First class customer service

I had a small issue with my order and contacted customer service. The response was quick, polite and professional, and the whole situation was resolved without any hassle. The replacement arrived in less than a week, which I really appreciated.
It’s reassuring to deal with a company that takes responsibility and sorts things out efficiently. Very pleased with the service.

Poor customer service and too good to be true deal

So a nice promotion was offered by flexispot this morning with multiple discount codes offered. The highest discount was 50%, with only 5 codes available, followed by 30% and 10 codes available … up to 6% and 500 codes.
So prepared to jump on this amazing deal, I had prepared my basket with a nice standing desk with some accessories and a chair, ready to fill our newly built garden office.
At 10 sharp (which was the time when the deal started) I activated the code and managed to be one of the 5 lucky winner of the 50% discount code.
Well, not so lucky in the end, when I quickly press on the Payment (using the usually very reliable google pay) then nothing happened and I was unable to proceed with the basket payment and greeted with greyed out button.
I then contacted the support to explain the situation, and providing screenshot of the basket with the code clearly validated but the only answer I received is we cannot apply the discount manually and an apology. Trying to convince the support person that if their backend had technical issue to process the payment it was quite unfair that my order cannot go through, having secured the coupon. But still received the same answer and the support would not help to resolve the issue.

Reading the terms and conditions of the offer :
Scenario 1: Code entered but payment not completed
  ◦ Explanation: Entering and validating a code at checkout does not guarantee its use. Once “Pay Now” is clicked and the payment process begins, the code is considered claimed—regardless of whether the payment is completed."

It seems the code is claimed once validated even if the payment does not go through ? which was the case for me.
So really poor customer service, where nobody can claim the code due to a payment issue, probably due to the volume on their backend, which is not able to cope.

I would have expected the customer service to recognise the situation and honour the order, but probably not in their interest to do so.

Regardless if their products are good quality, if the customer service is poor and the support behind lack quality, probably best to source desks somewhere else after all.

Dear Laurent Persidat,

Thank you for taking the time to write such a detailed account of your experience. I genuinely appreciate it — and I'm truly sorry for how this played out.

You did everything right. You prepared ahead, you were ready at 10am sharp, you secured the code, and then the system simply didn't let you pay. I can only imagine how frustrating that must have been, especially when you had already mentally committed to the purchase.

Let me be transparent about what happened.

Our limited promotions operate on a first-paid, first-served basis. The code itself doesn't secure the discount — the payment does. If the promotional quota is filled by other customers completing their purchases while you're on the payment screen, the system invalidates the code. And once that happens, it cannot be reapplied.

We completely understand why this feels misleading — because from your perspective, the code was validated and the discount was showing. The gap between "code accepted" and "payment confirmed" is where the disconnect happened, and we acknowledge that our checkout process does not make this clear enough. We're actively reviewing how we communicate this to prevent exactly this kind of frustration.

Regarding the terms and conditions you quoted: you're right, it states that validation doesn't guarantee use. But we also understand that reading that after the fact, when you genuinely tried to pay, feels like a technicality — not a fair outcome. We're taking another look at how we word this to ensure it's clearer upfront.

As for your interaction with customer service: I'm sorry they couldn't offer more help. When the system blocks a payment, our team's hands are often tied — but that doesn't make the outcome any less disappointing for you. We're reinforcing training around promotional queries to ensure customers at least feel heard and understood, even when we can't manually apply the discount.

I know this doesn't undo the frustration, but if you're still interested in purchasing, please reach out to our customer service team directly. While we can't honour a sold-out promotion, we'll do our best to find a fair alternative based on current offers.

Thank you for holding us accountable. Feedback like yours genuinely helps us improve — both our systems and how we communicate.

FlexiSpot's misleading advertising practices...

I'm not happy with FlexiSpot's misleading advertising practices regarding their promotional discount codes. FlexiSpot advertises promotional codes offering 30%–50% discounts on selected products on their website. I applied a valid 50% discount code to the E7 Pro desk in accordance with the stated promotional terms. The discount was successfully applied in the basket; however, when I attempted to complete the purchase, the payment submission button was greyed out, preventing me from finalising the order. This is not the first time this issue has occurred. Other customers have reported similar experiences where valid promotional discounts appear to work initially but cannot be completed at checkout. It appears that the company advertises significant discounts to attract customers but does not honour them when customers attempt to proceed with payment. I contacted FlexiSpot customer services regarding the checkout error and inability to complete the purchase, but they refused to provide assistance or resolve the issue.

Dear Mr X,

Thank you for your detailed feedback, and I sincerely apologise for the frustration and confusion caused by your experience with our promotional discount.

You're right to feel disappointed — when a discount is clearly applied at checkout, it's completely reasonable to expect it to be honoured. I want to explain what happened, and also be transparent about why this keeps occurring.

Our limited promotions operate on a first-paid, first-served basis. This means that while the coupon may be accepted and show the discounted price in your basket, the discount is only secured once payment is successfully completed. If the promotional quota is exhausted by other customers completing their purchases while you're still on the payment screen, the system will automatically invalidate the coupon — and unfortunately, it cannot be reapplied.

We fully acknowledge that this process is not made clear enough during checkout, and we are actively reviewing how we communicate this to prevent customers from feeling misled. We also understand that being unable to complete payment due to a greyed-out button only adds to the frustration — and we're looking into the technical side of that as well.

Regarding your contact with customer service: I'm sorry they weren't able to provide a helpful resolution. This should have been handled with more care, and we're reinforcing training around promotional queries to ensure customers receive proper support, not dead ends.

