If you like ants this is the place for…

If you like ants this is the place for you! There were a couple running around when we first arrived, but the big surprise was that they were on the beds...that the kids were sleeping on. Unfortunately the kids didn't feel excited about it. The owner couldn't believe it and actually asked for proof when we called to tell them. However the next day, on return from our day out, we found a can of ant spray in our bedroom. To get rid of them. Therefore they must have believed us when they saw the pictures. Apparently ants don't like peppermint so we gently discouraged them using this.

Apart from that excitement the two bedroom flat was a good size. Only one sofa so a bit uncomfortable and we didn't realise it was a basement flat. The bars on the windows and lack of natural light was also a bit uncomfortable. We entered through a gate at the back of the property which opens straight onto a metal staircase that leads down to the door.

There wasn't much going on in the kitchen, no dish towel or kitchen roll, no chopping board or tea pot, or even a milk jug. Yet what was there, six of everything, was clean and new.

The bathroom and ensuite were fine. The ants used the main bathroom. Unfortunately there was no plug in the bath. This meant the kids could only shower, not a major issue.

I slept well in the adult bedroom bed, although the ants only visited on the morning we were leaving so perhaps that helped. Being down low perhaps makes it quieter, but not on bin day as there is another metal staircase at the bedroom window where the binmen come early.

The location is very good. It's around Draycott Place so we were just by King's Road and lots of interesting shops and food places.

The apartment wasn't really for me, I found it disappointing and a bit stressful since I didn't really want to be there. However, these things might not bother everyone.

Great location

Great location. Well appointed Flat just off Kings Road and easy walking distance of Sloane Square and the tube station. Clean, comfortable and good value. Would definitely stay here again

The apartment was lovely and modern…

The apartment was lovely and modern with everything I could possibly need. Very clean and the bed was very comfortable. I felt very safe travelling alone staying here with the automatic door locking system and the door codes to the entrance and corridors. Communication was great with hosts via WhatsApp, and I would definitely book again.

Apartments lovely but faulty door mechanism meant check in and check out very stressful

Once you get inside the apartments are lovely, well appointed, clean and quiet.

However, the faulty electronic door code mechanism meant the check-in process and first three hours of our stay while we were communicating with Viridian's service team to get it solved, and the check-out process where we could not get back into the unit to return the emergecy access key were very stressful.

We were told by staff on site that this is not an uncommon problem with these mechanisms, so hopefuly Viridian will change these locks soon, in which case we would happily return.

Viridian's service response process could also be improved: 2 of the 3 hours stressful check-in hours were because their response appeared geared around proving that we were incompetent guests, rather than believing their mechanism was faulty. Once the maintenance man did arrive, he was able to solve the lock problem by removing the mechanism completely so that we could use a conventional 'emergency' key.

The following day Viridian sent messages (presumably automated) to ask if our check in process had gone smoothly ...
No kind offer of compensation received to date.

Flat 4 Sloan Avenue

Check-in was great with key entry. Apartment was also very clean and well furnished. The apartment did not have an ironing board and the heating was set to 18 degrees maximum, so we could not turn up the heating in the evenings and mornings. The heater provided was not great. The overall apartment was great.

Booked my stay in January and stayed…

Booked my stay in January and stayed right up intill close to the end of March! This explains how much I enjoyed my stay here, they provide every daily essential you’ll need, washer dryer, fresh towels weekly, full kitchen utensils , blow dryer, ironing board with iron & so on! It felt like I was at home. The staff accommodated my every need & were extremely warm and attentive- Alisha Hallum was a God send, she went above and beyond to accommodate my needs and extended kindness beyond her job role to me! She added so much warmth to my time here . The team at Viridian are lucky to have her :) I’ll be visiting nowhere else but here when next I’m in London.

Fantastic Location also, every supermarket you need is a 5 or less minute walk so convenience adds to the perks of staying here!

Thanks to the team again &Hopefully I’ll be back one day! :)

Maidenhead location - Decent but not great

A few items to note - the second key within the flat was very clearly broken (the tip of one of the keys was snapped off), the WiFi did not reach one of the bedrooms and was incredibly slow, and the thermostat was stuck at 25 degrees so it was too hot to sleep properly without a fan and the windows open.
Otherwise it was ok. Nothing special to write home about but not terrible.

Customer service was the best customer…

Customer service was the best customer service I’ve ever had in the hotel/hospitality industry in Europe full stop!!! The way the staff answer the phone IMMEDATELY I wasn’t on hold for longer than 1-2 minutes before I got through to someone , I rang up on Friday evening with something that needed to be fixed in the bathroom and within 12 hours a handyman was at the door and fixed it STRAIGHT away and was so so kind and quick and efficient. The property was spotless too and genuinely can’t recommend enough as someone who travels often I’m happy I came across this company as I usually book hotels and not apartments but will 11110% be booking here again!!!

A good night's stay.

Stylish, well-equipped, 2-bedroom apartment in a very pleasant area beside the River Thames. Ideal for visiting Kew Gardens, with frequent buses and rail link to the rest of London. Very secure with keyless entries to the grounds, building and apartments. The beds are very comfortable - we had a great night's sleep. Would stay here again.

Nice clean - modern and close to amenities

Nice clean, close to the center and opposite Waitrose a plus. All the mod cons and a modern apartment instead of the usual Victorian mess the Brits like to call character. Only downside the Wi-fi was extremely slow.

Queens Park - Very quiet and spacious!

We stayed in Queens Park Viridian and enjoyed our stay. The rooms were clean and spacious. It had everything we needed. The staff were so attentive and responded quickly to all our needs. The area is in a quiet neighbourhood and very close to shops and restaurants. I would highly recommend staying here and would stay here again in the future.

Absolutely terrible Internet and…

Absolutely terrible Internet and television reception
We were told by one of your workmen that he would sort an outside aerial, he didn't, we were told that he would tell his manager, he didn't. I sent photographs of the television screen showing the interference. After this ,we were told how dreadful it was ,nothing happened. Then after writing in and saying that the Internet connection needed looking at. This was after a professional had looked at the connection, nothing happened.
Your staff are not helpful.
I am not sure of the dates. We stayed in your appointment from April 2025 to March 2026

I had a last minute emergency and while friendly unfortunately no compromise was found.

I had an issue and was not able to attend, it was fairly last minute so I accepted it was my fault and would need to pay a cancellation fee, unfortunately it was the entire cost of the stay.

I asked if there was anything to be done and while the customer service were quick to respond and friendly unfortunately they did not provide any real help.

I fully appreciate that this was in line with the terms and conditions but even a small discount would have left me happy and the room able to be rented to a new occupant both parties satisfied.

Going above and beyond and using common sense is what separates 5* companies from the rest.
