Great price, good service, sub-par delivery

Perhaps the best price on the market. Good customer service. Unfortunately their courier is much to be desired. After chasing throughout the day, only got confirmation of expected delivery 1 hour prior to the delivery.
Customer service was very helpful & pleasant to talk to.

I called flooring King to get…

I called flooring King to get additional details on some vinyl I liked. When the man answered my call I said, "Hi , I'm interested in vinyl." He said, I don't take payments over the phone. I went silent for a few seconds, I felt he was annoyed I called. I lost track of my questions and gave up.

Thought I'd try email. Asked my questions, sent a floor plan, asked if my calculations were correct. Got a quote back, nothing else. I've emailed twice since and have been ignored!

Seems I've wasted over a week trying to get information only to be ignored and made to feel I've annoyed them! I can't imagine what it would be like if I had a problem with an order!

We are sorry to hear that you were unhappy with your experience. However, having reviewed both the telephone call and email correspondence, we feel it is important to clarify a few points for anyone reading your review.

Firstly, we strongly disagree with the suggestion that our advisor was dismissive or annoyed by your call. We have listened to the conversation internally and can confirm that this was not the case. As part of our company policy, we do not take payments over the phone, and this is routinely explained to customers. At no point was your enquiry treated as an inconvenience.

We would also like to clarify that none of your emails were ignored. Our records show that we responded to your enquiries, answered the questions we were able to assist with, reviewed the floor plan you supplied, calculated the material requirements, and provided a quotation accordingly.

Some of the questions raised related to fitting and installation considerations that would ultimately need to be answered by a qualified flooring installer rather than a supply-only retailer. Nevertheless, we did our best to assist and provide guidance where possible.

Whilst we fully appreciate that you may have been looking for more detailed advice, we do not believe it is fair to state that your enquiries were ignored or that you were left without assistance, as this is simply not reflected in our records.

We are particularly disappointed by the suggestion that customers would struggle to receive support after ordering. Flooring King has an established aftersales team and thousands of satisfied customers who have received assistance both before and after purchase.

Items Advertised for Sale but Not in Stock

Shortly after making an order online I was told the items were not currently available. At least payment was refunded promptly but it's not cool to advertise items for sale when you don't actually have them to sell...

Absolutely shocking service

Absolutely shocking service. Our delivery was scheduled for Thursday, yet on Friday -only after we called - we were told there was a “problem with the order” and it might be sent next Tuesday so anither week before delivery. Nobody bothered to contact us about any delay or issue. Completely unacceptable and disgraceful customer service. I would not recommend Flooring King to anyone.

Excellent customer service

Chose Flooring King for the great prices, was pleased to find they also have super helpful phone support for questions. Also had a query on timings for the delivery as had had no contact from the delivery company on the morning - on the phone they quickly came back to me with an expected 30 minute time slot which was spot on.

I had a few damaged items in my order, and everything was handled quickly and professionally. Scott kept me updated throughout, arranged replacements, helped with additional parts, and made sure everything arrived safely.
