Will not refund. Evil company.

Hello,

I purchased FontAwesome Pro so I could get some extra icons. I then integrated it into my project and discovered FontAwesome has icons for a million different genders which is sickening and against my religion. There is only 2 genders and I can not financially support people who believe otherwise. I nicely contacted their support and told them this is forbidden in my religion and asked for a refund. They denied my refund. Evil company ran by people with a woke agenda.

slow site, bad service

I upgraded to Pro because I thought their SVG kit was going to speed up might site. Instead my site load time went from 8 seconds to 20 seconds!

Their documentation is terrible. Very vague and not intuitive and I know HTML and CSS well. I can figure out anything but I have spent 2 months on Font Awesome trying to get it to work.

Their customer support is equally as bad. They just give one sentence answers that really don't answer the question.

Poor customer service for paid pro package

Had very bad customer service, there was no communication. I explained in detailed matter that one particular icon was not displaying on our main site, while it was approved in the domains. However it did display on our test-sites. The employee in question told me that it was working on the test site i sent him and he did not see anything wrong. This made me realize that they did not even browse to the main site to see what was wrong and also did not read my e-mail correctly.

I did not receive an e-mail back after I explained it. The icon is still not working to this date, and I don't understand why. We had to draw the icon ourselves and are forced to display the icon as an image... All other icons do work.

The other icons work fine and as they should it does enhance our site even further, that I am happy with :)

Very expensive for what it is.

- Feels expensive for what it is
- It's taken them to the 6th version to include number and letter icons
- The vast majority of requests never get implemented
- Lowest plan is $99 for 5 seats which excludes people like me who only need 1
- The icons come in many formats, like font files and SVGs, but oddly no PNGs. If you want PNGs, mainly for application compatibility, you'll have to conver them yourself
- The icons are also not available pre-categorised. Only want business icons? You'll always have to use the website search first. You can just go in to a business folder in the download
- The search tool will split results between pages but I cannot choose how many to show on a page. I want to be able to see everything in one go
- Nowhere in their documentation does it explain about enabling ligatures. It was driving me nuts that the text wasn't changing to icons in word. Well you have to open font settings and enable it. Nowhere does a Google search or their own documentation explain this, and Microsoft Office is a major suite of software. And people pay for this?!

Use a pirated copy like I do.
