Flag Bikes is the best!

The guys at Flag Bikes are the best - I wouldn't go anywhere else and have recommended a number of people! They go above and beyond to give you honest advice and support. I love my Cinelli, and have been incredibly impressed with the care it has been shown over the years. Thanks guys!

Great afterservice

Bought a bike, popped in after 1000km and the guys check all components, tyres and adjusted cables tension on both derailleurs as they stretched a bit.

Great service and top guys

Best bike shop and they stock Cinelli!

Best bike shop. The guys really have passion for bikes, know their stuff and can help with a good advice.
They are official Cinelli dealer and seem to have most of the models in stock, so you can actually come and touch, feel and test-ride one. This is rare for Cinelli.
The guys can build custom bike to order if you want.
Ordered Cinelli superstar there on Thursday, frame had to be ordered from the main UK distributor and I got my bike already built next Thursday.
The shop itself is very stylish, not filled with loads of cheap models and service is very good.

Extremely rude staff!

Extremely rude staff!

Flag Bikes is my local bike shop, so over the years I have given them much service as I have a few bikes. Almost every time I go there, I leave feeling annoyed, infuriated or belittled.
I'm not sure if it's because i'm female or if they're that rude to everyone. They've been shouting across the shop at me, in my face, laughing and threatening when I suggested that something still wasn't right after paying for a full service.

Although the manager generally tries to calm the situation, he just apologises (eventually, when pushed) but does not take any action to stop such issues occuring again. I've now had enough and have decided I'd prefer to go elsewhere with a long walk home either side of dropping off or collecting my bike for repair. Flag Bikes have done a reasonable job with my servicing, but the mechanics should be out the back if they cannot be polite (or even just civil) to their customers.

Service/new parts - would recommend!

My bike was due a service, so I (reluctantly) brought it into the shop, in the knowledge that it needed a bit of work - I had only cleaned it once or twice in two years! I wanted some new tires as well, as I was getting a lot of punctures.

They gave me a discount on the tires, because I was getting the service as well. They changed the brake pads, chain and rear cassette (all of which were quite worn), and cleaned/tuned the whole bike.

It's riding fantastically well now - on my first day taking it out of the shop a pedestrian ran out onto the road in front of me, and the brakes worked superbly, potentially preventing an accident. The work and the tires together didn't come cheap, but it was around the standard market rate, and it's definitely been worth it to improve my safety/riding experience, and to prolong the life of the bike in the mid-long term!
