I had to give 1 star because that's the lowest it allows me to go. An employee, female, signed my 16 year old son up with a membership around Feb 2021 by changing his year of birth by 2 years to make him old enough to sign a contract. She changed it because it's against their policy. Um, excuse me, it's AGAINST THE LAW for a minor to enter into a contract and adults know this, minors DO NOT, they're just kids and don't know any better which is why it's ILLEGAL!!!!! Oh, they didn't even ask to see his ID, why, because he doesn't have one, not even a school ID and if he did have a school ID, it would've said that he was a junior in high school which then should prompt her to ask for a different ID. He tried canceling it since he never even went after that and couldn't so that's when me, his mother, got involved. I called and spoke to customer service, got it canceled and the representative couldn't believe what happened. She stated to me that in order to get my money back (because minors can't even get their own bank accounts), she told me that I needed to take it up with the manager of the actual location that the membership started from. I called, the guy that answered the phone agrued with me about it and told me that he knew and read everything that was signed, no minor/child knows what all of that means, and that it wasn't illegal. I called back after I stated that I was on my way to talk to a manager because with traffic and the distance, I wouldn't make it in time and I got one. The manager I spoke to was named George and I explained everything, he seemed helpful and stated that the money would be returned from day one and that it would be canceled but call him back after the weekend to make sure everything went through unless he contacted me first. Called, was "busy" so I left a message for him to call me, nothing, called another time, "busy" so I left a message for him to call me, nothing again. My son called me from school and told me that they took more money out of his account today, so I called back today 01/04/2022 and nobody answered the phone, hung up and called to get customer service again. She wanted proof of his age by submitting his birth certificate, so I did and she stated that she was submitting it but her/the manager was in a meeting and that she would call me back this afternoon. Guess what, it's after 6pm and NOTHING!!! Shocked? NO! I was polite with everyone that I spoke with, despite how I normally am when you make me mad or do something to my child. I had to call the bank and get them involved because it's complete FRAUD. The bank told me that they kept taking out different amounts of money 2x a month out of the account for a total of over $350. The bank is now handling everything and the charges are being disputed. I will NEVER in my life recommend this place or the people that work there. All they had to do was make everything right but they couldn't even do that. It's scary to know how many more people they've done this to. So if you want to be frauded, argued with and ignored by the manager when there's a problem, this is DEFINITELY the gym for you! That's the only way this gym gets a recommendation, hahahahaha. (in all seriousness, it isn't funny, it's disgusting)
