Fiverr and terrible for Freeelancers

Fiverr and terrible for Freeelancers. Avoid if you can.

It takes up to a month to get paid through the payoneer system, and their support team is essentially non existing with just automated bots. (the perfect way to be treated when its the freelancers that make the platform actually work)

Painfully inept

Had a small project I needed some help with, decided to give fiverr a go.

Created an account, reaached out to a few sellers to talk about requirements and budget.............account got deleted, no rhyme or reason was ever given, fiverr just decided to delete my account

Created a second account, this time using my gmail address opposed to my old .live.co.uk I used above. Again reached out to sellers, had some negotiations, came to an agreement with one, few days later get a notification saying I have recieved an update from the seller, click to be directed to read the update.................get a page telling me my account has been deleted. Yet again no rhyme, no reason, no means of contacting anyone, zero support. Based on literally nothing and without even having the common decency to communicate they just arbitrarily deleted my account again, which cost me the chunk of money I had paid the person to begin the project meaning I was scammed, not by a questionable seller but by fiverr themselves and their limitless idiocy and it also cost the seller further paydays because a job was pulled out from under her feet evidently for no reason other than someone at fiverr was in a bad mood that day.

While I am critiquing I may as well also address how pathetic their website is, their one job is to facilitate dialogue between 2 parties, but their site is so crap it struggles to even do that. There are holdover websites from the 90's that are still running which run smoother than this, expect constant lag, constant errors, constant "this page is slowing down x browser"

Although, I don't really like buying services online. But once my friend of mine introduced me to this Platform, And I tried it out, I really loved the experience so far. Fiver is a very poor platform run by…

Fiver is a very poor platform run by bots and not actual people on the end of a phone. Also 99% of their sellers are from India and Pakistan and you will find that lots of scam companies have seen an easy way to make money using fiver. My advice is to stay away and look for a local designer in your town.

Credit cards by the most popular carriers aren't accepted. Would have to lose even more money on exchanges b/c Fiverr doesn't support basic ecommerce functionality that is standard especially via stripe integration.

I tried to set up my account

I tried to set up my account. All went well right to the end and it seemed to have been approved by fiverr.com. Then a few minutes later I receive an email with no explanation that my profile could not be approved.

If there is anything else we can help you with, please let us know.

Never seen this kind of ABSURED platform

When I requested the developer, he runed my old project source on his pc.

So, I need to check how it runs on his pc so connected to his pc via anydesk.

And then, he said that he wants to chat on whatsapp and shared his whatsapp number.

So, we could not leave the chatting history on the fiverr.com

Unfortunately, he noticed I am a newcomer on fiverr, so he markted the project completed by uploading simple apk on the platform, so it was marked completed automatically.

He scammed me totally.

And then, if freelancer uploads one before deadline, the order is COMPLETED automatically without my permission.

-------------- I have NEVER seen this kind of ABSURD PLATFORM. -----------------------

And he removed all of the chatting history about the project requirements on whatsapp.

Totally, he is scammer and I am very down on this platform.

So, I requested to refund my money on the support team and then they need me to share video which shows that the order was not completed.

Does it mean that they believe he delivered my order and can't believe my upset?

I will record video about my requirements and his works meanwhile.

But it is not normal to mark the order as completed automatically on deadline without MY REVIEWS.

And should I pay the revisions if I don't satisfy the freelancer's works, too?

How bad it is !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I strongly recommend everyone that there are so many scammers - freelancers on FIVERR.COM and NEVER, will work with the scammers.

The developer wasted my time and stolen my money, too.
And the platform don't try to understand my situation anymore.

I had a website built by a Fiverr…

I had a website built by a Fiverr freelancer for my saxophone lessons business and I must say that my experience was great at each stage of the build. The freelancer talked me through the whole process, what they planned to do, what they needed me to do and where we would be going with it next. It all came together very nicely and smoothly.

Add to that the fact that the rates were incredible affordable for the quality of work provided... I can highly recommend using Fiverr for your next website!

Scammer platform and Fiver team not blocked them despite knowing they are scammers

Scammer platform ... and the Fiver team did not block these scammers despite providing evidence of each scam!
these scammers are mainly within crypto orders, where they set their location in different fake countries !!! so, when you ask for an order their scam works as the following

1) They ask your Telegram user
2) They mention that they need separate money to buy tools and APIs at a special rate
3) they provide you the option to pay by PayPal or their ETH address
4) Another option, is that they do not ask in advance for tools, but on the delivery date, they insist on deploying the software on your PC only after you give them your wallet address and add 1 ETH to your wallet for deployment ... their software is malware and DAPP to steal the money
5) Others, they send you a malware delivery filled with their wallet address instead yours, so all profit you make goes to their wallet

problem, the Fiver team did nothing to block them and there are many on this platform

just search Arbitrage bot,, and all Gigs under this are scammers even if their country says France, US ...etc ... they are mainly in one specific African country

Gigs not getting matches and Not visible in Search

I try to publish a new gig but my new also not visible and I try to promote my existing gig that's also unqualified. I am facing this issue a few months back. But i keep continuing to deliver great quality work and still, I have a lot of active orders. You people always send auto replies due to poor performance. I have checked nothing wrong with my gigs even i doing great on Fiverr. All my gigs were ranked on Fiverr but you people send them into draft. If you people can't solve my problem then what's the purpose of chat support??? Why does Fiverr always take 20% from the seller??? Why does Fiverr take only the buyer side??? You people just send auto-replies and you think it's done from your side??? What's wrong with my Gigs?? I am a professional seller and i have all orders with 5 start rating else 1 order but you never visited my account and never explored my account issue. Please understand my frustrations as well and help me thanks

Scam SITE!

