We love Flying Tiger for their…

We love Flying Tiger for their imaginative products. We have bought many different things, funky unusual baubles for Christmas, wonderful paper decorations for celebrations and funky unusual presents for friends and family.
They deal with orders promptly so delivery is quick (we are in England they are in the Netherlands).
Would recommend.

Never shop online

We love the store and spend lots, shipped online for the sale and it all went downhill. Order 26th December, received an email 30th say 1-2 days. Tracking hasn’t updated so spoke with Yodel who haven’t even received the order. Very very poor service.

AVOID AVOID AVOID

Bought a gift for Christmas however this was not wanted. Wanted to send back as not opened however denied return due to 14 day policy. Avoid if buying as gift as they won’t accept any refund.

I was unhappy that they were unwilling to take this back however I could accept that this is their policy (many other shops provide a Christmas returns policy so I would shop there in future). Since they refused the return I decided to open it up and give it a shot since I wasn’t getting my money back anyway.

The quality of the product was TERRIBLE and broke when I tried to put the pieces together. The balls also went over the bumpers of the product so it actually wasn’t any use. So complete waste of money and will not shop there again.

Yes I did get an email back explaining that this could not be returned as it was outwith the two weeks, therefore issue is not solved

I wouldn't recommend ordering online…

I wouldn't recommend ordering online from them. I ordered on the 7th and received an email on the 9th it had been dispatched. It's now the 23rd and no sign of it. The tracking information disappeared and reappeared saying it left the warehouse on the 18th so no hope of it arriving before Christmas.

Warehouse is in Poland - expect loooong delays

Ordered at 9am on the 17th of December, its now the 21st. I understand that the order may take a little time, however, I still haven't even had any notification that the items are even in transit, or that it even with a courier. Only when you decide you have to contact customer services, do you find the information that the warehouse IS IN POLAND (not even Denmark, so you're not really buying Danish). There is no public facing, real-time customer service. I could not find a phone number, It is one of those dreadful 'send an email and we'll respond at some unspecified points in the future if we can be bothered" jobs. When I filled in the "enquiry form", i got a ticket number by automated email with the following message:

"Thank you for reaching out to us! We have received your case and will strive to respond within ***2-3 WEEKDAYS*** ***from Monday to Friday***.
Please note that we will not be able to respond on December 24th, 25th, and 26th, so delays may occur during this time."

(so I'm emailling on a saturday, weekday one is monday 23rd, they are not working 24th, 25, 26th, weekday 2 would be friday 27th, then its 28th and 29th (a second weekend!) By their own standards they have allowed themselves til Monday 30 December to even respond to my 'enquiry' of 21 Dec as to why I have no tracking info after 4 working days!?

This is bizarre!
they go on to state:

"If your enquiry is about the shipment, please note that the local carrier tracking link will be updated once the order arrives in the country of destination, WHICH CAN TAKE SEVERAL DAYS"

Yeah, we noticed. Might have been good if this was clear before purchase!

I was really frustrated the goods don't come from a UK warehouse, when there are so many stores. This should be clearly flagged before purchase as the reason for the extended delays in fulfilment.

I've inadvertently ordered glass ornaments to be shipped from the far side of Europe - what are the chances they will get here intact and/or before Christmas?

Not least now having read through the responses where other people are receiving broken items, and the response has been something like "yeah we don't package using plastic we only package using PAPER so sometimes this results in breakages". ie they know their practices result in disappointed customers but hey ho who cares about them.

So basically this business don't care of your goods arrive broken after 2 weeks in transit; their ESG score matters more than your customer experience!

I can't comment on staff etc as I haven't been able to interact with any!

I love the goods in flying tiger copenhagen however I despise the unmanned and cashless tills which ruin the whole experience. Looks like I won't order from online again either. What a shame.

** update 28 Dec: received an email on 22 Dec stating the items would be with me in 1-2 days. However, I STILL do not have my parcel, usable tracking number (or any other update at all) or decent response from the business. Really poor. This business has completely dropped the ball this December, letting us all down.

*** Edit, Update: 2 Jan: STILL do not have my parcel. Of the 4 web forms I've had fill in they have responded to a second, which among the cut and paste banalities they thanked me of my patience, ignored my third request to escalate and offered me a 15% discount off my FUTURE order. I still do not have THIS order and after it being promised by Yodel on 31st via live chat, is it STILL not here at 4pm on the 2nd! Yodel's tracking suggests it sat in a warehouse in poland for a full week before even leaving the building in the first instance. This business needs to take ownership of this massive fail.