If you're still interested in purchasing the E7 Pro, please reach out to our customer service team directly and ask them to review your case. We'll do our best to find a fair solution based on current available offers.

Thank you for taking the time to share this — feedback like yours helps us identify where we're falling short and what we need to fix.

Promotion issue at checkout later resolved by support

I received a 30% discount coupon which was successfully accepted by the system. The revised price with the discount was clearly displayed at checkout.

However, when I proceeded to complete the purchase, I received an error message and the coupon was automatically removed. After that, it could not be re-applied. I have screenshots showing that the discount was initially accepted.

This feels extremely misleading. If a promotion is advertised and technically validated at checkout, it should be honoured.

Very disappointing and a waste of time !

Update Feb 26, 2026:
After escalating this issue, FlexiSpot’s customer support team reached out and offered a resolution.

I appreciate that they ultimately took the feedback seriously and made efforts to resolve the matter in a fair way. This shows that they value customer satisfaction and are willing to act on feedback when issues are raised.

Dear Koray,

Thank you for sharing this, and we completely understand why you feel misled — because from your perspective, the system told you the discount was applied, then took it away. That’s frustrating, and we apologise for the experience.

To explain what happened: our limited promotions work on a first-paid, first-served basis. While the coupon may have been accepted and shown at checkout, the discount is only confirmed once payment is completed. If stock of the offer runs out while you're still entering payment details, the system will remove the coupon — and unfortunately, it can’t be reapplied.

We realise this isn’t made clear enough in the checkout process, and we’re reviewing how we communicate this to avoid similar confusion in the future. We don’t want anyone to feel like they’ve been misled when they were genuinely trying to complete a purchase.

If you still want to go ahead with the desk, feel free to reach out to our customer service team and we’ll see what current offers we can extend to you.

Thanks for taking the time to flag this — it genuinely helps us improve.

Purchased chair

Purchased chair, mat and desk for total amount of £480.

The chair had an issue with one of the bolts, it stuck and caused a noise when I lean in right side. I got used for that even though it was annoying.

The next issue popped up after 5 months and the noice of the main steel bar caused such a noise when I was standing up OMg. Lubricant did not help, so I decided to contact customer service .

I was surprised that on how fast the decision was taken and I got a new chair. (Hope it would not cause any problems)

But wow, I really liked the way they treated me.

I bought my FlexiSpot desk over a year…

I bought my FlexiSpot desk over a year ago, and I’ve been genuinely impressed with it ever since. The desk is extremely sturdy and solid, and assembling it was straightforward with no issues at all. It looks fantastic too — the finish feels high quality and gives my workspace a clean, professional feel.
I recently notice a small cosmetic issue, so I reached out to customer service. They were quick to respond and initially offered a partial refund, but we agreed that replacing the affected part would be the best solution. The replacement arrived within just a couple of days, which really shows how efficient and customer-focused their support team is.
Overall, I’m very pleased with both the product and the service. I would highly recommend FlexiSpot to anyone looking for a reliable, well-made desk backed by excellent customer care.

This is NOT a UK based company

This is NOT a UK based company, they have a warehouse in the UK but the customer service team is based in the Philippines, not a problem normally but I try not to spend this much money if the company isn't UK based (not good if things go wrong). I am a new customer and I ordered a desk for £399, they sent the wrong size desktop, when I phoned to complain the best they could offer was to send a replacement desktop 4 days later. Not the next day to makeup for THEIR error but 4 days. This is not acceptable for such a large value item and as its a desk with moving parts I now worry about spare parts and maintenance. Nothing on the company website gives the idea that they are not UK based. I would avoid and try and buy local. The true measure of services is when things go wrong.

Dear richard batchelor,

Thank you for your feedback, and we sincerely apologize for the frustration caused by receiving the wrong desktop and the delay in arranging a replacement. We completely understand your disappointment.

You're correct that our customer service team is based in the Philippines. We want to be transparent about this: we have a UK warehouse and inventory, but our support operates globally to provide 24/7 coverage. That said, we understand your preference for a UK-based team when purchasing higher-value items, and we respect that.

Regarding the replacement: we aim to process exchanges as quickly as possible, but we acknowledge that asking you to wait four days for our mistake was not good enough. We're reviewing to ensure faster resolutions when we get it wrong.

As for spare parts and maintenance — all replacement parts are stocked in our UK warehouse, so future support won't be impacted by where our service team is based. If you decide to keep the desk, we're here to help with any issues that arise.

We appreciate you giving us the chance to explain, and we're committed to doing better.

Illusion of Customer Care.

The product is very good and easy to put together, however the support and logistics leave a lot to be desired.

Desk frame delivery was in two boxes, with two different deliveries, and two different couriers, two days apart.

Other item is MIA after 5 working days and courier has no record, Flexispot unable or unwilling to do anything until working day 6.

The support takes too long, live chat takes 20 mins to resolve something that should take 2 minutes and calling is pot luck, might connect or you might be in hold ten minutes.

The product is 4/5
Everything else is 2/5

Great desk, efficient customer support

The first desk top came in damaged, most probably during the delivery process.
The customer support gracefully handled my request and quickly proposed a new desk top free of charge.

The overall desk assembly was relatively smooth, even if some holes were not properly pre-drilled.
Once built, the desk seems sturdy. The motors are fast and quiet.
The cable tray seems kind of shaky, but it seems to hold my cables and power strip.

Once again, thanks for the customer service, nice team !
