Highly recommend

Highly recommend. My son has been attending for a few years. He used to be afraid of books and cry every night I even touched one! Now he loves to read and I’m forever ordering books. This is all thanks for FSD and their dedication to their students. It’s the most amazing environment and I only wish it was a full time school. It’s literally been life changing for my son.

My Daughter has benefited tremendously…

My Daughter has benefited tremendously from her time at Flexi school dyslexia. It’s given her the confidence in her abilities to create truly outstanding creative work and not be boxed in by standard vanilla ways of doing things. She now has tools to help in her written work rather than be held back by the generic one standard fits all teaching methods in place at school.

New starter 8 yr old with dual diagnosis

My son started at the beginning of this term after his diagnosis. He is 8 and really finding things hard in his primary education setting. He has also recently been diagnosed with ADHD which has added to his struggles. FSD have identified areas of need and are working closely with him to guide him and help reach his potential as a learner. They are approachable and understanding and keen to engage with his primary school to ensure smooth communication about ways to help him back in his mainstream school. It is a fantastic mostly untapped facility and we are so glad a site closer to our home opened up in Ashurst. I cannot recommend this facility highly enough.

FSD has been a life-saver for our 9yr old dyslexic son who was becoming very unhappy & suffering such low self-esteem at school, we decided we had to help him and found FSD. He has only been attending once a week for a short time and our son has progressed so much and we can see the difference in himself. Thank you 🙏 FSD

Flexi-dyslexia school

My daughter has been attending flexi-dyslexia school gcse classes and i only wish i had found them sooner. She is always happy to attend on a friday afternoon and knows that narinda and her team understand her. Most importantly, she is learning to be accountable for her own learning and Narinda has been super supportive to our family when we have had to advocate for our daughter at her secondary school. If you have a child that is in need of help, i strongly recommend flexi dyslexia school. Sometimes, they just need to know that they are dealing with teachers that understand how they learn! Thank you all your help, support and advice.

Can't fault FSD!

The leaps my son has made in confidence, reading and spelling since attending FSD are quite honestly amazing! He absolutely loves his sessions, and bounds back into his mainstream school brimming with confidence to take on the rest of the day. It's so lovely to see him achieve something each session and be proud of himself, a feeling not usually experienced in mainstream school! In addition the support we have recieved as parents is incredible. To anyone considering sending their child to FSD it will be the best decision you will make!

My daughter has attended FSD since the end of year 4 now currently year 5. It's been amazing.. her confidence has grown massively and she is proud to be dyslexic. The support she gains is great- small group sizes and the staff are friendly and supportive. They use a variety of techniques at flexi school such as multi sensory which also helps my daughter's ASD. She loves her time at flexi school and we are happy knowing she is learning new strategies to help her dyslexia. Staff give updates on her progress and how she is doing which is also good. Highly recommend if you are looking for a school for your child with dyslexia.

FSD has really helped my son so much

FSD has really helped my son so much, he started in oct 24 and has come on so much in such a short time.

When he started his confidence was a rock bottom and had just started to refuse to go into his mainstream school as he was fit to burst having built up so much frustration over the years with his dyslexia struggles and not getting the right help and support.

The change in him has been so big, his smile is back, he’s happier at home (as he’s not bringing all that frustration home each day) and he’s got bucket loads of confidence in himself again.

I had the pleasure of joining him in class yesterday as part of the “parent becomes the student” day and it was so interesting to see the different strategies that FSD use to help the kids unlock there potential.

I have dyslexia myself and struggle a lot with spelling, knowing all my phonics etc and have always found it hard to help my son at home with his work. However after talking to Matt he made me realise I can still help my son and he can help me, we can learn together! So I have purchased the toe to toe book and some other amazing resources for our little home learning journey.

If your child is struggling with dyslexia at there mainstream school and need there confidence building back up then FSD is the place for you……book it up and watch the smile come back to your child’s face 😁

I just asked my child what he thinks of FSD and he said I LOVE ❤️ IT 🤩

Flexi school dyslexia

Flexi school dyslexia has given my daughter so much confidence and an ability to advocate for herself. The skills she has been taught have provided a platform for her to understand how she learns and how her brain works. Everyone at Flexi school dyslexia are so passionate about providing a learning environment that gives all the children the opportunity to learn in a way that works for them and their own neurodiversity.

Brilliant school for children who require that extra bit of help. The children feel confident knowing they are working and learning with children and staff who are in the same situation as them. Having dyslexia. The school is inviting, friendly and very knowledgeable. They teach the children and the brain how to manage. So glad I sent my child there.

This school stands out as the premier choice for students with dyslexia. It has profoundly impacted both my son and me, providing invaluable knowledge and support. The dedicated teachers go above and beyond, continually updating their lessons and skills to meet the needs of their students. Thanks to this school, my son has developed a genuine passion for learning and gained a clear understanding of his strengths, equipping him to thrive in a neurotypical world. Enrolling your child here is truly an investment in their future happiness and overall well-being.

It would not be an exaggeration to say…

It would not be an exaggeration to say this school has changed our lives. My daughter was struggling so much in primary school and had become fearful about learning. I spoke to her school but my concerns were always dismissed and I started to feel like an over-anxious parent, all the time noticing how much more withdrawn she was becoming as her awareness grew that she was ‘falling behind’ academically.

Ella started at FSD after a recommendation and slowly started to flourish in an environment that taught her visually, worked at a pace that suits her and gave her the knowledge and self awareness to understand how her brain works.

It was the first time that as a parent I felt my concerns were heard and the feedback FSD provides has given the knowledge and the ability to advocate for Ella and to get her main stream school to listen.

Ella is making improvements in her reading, spelling, handwriting and managing herself in a classroom. Most importantly after 18 months here she is a much happier learner, with an incredible level of self awareness for 10 year old and much more confident.

In fact I am so impressed with FSD that when I saw a job opening I applied and can confirm that it is an environment where every child is encouraged and supported to understand themselves and what having dyslexia means for them so they are able to reach their full potential.
