Worst Ponzi scheme in MX

I’m giving this one star based on repeated negative experiences.

The first time I used the Flyback program, I eventually received payment—but it took 8 months, which is far outside what was promised. The second time, I never received payment at all, despite submitting everything as instructed.

What’s most frustrating is how the process seems designed to work against you. The requirements are overly complicated, frequently change, and give them multiple opportunities to deny or delay claims. This isn’t just my experience—many others report long delays, claim denials, and inconsistent rules.

Customer service only adds to the frustration. Emails are met with vague responses and assurances that payment is “being processed,” but nothing ever materializes.

We submitted another claim recently, and now it’s been four months with no update or payment.

At best, this program is extremely unreliable. At worst, it feels intentionally structured to avoid paying out.

I regret purchasing this and would strongly caution others to think twice before getting involved.

Beware Flyback Contracts

Scam through Unlimited Vacation Club offering. Math pencils out upon signing if the legal terms are followed by Flyback, but they are not.
1. OWNER and/or USER agrees to send all the required documents within the next 45 days of the boarding date, and OWNER understands that this must be electronically received by FBGS by uploading them at [website link]. Failure to comply with this 45 days reception period will cause forfeit of the airfare benefit for that year. ------they will not tell you of any issues until after the 45-day period and will not return emails or calls, with calls to the provided phone number normally routing to an option that automatically disconnects. I was able to talk with them just once over the years. You will get a notification that an email was received, but may wait two months to respond, which for one year cost me my redemption.
2. FBGS agrees to review the documents within 7 days after the reception date and to notify via email to OWNER or USER if the documents are complete and valid for the redemption claim. ---- as an example, this year I submitted my claim by October 31, and still have not received an email as of March 5.
3. FBGS agrees to send payment to OWNER by check or wire transfer within 60 days after FBGS has confirmed and validated all the requirements mentioned in this agreement. Once all documents have been properly fulfilled and FBGS has sent payment, OWNER understands that FBGS must receive confirmation of the reception of the funds within 30 days of receiving them. Failure to do so will cause forfeit of the airfare benefit for the following year. ----- unfortunately, there appears to be no time frame as to when they confirm and validate the documents, which apparently for them is not the same requirement as #2 of checking within 7 dates of receipt of documents whether they are valid for the claim.
4. FBGS agrees to pay $500 USD reimbursement (does not include shipping and handling) one time every calendar year for the next 10 consecutive years to the OWNER if such travel has been done by flight to any of the AMResorts hotels. The 10 years will start 12 months after this program has been activated.
-------My rate of return math did not incorporate that they would charge $39 to send the $500 refund to both me and my wife, with sending a check being even more expensive. My mistake is that I had worked in a Treasury department and know that the wire costs much less than that.
5. OWNER agrees that in the event legal action arises in connection with this agreement, the successful party shall recover from the other, responsible and actual legal costs and attorney’s fees as governed by the state of Quintana Roo, Mexico. ----should I really trust the Mexican government on legal issues, and not expect that Flyback would charge an exorbitant amount of legal fees?

Flyback is a joke - not worth the frustrations

When we purchased Flyback at our home resort (TEMPTATION CANCUN) We were told obnce we submitted our documents for proof of travel, we would receive our flyback redemption within 60 days. This is a lie! When you read the contract closely, they require you submit within 45 days of travel, and then they have received AND validated that all requirements were met. It is taking well over 9-12 months to receive payment AND they find ways to nitpick so they don't have to pay you. Fort example...We provided our address to "send a check" and they said we didn't provide them the method in which we wanted to receive the redemption. Same thing happened with friends of ours. It's not worth the headaches & frustration. If I could score them a ZERO I would.

Run away from Fly Back

I agree with the previous review, this company isn’t transparent or sincere in providing the benefits they advertise when they sign you up. Their information is difficult to find and it seems intentional. They communicate minimally with form letters and looking for reasons to deny your submissions. This feels like a scam and until they meet one of their commitments to me, I can’t believe otherwise.

Zero trust and total scam. The force people to adhere to strict timelines or risk default on benefits yet they still have not refunded our Aug 2025 trip benefits despite twice confirming no further action required from us to complete their review. And in case you were wondering what they “review” that’s their way of saying we are going to look ok for loophole NOT to provide your refund benefits despite complying with program rules.

