Trible charging for bags I already paid for and making separate check-in with double payment for a package flight

I booked a flight package with two flights (both FlyBondi) and added carry-on luggage so that I could bring both of my bags (personal item+carry-on bag) to the cabin. When checking in for the first flight they wanted to weigh my bag without specifying whether it was the personal item or the carry-on. I supposed it was the carry-on bag, they weighed it and charged me 24$. I was surprised as I was pretty sure both bags were within the weigh limit, but I paid. After paying I realized they had applied the personal item weight limit to my carry on bag and that was why they charged me. The lady behind the counter didn't speak very well English so I didn't abide to complain. After going through security I realized she only had given us 1 out of 2 boardingpasses. So when arriving in the second airport I had to check-in and go through security again. This time was even worse service: The lady behind the counter concluded both bags were within the weigh limits but she charged me 24$ anyways as she claimed I had not paid for bringing a carry-on bag to this flight. That is kind of absurd since I bought the flights as a package and added carry-on-luggage when booking the flight. That is really messing with peoples confidene! Furthermore she charged 4$ for checking us in claiming that we should have done it on the internet at least 4 hours before. That doesn't make sence to claim as I hadn't recieved any mail warning me of this. And it is even weirder since the lady at the first flight didn't charge this.

Avoid as much as possible

I booked a 3-day trip. They cancelled my flight back a week before my first flight and told me I had to call to ask for alternative options. It wasn't possible to do it online. I tried calling for 3 days, but it was simply impossible. The voice message instructed me to try again, it didn't even allow me to join a waiting list. I was forced to book a return ticket with Aerolineas Argentinas and request a refund (that was the only option available online). A month later, I still haven't received my refund nor any communication from them.
The airline is fine when everything works perfectly (flight, plane, staff), but if something goes wrong (and it seems that extremely frequent with them), they don't offer any support at all. Even if you're lucky enough to contact them, their flights are limited, so they won't be able to offer many options.
Their prices are often a fraction of what they cost with AA, but you're taking a risk. I recommend not taking this risk unless there's a huge difference in price or if you have very flexible travel plans.

------------------------------------------------------------

They changed our airport last minute

They changed our airport last minute, despite a connection. There was another airline flying that would have gotten us there on time and they flat out refused to rebook us. They told us there would be a free transfer between airports, as we were in a huge rush to catch out connecting flight, but when we landed there was nothing and we had to pay for an uber. Flybondi is the worst. If I could give 0 stars, I would without hesitation. They had multiple employees we spoke to who told us they do these shady changes all the time. Apparently its all par for the course.

Read the negative reviews and still…

Read the negative reviews and still booked with Flybondi, thinking that the bad experiences were probably statistically low. Now that we have taken 3/3 flights, I can confirm each single one of them was a problem. Delays, rebooked on a different flight without warning, had to pay twice for cabin luggage...the range of bad service is huge. Will never EVER fly with them again. This is THE worst airline I have ever experienced, would give zero stars if possible.

Dismal.

Dismal.

I booked 4 flights with FlyBondi via Kiwi.com and ALL were rescheduled. One of the flights was re-scheduled at a time the company knew I would not make, due to the short connection time.

After 2 hours of arguing with them, they initiated the cancellation with Kiwi, but didn’t give them all the info so they could process the refund.

Then, they re-scheduled my flight from Mendoza to Buenos Aires by 4hrs.

I had to buy separate tickets with Aerolineas Argentinas to be able to continue my journey.

A joke of a company, I’m not even attempting to try and claim a refund, as the staff was downright rude as well.

Flybondi: Disaster

I bought a ticket for a short trip to Córdoba. I live in Miami, I have family and friends in Mendoza and I had just a couple of days to do some things in Córdoba before returning to the United States.

Flybondi simply canceled my Córdoba - Mendoza flight on January 17 and rescheduled it for January 22.

They didn't care about my times or my schedules. I had to buy my return flight to Mendoza on Aerolíneas Argentinas.

Now I'm trying to get my money back from Flybondi. First and last time. I do not recommend it at all.

Flight changed with incorrect notice

We had purchased a flight on Kiwi.com that was with Flybondi. We arrived for our flight to find out that it had left 12 hours earlier and we had been notified incorrectly about the itinerary change (we were told it was departing at 17:45 but it actually left this morning at 5:45am from a different airport. We ended up finding out that it was the fault of Kiwi.com who misinformed us of the change. However, the customer service rep from Flybondi was far from empathetic (I'm guessing because he deals with this all the time). After reading more reviews we see that it is quite common for them to cancel flights or change them to completely different airports or times. Be aware and be sure to check their website to confirm the actual flight. I can't actually speak to the flight since we didn't end up flying with them, but I changed my original 1-star review after discovering that it was kiwi.com's fault.

