I was a little weary about ordering seeing previous reviews but I went ahead as they had one item I wanted that I can't find elsewhere and I don't have a physical store nearby. I had nothing but the best service!
Everything came in a timely manner, all items as described except one had a minor flaw which I reached out to customer service about, they responded the next day and refunded the item in full.
I'd 100% use them again!

Serious Customer Complaint
Hello,
I want to register it’s your company a serious complaint & a horrific experience I had in your shop in Tallagh shopping centre last Saturday afternoon 21/09/24 with two female members of your staff!
I walked into your shop which had no other customers present & no background music was playing & I couldn’t miss over hearing your two female staff members at the till area extremely loudly bad mouthing & complaining about other customers.
They were so loud & nasty in their comments that I said ‘shhhhh’ because I felt so uncomfortable.
Now, I do accept that maybe I shouldn’t have done that but they were so loud & I could hear every word they were saying & it was really quite disturbing.
They both shut up immediately but turned directly towards me & literally continually stared me out, which made me feel even more uncomfortable!
I wanted to leave but my partner had already picked up something as a gift for someone so we went to pay for it at the till.
When there one of your employees literally stared me out & wouldn’t take her eyes of me & (although I tried not too) when I looked at her she said to me ‘what are u looking at. Do u have a problem’?
Now I was furious at both of theyre attitudes & behaviours & I said back at her ‘Do I have a problem? You’re the one who’s looking & staring at me & your just pissed because I said Shhhh to the both of u for badmouthing & nasty comments about other customers’!
Now the other staff member who had taken our purchased & over charged us for a bag that we clearly said we didn’t want piped in saying ‘Ah here, your inappropriate & I want to to leave the shop now’! Then walked away to the back of your shop shouting & waving her ‘talk to the hand’ at me saying she was getting the manager.
My partner wanted to leave at that point but I said no I’m not leaving until I speak to the manager either.
The ‘manager’ came onto the shop floor were she continued to talk to him & obviously inform him of her side of the story before he walk to the till area to me.
I explained to him what happened, he could hardly look me in the eye whilst I was doing so & didn’t say a word, not one word at all!
Because this wasn’t a two way conversation I asked him if he was the actual manager & he said yes & I asked him his name for reference & he told me ‘Dave’ I then asked him for the name of his area manager or line manager & who could I make a formal complaint too.
He told me the only way to complain was to write a letter & drop it into the shop.
I told him that makes no sense whatsoever & that I’ve never in all my 61x years experienced what I’ve just experienced nor have I ever been spoken too in such a disgraceful & disrespectful manner & I will make my complaint but I won’t be ‘dropping a letter’ into the shop at all.
Now, I did say earlier that I admit I maybe shouldn’t have opened my mouth & said ‘Shhhhh’ BUT, that doesn’t give your employees the right to badmouth any of your customers not was it acceptable for them to treat me in such a way. I was so upset & traumatised from their bullying of me that it affected me the rest of the day & still so!
I’m not quite sure what (if anything) you’ll do with this complaint but your company needs to know just how some of your employees behave towards the very customers that keeps your shops in business & how they’re behaviour can affect people!
I’m no child & im a 61yr old man who has had 3x companies of my own & im literally disgusted that people can behave this way in retail & get away with it.
So, to end my long email which I do apologise for but it had to be done, hopefully you will take this onboard & take some action because it completely ruined my shopping experience in Tiger Tallagh & I will never step foot in there ever again!

I ordered 2 navy blue candles, they arrived quickly and well packaged but r we hen I opened them I was so disappointed as they were green!!
I emailed customer support and was promptly blocked! Very very disappointed No resolution

Medium quality but great customer service
In my order there was a mug that ended up having a big crack under the glaze. I contacted customer support who helped really well with my issue. Their customer support is amazing.
I also bought a punch needle kit and I'm extremely disappointed: there isn't enough yarn to do the whole thing. They must have calculated the amount of yarn based on the tension of an experienced person, however this is a kit for beginners. So I'm left with an unfinished product. I'm not gonna contact the customer support about this as it was cheap, but i hope my comment will be taken in consideration.

A lot of standing
I was working there in 2019 and please don't be so harsh for employees, imagine one shift is 8 or 10 hours, all the time standing and walking all the time! The only time you can sit is 30 mins break... Can you imagine? It's unbearable
I love Flying Tiger!
Flying Tiger is one of my favorite shops ! They have everything I need for every 'themed' occasions (holidays, parties, celebrations) and great art and journaling supplies, all at very reasonable prices. I shop at physical stores and online and it's always a pleasure. I only once had a broken light on a light string, I send an email with a picture of the broken item and they emailed back the next day telling me to keep it and gave me my money back. They would have send a replacement but it was out of stock. Overall I always had a good experience.

So I usually have a 5 star experience with tiger, a lot of products at amazing prices and with good quality. However shipping takes quite some time and then last time I ordered a lot of things came broken. I did order mugs and cups which are more at risk of being broken but if you allow me to order such items they should come not broken. It was a birthday gift and then I could only ask for a refund when I really want was a replacement that wasn't offer as well as even if it was it wouldn't come on time.

Not at all happy with the Chelmsford…
Not at all happy with the Chelmsford shop. I want there back.in July. To buy a couple of bits. When I used there self service tills as the payment was going through their system went down. The assistant said to try it again. And that it wouldn't have taken the money. The second time the self service took the money but gave me no receipt due to these technical errors. Today I see I have been charged again for the same amount. So it has took the payment from the first attempt. Now I'm going to have to fight to get my money back. Will definitely not be shopping here again.

Best store EVER!!
I absolutely LOVE Flying Tiger, it has cute themes, snacks and decorations. They have excellent prices, I bought several items for £7!!! The sales are fantastic and I love how the store is set up! I recommend the is amazing Danish store the everyone, and FYI their stationary is the BEST!!

While the products themselves were of decent quality, the returns and refund is turning into a nightmare. One of the products wasn't working and I returned it ages ago. No response and no refund yet.
Latest edit: I managed to get a refund after getting through to the customer service - the lady was very helpful and prompt. It took a while - almost 20 days, but since it did get resolved, I might be tempted to go back to the site!

Excellent Customer Service!
I’ve always loved visiting Flying Tiger shops. They are great fun and great value. I recently saw some china tableware online, ordered it but unfortunately some items arrived broken. I wrote to Customer Services and got a positive response on the same day! I have now reordered these items (with a few extra pieces I fell in love with!) and wrote to Customer Services expressing my concerns re the packaging. Another quick response assuring me that they have spoken to the warehouse on my behalf. I think that’s the measure of a company - how they deal with problems when they arise. Not only are they good at responding to customers, they are also good at keeping their customers informed during the packing and sending process with regular updates. I’m very impressed.