Hello everyone,

I'm here to share an incredibly disheartening experience I had with Fiverr, an experience that has left me feeling utterly robbed and taken advantage of.

Let me lay it out: I engaged a Fiverr seller for a seemingly simple 7-11-page website service. As days turned into weeks, the service was marked as complete within just 7 days – a service that was anything but complete.

When I finally managed to contact Fiverr's support team, they presented me with two options: a refund or extending the timeframe for the seller. Opting to be fair, I gave the seller more time, fully believing that my interests would be protected.

What unfolded was a series of weeks filled with excuses and pitifully minimal progress – around a mere 20% completion. Despite assurances, the seller was nowhere near finishing what they promised.

When I sought a resolution, I took the step of initiating a PayPal dispute. Following this, I received an email stating that my order had been canceled and that a refund had been issued in the form of store credit. The email also emphasized that opening disputes was against their terms of service. Despite this, I chose to maintain the dispute open, with the aim of seeking a bank refund.

However, inadvertently, I opened the wrong claim category on PayPal, which led to the claim being decided in favor of the seller due to this mismatch.

Yet, against their suggestion, I left the dispute open, clinging to the hope of a proper refund in my bank account – the only form of restitution that would actually mean something.

Fiverr's web of deceit knows no bounds.

Yet again, they emphasized that opening disputes was a violation of their terms of service.

What's even more astonishing is that the seller has expressed willingness to refund me. However, it seems that Fiverr is now playing the role of money's captor. Their reasoning? They claim the seller is facing other claims, as if that's something I should shoulder the burden of.

Why should I be penalized for Fiverr's inability to manage their own disputes? It's as if my predicament is being used as a pawn in a larger game, where Fiverr holds all the cards and I'm left with nothing but frustration and a sense of being wronged.

So here's where I stand, a customer who trusted Fiverr, only to feel deceived and cornered. If anything, my experience is a cautionary tale for anyone who might think Fiverr is a safe haven for transactions.

I'm sharing this not just to vent my frustration, but to ensure that others know what they're potentially signing up for. Let my ordeal be a stark reminder that even seemingly reputable platforms can fail to uphold their promises when the going gets tough.

Here's where the heart of my anger lies: Not only did Fiverr refuse me a proper refund, they manipulated the situation to ensure they were in the right. It's a gut-wrenching feeling, akin to being robbed in broad daylight.

So, as I sit here feeling taken advantage of, I can't help but wonder how a platform that boasts customer support can so blatantly disregard the very customers they claim to support. This is not a tale of misunderstandings; this is a story of feeling deceived, exploited, and robbed.

Clear injustice from Fiverr support

I am an experienced PowerApps developer providing services on Fiverr. I recently encountered an issue which has left me questioning the fairness of the platform's dispute resolution process and the effectiveness of its support system.

I was contracted to create a custom PowerApp with detailed specifications including functionality like barcode generation, data filtering, table sorting, and print capabilities. I delivered a functioning app that adhered to the design proposed by the client and met all outlined requirements. The client, however, raised a concern about connecting the app with their SharePoint lists, something that was not possible without access to their environment.

In an attempt to find a resolution, I suggested alternatives and offered revisions. I asked the client to provide specific feedback on the areas they felt were not up to par with the requirements, hoping to make the necessary adjustments. I also ensured them that the app had been thoroughly tested on my end with dummy data and was working flawlessly.

However, the client kept on stating that the work was incomplete without providing detailed information on what they found lacking. They insisted I should be able to perform the tasks without access to their environment, which contradicts the technical limitations of PowerApps development.

Recognizing the severity of the situation, I reached out to Fiverr's support for assistance. I explained the scenario, highlighting that the issues raised by the client could not be addressed without their collaboration. I hoped for intervention from the platform to help mediate the situation and ensure a fair outcome.

To my surprise, I received no response from Fiverr's support. Instead, I found out that the order had been canceled by Customer Support, three days before the delivery deadline. There was no attempt to reach out to me for clarification or explanation. The order was abruptly canceled, disregarding the time, effort, and resources I put into the project and the potential revisions I could have made within the remaining time.

This experience has not only led to financial loss but has also left me questioning the efficacy and impartiality of Fiverr's support system. It's disheartening that sellers can be left in the lurch without any explanation or opportunity to defend their work.

I hope my experience raises awareness about the struggles that freelancers face on platforms like Fiverr, where often, the balance seems to tip unfairly in favor of clients. We, as service providers, deserve fair treatment, effective communication, and a reliable support system.

I would appreciate it if fellow freelancers could share their insights and experiences, and how they've managed to navigate such difficult situations.

One Of The Worse market place…

One Of The Worse market place ever.....This Market place is totally for the buyers of this platform.....Fiverr support is totally useless for the freelancers.....I am facing this issue 3rd time.....I did not break any rule but the buyer break more than 4 rule still Fiverr ignored that and flag my profile without any valid reason.....They said that i did not Complete the delivery which i did more than 7 times.....i was sure that I won't get any kind of help there but u still gave it a try.....And as expected I did not got any help.....I would say it is the most unprofessional and cheap market place i have ever seen.....The most 1 star reviews are legit here i can see.....And the 5 star reviews are the mostly from fiverr purchase.....At last i will say never came here to meet a bad experience......

Stay far far far away from Fiverr. They are proactively defending proven scamming sellers, as long as Fiverr gets their cut of the profit, then they don’t care about the rest. If you want to be a seller of your own content, stay away from this site!
They can easily delete your account and all of your services whenever they want and without explanation. They don't care if you've been on their site for years or if you're a newbie. It doesn't matter if you have positive reviews or not, they don't care about you! I strongly advise you not to waste your time with them, look for a good faith company and not this one! - that's my advice)
