Would like to thank Rob and the flynavy team for an amazing flight Friday morning from the balloon fiesta. It was my first flight and felt in safe hands was an experience I would never forget with fantastic views. If I had the chance I would fly with them again.

I chose to book a balloon flight with Fly Navy because of the straightforward & pragmatic way Rob works. He is responsive to enquiries & I felt confident about the arrangements. He is very enthusiastic and a pleasure to fly with.

I arranged this experience for my parents. I can’t express how impressed I was by the professionalism of Rob and Guy on the day. They make the whole experience feel so easy and painless. Rob’s duty of care was spot on making sure all are safe whilst handling the balloon and equipment on the ground, through the flight and on returning to the ground.

From the moment I enquired with Rob about availability for booking, through to the actual day of the flight, he kept me well informed of weather and a true likelihood of the flight taking place.

You can see how much care and passion Rob has as an experienced pilot (ex Royal Navy Fast Jet and Commercial Pilot), not only in customer service, but also from the impeccable standards on the day from the presentation of equipment used, safety briefing and the final goodbyes following a successful trip.

Being ex Royal Navy myself it was also great to see the balloon in all its glory.

From the very welcoming Hello at the beginning, to the final goodbye, this was an amazing experience that far exceeded my expectation. The equipment was in excellent condition and the pilot, Rob explained everything that was taking place during the preparation of the balloon, and during the flight. The take off was amazing, and the sensation of standing in the basket whilst gaining height and drifting along over the countryside was surreal, something I will never forget. Rob was full of information about where we were and where we were going and was able to point out places of interest in the distance, and keep us informed about our height and speed. He varied our height from low enough to call out to people on the ground, up to a height that gave us amazing views. When it came time to land, his instructions were clear and precise, and afterwards we were allowed to help with packing away the equipment.
An absolutely magical and fantastic experience that I would recommend to anyone, and which I hope to repeat one day.

I was not prepared for such an amazing experience and don't think I uttered a word for quite a while.
Floating silently along smelling the fresh air and being able to see everything for miles around is such a contrast to flying in an aircraft.
Its so peaceful up there that its difficult to put into words and you will never know how beautiful the English countryside is until you've floated above it in a balloon.
Rob the pilot and the ground crew are amazing!
From the first meeting, to the flight and the very end where they drove us back to our car, we knew we were in safe hands. This is an experience I'll never forget and with hand on heart recommend to all of you.
