It is fn´ impossible to cancel the membership. I don’t live in Germany for more than 2 years and they send me a warning that I didn’t pay. I sent all the documents multiple times, nothing! Just a rude email back. Do not go there!

ABSOLUTELY BAD SERVICE
I went for business trip to Nuremberg on March, 2 2023.
I asked the girl at the welcome desk that I wanted a pass for 5 days (like I did last year!).
She told me "no problem I see your profile, you just to have this paper for insurance and that's all, make the wire transfer as last year and we're good, you pay for one month only and you can come".
So I did. I sent the wire transfer, signed the paper as she asked for insurance.
BUT !!! SHE DID WRONG, SHE MADE ME SIGNED A YEAR SUBSCRIPTION WHEREAS I LIVE IN FRANCE !!!
This is just WRONG, the fitstar service keep on sending me subscriptions to pay WHEREAS I NEVER ASKED FOR A YEAR SUBSCRIPTION !!! I told them since APRIL 2023 that she did wrong and NOBODY REPLIES !!!!!!!!!!!
I sent many mails to explain the situation ! Nobody replis !

They are selling "12 month contracts", but if you do not cancel it directly within first 9 months it suddenly becomes 24 months contract. This they somehow forgot to mention in the advertisement or anywhere else apart of the contract, where it is written with such a small font, that you need a magnifying glass to read it. They have machines with "free" powerdrinks (you pay additional 4 euro/m for this), but they occasionally do not accept you card. Once they kicked me out of the gym because I forgot my towel on that day. Super poorly ventilated. In some locations the roof is leaking (seriously leaking, not one drop once in a while). And of cause if you write them something in English, they will ignore it.

The quality is awful, always stinks, and full of people, I do not recommend anyone to join this fitness club.
Moreover they are trickers. I have legally requested a termination within agreed term, and instead of canceling my membership, some stupid worker is writing me complete nonsense, and extending my membership... The worker is completely stupid, because he doesn't know to read, to write or to count. Thank you for amazing client support. I request to speak to someone serious! Is there anyone serious at all?

Low budget gym with horrible atmosphere. My advice is to spend € 20 more per month and train in a decent environment.

This is the most appalling gym, with the most awful customer service that I have ever used. In 2019, my partner and I signed up for the gym's services in person in Munich. We were told by the person on reception that we could use our GB bank accounts to sign up, so we did. However, the payment didn't go through, because - despite what we had been told - Fitstar only accepted payments from German bank accounts. So we never used the service. Despite this, Fitstar has chased both myself and my partner for the past three years, claiming approx. 1,000 euros from us collectively for a service that we have never been able to access. Despite trying repeatedly to resolve this issue with Fitstar's customer service, they just claim again and again that we owe them money, never once acknowledging that we cancelled our memberships and have never been able to use their service because of their parochial banking practices. Truly, this has been a deeply stressful and expensive experience. Don't use this gym chain.

Worst gym in the world, run away from this company. They just add abusive terms to have your money .....

I am so beyond angry at Fit Star. If I could rate 0 stars, I would.

I belonged to their studio for several years. The studio itself was fine. HOWEVER, my husband and I moved to Northern Germany in December 2020. Because we are more than 20 km (by far) from the nearest studio, I am legally allowed to cancel my contract early due to extraordinary measures.

I submitted the requested documents MANY times and wrote MANY emails. They have not answered my emails, and continued to charge me for the last 10 MONTHS, even though I have every legal right to cancel early and cease payments. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE.

I understand with Covid there is a staff shortage and a delay in answering customers. I am a patient and understanding person, But 10 MONTHS is outrageous and illegal.

Avoid this company at all costs. They have absolutely no customer service (the phone number is a dead end), they don't answer emails, and will continue charging - probably until you take legal action. AVOID AVOID AVOID.

No sense of professionalism, I filed for my cancellation on 14.11.2020 and they didn't take my cancellation date till 30.08.2021 and now it's 2 months over and they are still charging me.
Upon inquiry, they told me that there is a misunderstanding from their colleague and they will continue my contract till 31.01.2022. This is utter nonsense and they are charging people during tough times.

horrible - no service. They kept charging me through covid even though it was closed. i have canceled my services and they keep on charging me and not replying to my emails. I have handed this to my lawyer now. No idea how this company still operates. 0 service available

Wouldn't even give them one star but had to, to leave a review. They are a complete SCAM!! Have reported them to the trading standards. Horrible nasty thieves!!!!!

VERY BAD!! AVOID!! They charged me for extra months and never returned the money. Customer service is non-existent, impossible to reach by phone as the service is not existing and also mail takes 3 months to get a generic answer. No sign of customer rights in here.

Absolute SCAM..product didn't arrive..given a fake tracking number..

THEFT OF INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY..
I've just discovered this company along with several other companies, selling leggings in a print made fromone of my crochet designs. They did not have permission do so, so royalties owed in the bucket full. I have also tracked them to a Chinese company, but so far have not been able to get to the robbing thieves. I'd give the company a miss! They are not delivered as they look in the photographs prints are very poor.Sue Pinner

First of all very surprised to see they arrived in cheap packing from China. Disgusted at the contents. Nothing like what I ordered. What should have come to my calves looks to be shorts length. Extremely badly made in very cheap spandex material. Not only that, were supposed to be black, but looked like someone had been rolling around in moss in them. Shocking. Fit for nothing but the bin. Company should be shut down.

I ordered from them when their website was fitstar.co (now fitstarapparel.com so buyer be ware) and I got suckered in reading they’re Canadian. Thinking I was supporting a Canadian company I bought 2 leggings and a sports bra to test their quality.

Packages came separate from China and took about a month to arrive. They did come in a Fitstar bag but they smelled like AliExpress or Wish - and they were the same quality. Waste of money.

You know why? Because Fitstar is a dropshipping site which imports products directly from aliexpress. Look up any products on their site, I guarantee you will find the same product on AliExpress. They must import AliExpress product through a Shopify (e-commerce platform) plugin called Oberlo. Save your money and head straight to AliExpress.

Real scam. I bought the wings legging at first at ali express. They looked really bad but were like 8 euros. Then i decided to buy the 'real' one at fitstar apparel. Turns out they are exactly the same pants (also the same packaging and from China). Bad quality, looks different than on the website. Size isn't oke and its too short.
So I spend 50 euros for exactly the same pants all over again.
THEY don't have a refund policy and returning them is a real journey, look at the other reviews. Doesn't work.
REAL SCAM!!