Edit: 10 Jan: I see Flying tiger have responded to my trustpilot review. I would like to point out that the review was made on Dec 21 and it took them to Jan 10 to respond - must've come back their extended hollybags. You will note there is no reason given - for the readers benefit if not mine - as to why it took more than a fortnight to deliver, the warehose location, or the overwhelmingly negative review on this site. You can make of that whatever you like. I'm not in a hurry to go through that again!

Order not yet received

Ordered several items online on 8 December and received a message a few days later saying my items were 1-2 days away. Still not received them and tracking is very vague. Surprised that the items come from overseas and that there is not a warehouse in the UK despite there being so many stores.

My First Experience Ordering Online from You

I have never ordered through your website, though I have shopped at your store many times. I was first drawn to your store because of the Copenhagen in the title. My grandmother and her family were born in Denmark. We love all things Danish, and I was not disappointed. I recently got out of the hospital and am not able to go shopping yet. I was so happy when I Googled you and there was your website. My first order came quickly; my second order is on its way.

NEVER again online.

Ordered on november 09th, arrived today, november the 14th. That's not 5 days, honey, that's over two weeks.
The package was bruised and battered.

Avoid online! Only shop in store.

Unfortunately this company now uses Yodel. Yodel is the worst delivery company by far, ordered £188 worth of items for Christmas in the sale on the 30th November. The tracking updated on Yodels site saying ready for delivery today 12 December and now it’s saying it’s not possible to deliver the parcel. I’ve contacted flying tiger but it will take 2-3 days for a reply and even longer to get a refund. Such a shame to be let down so close to Christmas.

Ordered my items on the 2nd Dec and it said 6-8 days delivery which to be honest is ridiculous form the start, still no sign and the update is that EVRI are expecting my order. I am a first time custoI would NEVER shop here againmer and this…

I am a first time customer and this will definitely be my last time buying from this company. I placed my order 8 days ago and I am still waiting for my order with no clear timeframe of when (or if) my order will ever arrive. They said it would take 1-2 days. At this point all I want is to cancel my order and get a refund. The customer services feel like an AI robot who does not answer the question. All in all, completely avoid this company and I wish I'd read the reviews beforehand - avoid!

DO NOT ORDER FOR CHRISTMAS

Do not order online for Christmas. you won't have your items in time.
I ordered on the 28th November and the items (less than 10 items) are still marked as "preparing the order".. seven working days to prepare an order? I needed them for an office event on the 13th December and highly doubt I will get them so I will need to spend more money somewhere else. horrible customer service.
if you order now there is NO CHANCE you will get your Christmas presents, beware!

Extremely bad customer service

Extremely bad customer service. I ordered some stuff online on Black friday, and it said I will receive my order on Dec 3-4. Checked order status on december 3rd and my package was well set. At the end of dec 4, I go to check my order status since I didn't receive anything, it shows my order was canceled. I did not cancel my order, I did not receive any call, text, message, email, notification or nothing concerning this "cancellation" that I did not request. When I open live chat to communicate my concerns to a live agent, he immediately disregards any message I wrote and said since the order was cancelled there is nothing that he can do. It was a one sentence response and that's it. But I asked who canceled my order? Why was it canceled? Address is very clear and the same thing I put in all other deliveries, and I was not contacted by anyone on this. To top it all off, they didn't even mention any refund and I have yet to receive any communication about my order being cancelled!!!!! (A refund that I don't want because I ordered my stuff on black friday, and I know for a fact that they are available in store since I checked before and after order was cancelled, and even the store employee told me to order them online because of the discount.). I want my items to arrive, with the price I bought them. absolutely unacceptable. I am traveling and was hoping to get them before I go, but with this extremely unprofessional customer service, I don't know what will happen. This is actually the first and last time I order from here, and even after I communicated what was wrong they brushed it off by saying they will "take it up with the respective team". I used to visit the store so so so much and loved all the stuff, but honestly this online experience has been the worst experience I have ever had. Very disappointed and will not shop again, but I will still follow up with my order no matter what.

Went in to Flying Tiger in Whiterose…

Went in to Flying Tiger in Whiterose today. Couldn't find any staff to help with what I was looking for. However as I walked around the back corner, there were all the staff. They were clearly talking about another store and how bad all the staff are. Slagging off the manager and discussing how poorly the store is being run. What a bad reflection on the company!!!! I left without a purchase as they clearly weren't interested in customers.
