BUYER BEWARE
BUYER BEWARE. Melissa Alcantara @fitgurlmel is posing on Instagram as though she is still Kim Kardashian’s trainer when she has not been in a few years. She is using her name and association to bait and switch new customers into “personalized fitness training”. They put you on a phony couple of Zoom calls with a Kerri who interviews you on your goals and personal life with ZERO information about the actual program, then upsells you and takes a higher amount than previously agreed upon—$500 for a deposit and close to 2K for 12 weeks of training. Her site has NO packaging or information on the “Strong Again” program they tried to sell me. They then sent a phishing email from a Vic for a Zoom meeting when it was revealed that this supposedly personalized program for an exorbitant price was for an AI powered fitness app and that users can “send the trainer videos” for feedback. Some of the tasks included drinking water and steps taken - ie nothing your apple products or AI cannot do.
I could not believe my eyes and messaged Melissa myself to verify she was not being impersonated, but she confirmed this is her model and her employees. Very disappointed to fall for this as a usually informed consumer. Reported to BBB, TrustPilot, and local police.
