Signed up for an account after getting to know Folder Fort from an article on pcmag.com. Extremely user friendly and easy to use. Recommend for professional as well as casual users.

Why is their no android APK and web browser only?

I understand the risks and the unreputability of this company, but hey I am not going to upload mission critical data there but treat it more like a secondary backup option since accessing the files may be faster than some cold storage.
I signed up for the lifetime 1TB plan, heck if it lasts a year it already pays for itself with competition.

The transfer speed is very good, but their UI is terrible. Latency is incredible and even though it takes maybe 20sec to upload 100MB, it takes another 40sec until the request response is acknowledged. So the actual upload of huge amount of data takes forever and you are just hoping it does not fail.

Heck even registration sucks, took me 3 tries to not fail the request timeout on that form submit. They are incredibly under utilizing their UI servers regardless what the data servers are on Backblaze.

Overall experience 2 stars, but if storage lasts I am generous with 3.

Just sign up. Clean and neat interface. Upload speed is reasonably good with multiple files. Waiting for its IOS interface!!
Will consider to sign up higher plan when more options are available!!

I'm currently in the process of trying out different cloud storage providers to decide on who I want to go with and I came across FolderFort. I signed up to test them and have been satisfied so far. The interface is simple and the speeds have been good. Pricing is right. I do have a few suggestions that would make it top my list. First is the ability to automatically copy my files/photos from other providers such as Google/Dropbox. Second is an app for my phone. I understand that the company is looking into all these, so I'm really hoping they make these happen asap so that I can move to them completely!

This service is brilliant, certainly a competitor to pcloud and Onedrive. I managed to grab the lifetime plan via StackSocial and haven't been disapointed so far. Can't wait for a proper mobile app, but for now, the website is very mobile-friendly and I haven't managed to find any issue with it yet (which is rare for complex mobile websites).

Signed up to Folderfort after coming across a thread on Reddit. Clean interface, decent speed and 2FA is added. Just waiting for the mobile app and an audit report to consider buying a higher plan.

I got bombarded with an advertisements for their 1 TB lifetime plan. It seemed too lucrative to miss, so I decided to research a bit.
First red flag was learning that they use BB servers; BB does not offer lifetime plans, so how can this company offer it - it sounds quite sketchy, they cannot earn money off such an arrangement?!
They sell 1 TB lifetime plan for 70$. I have checked BB pricing, 1 TB storage would set me back for 72$ a year, provided I don't use more than 3 TB of traffic; if I go over that traffic level, the cost goes steeply up - it is 192 $ per year for 4 TB traffic, and it reaches 4 figures with 11 TB of traffic.
So, it doesn't take a genius to calculate that my account will make FolderFort lose money less than one year into our venture, or even within only one month if I'm traffic hungry.
That makes sense for a charity, but not for a real company.
Then I came to TrustPilot and found 2-star review titled "Sketchy", which lighted few more red lights.
Good luck those who decided to bait on their offer...

I Paid for 2 TB folderfort with hard-earned money, hope They will not disappear like treasure-cloud, etc in just a few years.

Easy to use interface and straightforward functionality - I wish all apps were this simple to use.

The interface easy to understand and use. Uploads and downloads are easy and fast and smooth. Overall the cloud drive works great.

I gave Folder Forst a try and have to say it has a pretty decent speed compared to other storage services. Interface is simple and clean, although only the web version is available now, no desktop apps and so on. And unfortunately no computer/folders backup option, hopefully that is in the dev roadmap

FolderFort has been great! I got it about a week ago and have been uploading my pictures and videos at a super fast speed. I have been looking for a good cloud storage that fits my needs for about 6 months now and finally found it. Thanks...
