecting customers to pay to ship a used callus shaver hazard is irresponsible, unsafe, and completely unacceptable behavior from a corporate management. How can this company improve?Corporate management needs to update its company-wide policy to automatically issue returnless refunds for used personal hygiene tools rather than forcing customers to mail biological hazards. They must also ensure corporate-trained staff provide critical safety instructions, like the requirement of a callus softener, before taking a customer's money.