I have the exact same issues as everyone else. The first reimbursement went smoothly but, after that all hell fell through. They really do not want to pay. They waited for 2 days before the expired timeframe after i submitted everything 2 days after we came home and it was for a document (a letter of good standing) that they I needed that was not in the original contract. I submitted it right away within timeframe and still nothing.......Is there a group Lawsuit that we can be part of because I know we are not the only ones angry....

LIARS | UNTRUSTWORTHY | DO NOT BUY!!!!!!!

ZERO STARS!!!!

Me and my Husband purchased 2 x 10 Year FLYBACKS in April 2019 alongside our Exotic Membership - we couldn’t redeem the first 2020 FlyBack due to the known travel restrictions but 2021 -2023 was paid within the 60 days from validation and all seems fairly smooth (one they tried to get out of but I provided proof)

Since filing 2024 - everything changed!
We have been waiting almost 2 YEARS!! For them to pay out - and now have 2025 we are waiting for also - we have received numerous BS emails that constantly change timeframes - just fobbing us off - then in June 2025 we were told we had to sign a ‘one time exemption’ for my husbands Flyback to be paid into my bank account - never a problem in previous years - but we spoke on the phone and signed it - they said payment would be imminent and when asked - that the delay was due to having so many more customers (BS!!) - our FLYBACKS have now been stuck in ‘the final stages - included in the list of payment issuance to our financial operator‘ since July 2025!!

I have sent over 35 emails since 2024 with the same robotic replies going round in circles - no name of contact and no real person interested in resolving this - I don’t know what’s happened but it has become such a frustration! They also change the terms of their contract without any notice yet are in breach of it themselves!

Will be making a formal complaint to PROFECO

100% a Scam

100% a Scam. The Fives Beach Resort in Mexico sold us Flyback Certificates to us as part of membership program, and we sincerely regret it. We will never get our money back from this poor investment. Flyback gives you 45 days to submit documentation, but if there is anything wrong with it, they will not tell you until after 45 days and then say you can't get your payback check. They are always adding new requirements that are purposely vague or unprovable, as a coordinated unethical way to put you out of compliance, so they don't have to pay. Recently, they are now demanding a "Letter of Good Standing" which is a document that doesn't actually exist and the resort membership organizations (eg: Prestige/Exotic) don't provide or know anything about this new requirement. There is nothing in the Flyback contract that mentions this made-up document. The Mexican government should initiate an investigation against them, and invite every innocent consumer who has purchased a Flyback Certificate to join a class action lawsuit. I highly recommend you do NOT purchase a flyback membership as part of a vacation club negotiation. Trust me, you will regret it, and likely never recoup your investment. Resorts like the Fives in Mexico should know better after reading the hundreds of poor reviews from other customers and stop using this scam as a way to sell their memberships. Everyone who has purchased Flybacks should file a compliant with PROFECO (Mexico's Consumer Protection Agency) and the ICPEN's on their respective websites. Applying enough collective pressure will hopefully resolve this scam.

Update: Looks like there is a group working to get a class action lawsuit going against Flyback... search for it on Google.

Flyback are not fulfilling their contract obligations with their customers

We are members of exotic/prestige since 2011, and then we purchased the fly back program in 2014. For 9 years fly backs always paid us back, with the exception of the year 2024, and 2025. We were denied payment due to a new requirement about a letter of “status of membership” not being sent out by us in the time frame of 45 days allowed. In November 2024 we claimed our flyback and We were told that all documents were received and we were going to receive our money on the last quarter of the 2025. Which I thought strange, because it was too far away, but I trusted them because they always came through with the payment. Then in June 2025, we claimed our flybacks again for a new trip we made, and then in September 2025 we were told that we would not get paid because we didn’t submit the “club status membership letter” that we didn’t know about. So they waited until my second trip was over to informed us about the missing letter that was required! We have been loyal costumers for over a decade and now we are being treated like a sac of garbage. There is no accountability on their part what so ever. They violate the terms of the flyback contract over and over, and whenever they decide not to pay, they say that because we didn’t follow the requirements of the contract! It is so ironic on their part to use the “ requirement card” of the contract whenever they want, but there is no accountability on their part when the violate the contract. The contract states, that fly back has 7 days from the day they received all the documents to inform the client if there is any missing information, and they didn’t do that. Also, the contract states that flyback has to send payment 60 days after the documents are validated and all the requirements were fulfilled, and they never do! We always receive payment after 6 or 8 months. Please do not fall victim to flybacks! They are definitely running out of money and don’t want to pay! We are definitely putting a complaint with PROFECO,

It’s a scam, run away.

