Sabre F5k glider. Purchased mid-Nov '24, delivered mid-Mar '25. These are made to order and sent from Ukraine so this amount of time seems reasonable. What arrived was a sturdy plywood box with all the pieces snugly packed inside. I specified model with servos, motor and esc fitted, only needed installing receiver and battery.
The model itself is a stunning piece of work, extremely well made, great finish and fitment of parts together is to a fine tolerance. I used a Spektrum AR6610T receiver and the recommended Tattu 550mAh 2S battery (80mm long). When fitted end to end, they take up exactly the amount of room available under the hatch between the motor and the fuse mounted servos for the tail feathers. Needed 4 1/2 grams of weight behind the motor to get the recommended COG. Quick and easy to assemble at the field.
This is my first high performance glider and it is far more capable than I am, couple of flights in 15 - 20+k wind has shown the small cross-section has no trouble penetrating the breeze. It is very forgiving of a relative novice's control inputs. Can get numerous ascents off a single charge (I reckon on 6-8). Worth every cent and I look forward to improving my skills with help from this little beauty.

My kit was perfect in every way. The laser cutting was as good as any I have seen. The plans are impeccable.

Gene refunded my money during the factory relocation time and then reinstated my order and delivered the glider as per my specs. I trust Gene now after all the extra effort he put into delivering the glider to Canada.

This is my second order from Flightpoint. Just like the first order, kits were packaged well and shipped promptly. I'm a Shaka guy (Flying Wing Nerd) who is fortunate to have a slope and flatlands, so I have powered and slope versions. FlightPoint has well designed, beautiful models, most are out of my price range; I would like to see more "value" priced options. Thanks for the great kits.

I bought a "B" grade Shaka kit, very inexpensive. Couple of parts needed some extra cutting, Everything fit perfect. Super fast assembly. All of the parts together in a day. This is AMAZING. It has to be one of the most well thought out kits I have built. Fastidious like '80s Tamia RC car kits. What a value.
