I would rate zero stars if possible

I would rate zero stars if possible. Booked a total of 9 flights on our big trip and the only things that ever went wrong were with our flight center bookings. To start, after making a small mistake on my name. Flight center offered to fix it if I paid one and a half times the price I originally paid on to of the original price. When we rejected that option latam took care of it in the airport in 10 minutes for free. Then on two of the next 3 flights they offered no boarding pass for my girlfriend (booked together) and she spent about 3 hours on the phone trying to resolve with no resolution. Again the airlines helped at the airport but we couldn't choose her seats ahead of time so we couldn't book seats together. Every time there was a problem trying to use the airlines online sites, we found it was because we booked through flight center. Never again

Disgusting business ethics

Disgusting business ethics. Quoted me $650 for flights which were $300 direct of Virgin because I was using a $370 credit I held with them which had a clause requiring the new flight fees to be higher not including their additional booking fees??

Warning

Warning ! Don’t ever book with flight centre don’t ever buy flexi tickets it’s a scam. You waste the extra money as they can’t accommodate you. They have no way to change as it is up to the airline if they do or not flight centre can’t guarantee anything. Also most customer service people English is not first language 3 hours on the phone with someone who had no idea what I was asking

Recently

Recently, we had booked a flight from Bengaluru to Sydney, with a stop in Singapore Changi airport, via Singapore airlines. On flight centre, we had found a flight for 4500 AUD for a family. The flight we had booked from Bengaluru to Singapore was Singapore airlines, but the flight from Singapore to Sydney had been booked by scoot, a budget, uncomfortable airliner operated by Singapore airlines. It had told us this AFTER we had paid, with no sign of scoot anywhere when booking the flight in flight centre, and we had to pay the full price, as if it was two Singapore airlines flights!
We tried customer support, and they were no help, we waited for two hours, and nothing.
Never use travel agencies, book from the airliner itself, very disappointing flight centre.

Dont book online

Based on my experience, I can’t recommend booking through Flight Centre’s online platform. After completing my vacation booking, I did not receive any confirmation. I made multiple calls, stayed on hold, and left callback numbers, but no one responded.

I then emailed their web bookings support and was informed they could not assist and was given another number to call. Unfortunately, the same issue occurred again—no response despite leaving my contact information and waiting on the line.

After four days, someone finally returned my call. He was helpful and escalated the matter to his supervisor, Brian Fraser, who also assisted. It was only because of their intervention that I chose not to cancel the transaction.

However, the difficulty in accessing support after payment has significantly reduced my confidence in their online booking service. Given how time-sensitive travel issues can be, I would not book through Flight Centre online again. If support is this hard to reach after payment, I don’t feel confident they would be dependable when plans change or problems arise.

Tramps and Thieves

I recently was unfortunate enough to have dealings with The Flight Centre I googled Emirates whom I normally fly with and was given a phone number on line which turned out to be The Flight Centre I wanted to stay in Dubai then Bangkok and then onto Chiangmai the issue was I thought was dealing with Emirates Flight Centre and I have paid double what I should have paid, my friend and his wife flew from Dublin which is way further than my flight start point of Newcastle upon Tyne and paid the same for return flights as I did for one way and they will stay in the hotel in Dubai on the return journey too.
Being a 72-year-old pensioner and not really very computer literate therefore I may have been easier to scam.
I have now raised the matter with Saleha Bagum the lady that I dealt when making the initial booking with and basically been fobbed off, I am now going to start a fight through the courts to recover my loses
I intend to name Saleha Bagum as the contact for the court documentation,
I suspect they do this a lot to unsuspecting customers

I had booked airline tickets through flight centre Westfield carousel. I was fortunate book it through their consultant Kristy-Lee Francis. She helped me through everything and patiently answered queries. I would not hesitate to recommend Flight Centre Cannington because of Kristy-Lee and her support. She was most knowledgeable .

Flight Centre - Forget it

I wont bother with Flight Centre ever, ever again.
1 error - it was cheaper to forfeit the tickets & buy new ones!
Gimme a break.
If you want the best deal, no hidden fees or surcharges, just go to the airline directly.
I will be advising everyone I know to do the same.