Wish I had read the reviews

Wish I had read the reviews! Flybondi cancelled our flight, then offered a voucher that took 3 weeks to arrive, too late for us to use so we went twice to 2 different airports for a refund. Their desk is designed for maximum discomfort it seems to me. We had to bend over to a low window at waist height to hear their staff tell us lies. We missed our planned trip to Bariloche and spent 30 hours on buses returning to BA. This airline could ruin your holiday, beware. Never again. We didn't get a refund. They said our circumstances had never happened before so no option of a refund.

Do NOT use this airline

Do NOT use this airline. We booked 4 different flights with FlyBondi for domestic flights in Argentina (before reading the reviews). They changed the departure times for all 4 flights at the last minute. The only reason we found out about the changed times was because the intermediate informed us of the changes. FlyBondi didn't inform us about anything. And the worst part: 1 flight was cancelled 20 hours before departure!!! We were staying at Iguazu at the time (the jungle) and couldn't leave. Our intermediate booked us new flights with another airline. We had to buy new expensive ticktes while FlyBondi cancelled the flights without explanation. They are not responding to any emails or messages. Worst airline ever.

One of the worst airlines I’ve had the displeasure of dealing with…

We booked through Kiwi and when they changed the time and airport of the flight we didn’t get notified. They made us wait 45 minutes before attempting to resolve the issue. We had to pay extra to get on a flight the next morning. They tried to check us in and couldn’t so asked me to do it at home instead. The website doesn’t work and despite typing in our emails to be sent the boarding passes nothing came through. Do not fly!

Scammers

Scammers. I had under-seat luggage fitting the description on the company's webpage listed as free, but they still charged me.

Just don’t.

Our luggage didn’t make it on the plane and we had to wait 48 hours to get it. What made it worse was that they kept telling us it would arrive soon, so we had to spend the whole time inside waiting for something that kept not arriving. Communication was poor and customer service was rude.

Pay the extra money and use another airline.

Don’t loose your luggage as you won’t get it back!

Cheap flights and left on time but the planes are so old, everything was falling apart in side. Also I left a bag on the plane (luckily with nothing valuable in it), but I wasn’t allowed back to get it and was told they would check for it but that “these things get stolen easily”. Saw a member of staff walk past the window with the bag and then, after waiting for 45 mins, I was told they couldn’t find it! Just don’t lose your luggage with this airline!

They changed my arrival airport!!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS

They changed my arrival airport! Only notified by email 12 hours before departure. Refused a refund, or any type of compensation and just stated that they can change the details of the flight if required. I even had a connecting flight with them which I would miss, so I had to buy a ticket from another airline. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!

Worst airline ever

Worst airline ever. If you can, avoid it. Airplanes are old and noisy. I bought tickets 4 times with them, had problems 3 times. They change the airports, times and even days of departure, and their website is a scam: once you click on the e-mail with the check-in notification, it is automatically confirmed and you cannot buy any extras, so you're forced to pay 100% more at the airport in case you carry a suitcase.

Scam airline. AVOID!!!

They CHANGE DEPARTURE AIRPORT no notifications what so ever. Had a flight from Buenos Aires, only upon arrival at the airport we get informed that the flight was moved to the other airport 30 kilometers and 1 hour away. This happens all the time with them! AVOID AT ALL COST!

Do Not Fly With this Airline if you want a good experience.

We had the unpleasant experience of Flying with this Cheap and Nasty Airline on November 3rd 2022 from Buenos Aires to Ushuaia. We were given Boarding Passes with ALLOCATED SEATS, we sat in those seats only to be moved by the Flight Crew just before takeoff as someone else also had been allocated the same seats. We were moved right to the rear of the plane and separated.
But the real problem started when we arrived in Ushuaia and a suitcase did not appear on the carousel. We reported it and went on our way. 14 Days later we returned to the Airport, checked again but the suitcase was still lost. FLYBONDI accepted liability and agreed to pay the equivalent of 370USD or 58430.4 PESOs in Compensation. As we are not ARGENTINIAN Citizens they WILL NOT PAY as they only pay into Argentinian Bank accounts. They accept payment in foreign currency but will not pay out in foreign currency.
They are a CHEAP and NASTY Airline who we will never again fly with and Cannot recommend in anyway.
Latest Update, 25th March 2023. Only through the persistence of our Argentinian Travel agent we have finally received compensation for the Lost Luggage. Payment made to our agents Argentinian Bank and they transferred it straight to us. Still cannot understand why Fly Bondi could not have done this, obviously they work on the fact that most foreign Travellers don't have an Argentinian connection so can't be paid. WOULD STILL ADVISE DO NOT FLY WITH FLY BONDI there is no way we could recommend this horrible airline.
