Jim Gillies, analyst at the Motley Fool, is the foremost investing voice that I trust. His simple advice on complex investing issues is perfect for intelligent people who simply do not know much about investing and want to make their lives a little better with financial health.
I can, without a doubt, endorse his “Hidden Gems” service. My most recent exit from one of his recommendations gave me a 49% return in less than a year. And there are more to come.
Also, when you read his writing, his distinct voice appears. He’s funny, matter of fact, and pulls no punches. You also get a healthy slathering of well-placed and artistically crafted tongue in cheek humour. That alone is worth the read.
Invest in a membership and follow the advice closely. You will be very happy.

I followed the must-have stocks for 2025 and I must say it's performed tremendously. Luckily it also contained an oil stock! I'm up over 65%

I was caught in a renew situation, that I should have been more aware of, but Motley refunded to my credit card when told I no longer wanted it. This shows great integrity for their product which I have maintained for a couple of years to guide my stock investments,

My subscription was automatically renewed. So I contacted their service by email to cancel it. Got a polite reply right away saying that they had cancelled the service and that my credit card would be credited within the next few days.
I appreciated the prompt response. Great customer service.

I've been a member of the US stock advisor, Canada stock advisor and Hidden Gems for a decade. I built my stock portfolio with them to great gains. Their customer service is excellent and helpful, and the community board is helpful to reach out for questions on stock picks you'd like an update on. Been recommending to my friends forever, still highly recommend:)

With so many options out there, you can be assured that the Motley Fool is a legit business, I built my investment portfolio with them using their picks on their “stock advisor” service and have to say I am more than satisfied with the outcome. They are responsive and have real humans in customer service, they care about your satisfaction. 100% recommend

My inquiry was answered promptly and am very satisfied with the service.

They were great about providing a refund after I missed a renewal notification. The Fool information on Canadian companies is very useful, and right now my Cdn funds are doing even better than my US ones!!

Pretty useless. Constant emails and asking you to sign on to other premium subscriptions. Dont waste your money

Customer service was both understanding of my needs and prompt to offer a satisfactory resolution to the issue at hand. Quality product only matched by the quality service!

They offered to show 15 stocks by clicking a green bar. I did. They wanted my email address. So, I provided that. Then instead of showing me the 15 stock they try selling me subscription. That is coercive and shady. So, I looked at some reviews and see others also have been frustrated with the money grabbing. Question, if they are so good at stock picking, where is the need to do coercive marketing to sell subscriptions? They should let their track record do the selling.

So many major investment advisors focus on American stocks, it is really nice to have solid recommendations for Canadian dividend stocks.

Good email support
If you are looking to investing in Canadian stocks, this is a good platform that offers analysis reports.

Excellent advice and break down. One thing they could do better is separating Canada vs USA, its good but sometimes confusing and get too many US recommendations

Today, Jim Gillies sent an update on Greenfire and the "Greenfire Resources Rights Offering". I noticed this in my account, but thought it was a spin-off - did not have time to really dig in. I would have lost the opportunity to exercise the shares at a discount had not Jim sent this update. I have found Hidden Gems to be a really great resource and it's made me a pretty fair amount of $$$$. Thank you!