Kim is amazing! She listens, is friendly, honest and helpful. Changed anything

My name is Paddy Fiore I’m from Harvey WA and I booked a holiday to Egypt with a lifeless guy called Matthew Shepperd from Eaton flight center, I did call flight center to ask if I could please have another person to help or to return my deposit so I could go else where, the next thing I know Matthew sent me a msg asking me to come in and he was happy to help me out, I gave in and just bit the bullet. I’m writing this from Egypt not in the room that they booked me in in the room I found on my own as cosmopolitan hotel was bad, I travelled there with other people on a G adventure tour and we meet up again in the lobby, not a happy ending staff were terrible don’t believe me, google G adventure reviews and you will be shocked how bad this is. I have yet to start my dream tour and I’m not excited at all, my advice is simple I would never use flight center again and I will be paying Matthew a vist.
OH HAVE YOU SEEN FLIGHT CENTERS REVIEWS.

Misleading and charge hidden fees!

They said they 'price match' but charged us booking fees and some other junk, then sucked my wife into paying it whilst i wasn't there. They are scammers. Then when i called they said they'd return my call and never did. AVOID THEM!

Avoid if you can

There are a lot of catches with Flight Center as it turns out, I just cancelled a short flight with an airline that would normally only charge $50 cancellation fee but Flight Centre is now charging me another $300 (for a $500 ticket!) and telling me I will have to wait for up to 12 weeks! Lesson learned, take 20 minutes more or pay $50 extra and avoid being taken advantage of.

Not sure how skilled their advisers…

Not sure how skilled their advisers are. Most of it I could do online myself. Booked us the most awful hotel in Singapore Furama City Centre. One Flight Centre recommended booked a superior room. Walked in and straight back out, it was dirty and exhausted from overuse.
Did not ticket me in my full name despite having my passport, used my shortened name. Had trouble at every boarding had to get to the airport hours ahead of time each time to find a supervisor able to get me a special boarding pass.
They have just replaced their travel insurance, he didn't know enough about it. Very disappointing coverage lots of exclusions.
The manager did try to fix things but its no fun after the event when they can do very little. Moral of the story buy decent travel insurance pay the price and check the Canstar research at least.

People please do yourself a favour and…

People please do yourself a favour and don’t go to them. You think they are professional who assist you but they don’t. We dealt with a lady there who screwed up and we had to pay twice for the same flight. Her name is Audrey Niese! I can’t help but think that she did it on purpose to make more money for her company otherwise she is really out of it!

NEVER EVER USE THIS TERRIBLE COMPANY. NEARLY IMPOSSIBLE TO MAKE CHARGES ON THEIR CUSTOMER HELPLINE -I WANTED TO MAKE CHANGES DUE TO SERIOUS FAMILY ILLNESS BUT THEY WERE IMPOSSIBLE TO DEAL WITH- POOR ENGLISH, REPEATING SAME NONSENSE SCRIPT AGAIN AND AGAIN , NOT ANSWERING MY QUESTIONS PROPERLY, MAKING ME WAIT FOR EVERY SINGLE QUERY/ QUESTION EVEN IF IT DIDN’T NEED TO BE CHECKED; DIDN’T MAKE MY SPECIAL MEAL CHANGE ON NEW FLIGHT AND DIDN’T TERM ME MY FLIGHT TO AUCKLAND HAD BEEN CANCELLED THAT MORNING ALREADY!!!! Unbelievable. Do NOT use this bunch of cut price amateurs.

Anja at Kingston Flight Centre Hobart

Anja at Kingston Flight Centre Hobart, Tasmania is rated as a 5 star experience. She listened to my travel needs and was able to quickly book my flights. As I had done a little research of my own prior to my appointment with Anja I paid for my flights immediately. I highly recommend Flight centre in general as I have never had a bad experience.

I would only give them half a star if I…

I would only give them half a star if I was able. Terrible company and disgustingly immoral. Had two flights incorrectly booked and had to change them. Asked about changing or canceling. After 20 min cal (mostly on hold) was told I would have to pay $300 per ticket to cancel or change. $600 out of pocket for NOTHING. What work do they have to do to warrant $600 Thats a few whole days pay for most pepole. SCUMBAGS