You pay $1000 per certificate upfront, and the first time you submit for reimbursement, it goes smoothly. After that, they make up excuses why you can't be reimbursed, even though you followed the exact same process as before. Had to fill out an extra form after they sat on my original claim for 3 months. I traveled in March, it’s now September, I still haven’t been paid.
They don't communicate, they don't update the claim status on their website. Sorry I was suckered into this scam.
User's recommendation: Run Away Fast.

⚠️ Warning: Flyback Mexico is a Total Scam ⚠️

I don’t usually write reviews, but what I experienced with Flyback Mexico was so outrageous that people need to know the truth. This company is nothing more than a bait-and-switch operation. They make big promises about refunds, vouchers, and smooth travel arrangements, but the second they have your money, they vanish.
• Zero transparency – They never deliver what they advertise, and the few responses you might get from them are vague, evasive, or flat-out lies.
• No accountability – Try to get a refund? Forget it. Customer service is nonexistent. It’s like shouting into a void.
• Predatory tactics – They reel you in with flashy deals, then trap you in endless fine print and stall tactics until you give up.

At this point, I consider every dollar I spent with Flyback Mexico stolen. This isn’t just bad service — it feels like an organized scam designed to exploit customers and disappear once they’ve drained your wallet.

Do not fall for this company. Save yourself the headache, the stress, and the financial loss. Flyback Mexico is a scam, plain and simple.

Beware: Fly-Back Benefit is a Scam – Loyal Members Denied Payment

I have been an Exotic Travelers / Karisma Prestige member since 2017, fully paid upfront in cash through the end of my contract. For years I received the Fly-Back benefit ($2,000 USD per year) without issue — until now.

In 2025, despite submitting all required documents on July 11, 2024 (with proof of submission by email) and receiving written confirmation of approval, the company refused to pay. Instead, they created shifting and invented requirements, such as a “Good Standing Letter” that was never part of the process in prior years. Even worse, after confirming my payment, they walked it back.

This is not an isolated problem. Many members are reporting the same treatment:

Delays for months on end.

Contradictory and misleading explanations.

Retroactive “requirements” that appear only after approval.

This is bad faith business practice and a breach of contract. I am now filing a complaint with PROFECO (Mexico’s consumer protection agency) and providing evidence to Canadian and U.S. consumer protection agencies.

⚠️ If you are considering joining Exotic Travelers / Karisma Prestige, be warned: their promises are not being honored. Loyal, fully paid members are being denied benefits through excuses and retroactive conditions.

Total scam

Total scam! Our trip was a year ago May. All the documents were submitted, received and approved with promise of payment in the first quarter of this year. After multiple follow-ups, still no payment. Now they are requesting personal banking information to wire transfer our payment which I am not at all comfortable in providing them. At this juncture, I have no hope of receiving our payment. I urge you to avoid any dealings with them and warn others. This is totally unacceptable!

10 Months and Still No Refund – Now They're Retaliating for Filing a Complaint

I submitted all required documentation to Flyback in July 2024 for a $500 USD rebate for both my wife and I, as part of their advertised travel program. On September 25, 2024, they confirmed via email that my refund had been approved and would be processed in Q4 of that year.

Since then, I've been given nothing but copy-paste replies and excuses. After 9+ months of waiting and receiving the same “we’re waiting on the financial institution” response, I filed a formal complaint with PROFECO (Mexico's federal consumer protection agency).

Shortly after that filing, Flyback called me directly to say they are now stopping my payment process until the PROFECO complaint is resolved. This is outrageous and feels like retaliation for exercising my legal rights.

What began as a delayed payment is now a red flag for possible fraud or financial hardship within the company. If Flyback or Premier Experience claims this is a government-backed program (as they told me during the sales process), that is simply not true.

Until they fulfill their obligation, I strongly urge others to avoid this program entirely. I will continue sharing my experience on public platforms so others don’t fall into the same situation.
