Absolute con!

Absolute con! I stayed at the Slateford House Luxury Apartment in late October. The whole place smellt like a toilet. No insulation/sound-proofing. Bedroom looked diseased (I genuinely think that there could be a pest problem there as it looked that dodgy). Flat looked incredibly easy to break into. Location was also rubbish.

Left as soon as I saw the place and asked for a refund immediately. The property owner refused to respond to emails and in-app messages from both myself and booking.com. Once I was able to contact him by phone, he threatened to refuse to issue a refund in response to my booking.com review. Have already raised an on-going Visa dispute and am in the process of collecting evidence of this scam for the police and the Financial Ombudsman. Will be taking legal action if I am not issued a full refund.

Don't waste your time in this over-priced dumpster of an apartment. If you, like me are travelling alone, I'm sure a local drug den would be a much safer choice!
