We're thrilled to hear your grains are growing quickly and you're brewing your own water kefir! You can also slow down the cycle by placing the grains in the fridge in sugar solution until you need to use them again :)
I bought through their Etsy store and these water kefir grains are AMAZING, a few months in I'm making 2 750ml bottles every 48 hours. After the second ferment they are explosive!!!
After experimenting with types of sugar and ratios, here's what works for these grains
100g of grains plus 100g sugar (66g white sugar, and 34g unrefined demerera cane sugar) in 1500 ml of spring water with 2 dried figs.
With that mix my grains are more than doubling every 48 hours.
Tried lots of flavours for the 2nd ferment but IKEA's blueberry cordial tops my list so far.

We take great pride in the quality of our live water kefir cultures and in providing clear, easy-to-follow instructions. In most cases where fermentation seems slow or less fizzy, it’s usually due to cooler room temperatures (which can slow the culture down, especially during the winter months) or small differences in the fermentation process.
We’re always happy to help troubleshoot and offer advice, and we wish you had reached out to us first so we could help get things working as they should.
As you can see from our many reviews across Etsy and Trustpilot, our water kefir grains do produce a lively, fizzy ferment when the conditions are right. If you ever decide to try again, we’d be more than happy to assist.
