Installed 3 smoke alarms and 1 heat…

Installed 3 smoke alarms and 1 heat detector in February 2022. December 2025 alarms went off about 6am with no obvious cause. Now there is an intermittent beeping early morning and alarm going off every other day. Having read other recent similar reviews we will be replacing all alarms with a different brand. So much for 10 year guarantee.

DO NOT BUY!

DO NOT BUY!! Same issue as others, bought a bundle to comply with regulations and they were OK for 3 or 4 years. But now they chirp a lot, seems to be worse when the house is cold. No reply from the company to my email. My mother bought the same ones as me for her house, same issue too. Probably going to take then down as too noisy too sleep.

Shockingly bad

We have the same shocking experience, spent a small fortune on interlinked alarms, and started beeping earlier this year, contacted them and no online reply but a new alarm arrived in the post about a month later, more alarms beeping now and messaged multiple times with no response

10 year battery a lie

Bought in 2021 to be in line with the scottish regulations. Battery meant to last 10 years, but four years on is beeping every hour due to the battery failing. No way to contact the company, website links to amazon who are selling a different product. Feels like a scam. Avoid.

Avoid. Faulty. Don't waste your money.

The initial experience was good. Order/delivery was swift and all seemed great. Like everyone else, this was back in 2021/22 with the expectation of the batteries to last 10 year. The first battery fail was reported and replaced swiftly. This was within weeks of the purchase. However in Nov'25 a second alarm started to periodically chirp. I've emailed and had no response as yet. I doubt that I will.

Bought set of alarms in January 2022…

Bought set of alarms in January 2022 necessary to comply with Scottish Govt regulations. Alarms are marketed as having 10 year life. In the winter of 2024 the alarms began to chirp intermittently, despite emailing the company I have not had the courtesy of any response. Problem seems worse in cold weather. Do not buy from this company, customer service appalling!

Exactly the same problem as other…

Exactly the same problem as other reviewers: Installed alarms in February 2022 in accordance with the new regs in Scotland. One of the smoke alarms recently started 'chirping' intermittently for no reason. I emailed the company seeking advice and got no reply. I will not buy this product or from this company again.

Do not buy from this company

Cheap rubbish and poor customer service..
Bought 3 smoke alarms and 1 heat alarm which have meant to have a battery life of 10 years but they only give you 3 years warranty and just after the 3 years 2 of the smoke alarms would give off a single bleep every morning 30 seconds apart..Contacted the company and they can’t even reply…Do not but from them

Non-existent customer service

Pretty much echoing all the recent reviews. One of the alarms started beeping intermittently after 4 years. Sent them an email, and have had no reply.

Terrible

Terrible! Had to replace 3 alarms in the first 2 years, now another one needs replaced but website says they only replace for the first 3 years so they obviously know how terrible their product is. Shocking for something that cost us £350!!!!

Battery's give out after 3-4 yrs then…

Battery's give out after 3-4 yrs then everyone has the same problems These are not 10yr batterys in them Nothing wrong with the alarms its the batterys. If you can "spot weld" you can change the batterys for decent ones and get them working again. Please note you cannot solder on lithium battery contacts it is very dangerous and could cause them to explode. Only spot weld Not DIY soldering.

Great customer service

Great customer service
Purchased linked alarms in 2021. Last month alarms went off and I traced it to a single faulty smoke alarm. Was finding it difficult to pair the others so contacted customer support for advice. Even although they were out of warranty Claire sent me a replacement unit in the post. (N.B. l eventually found they weren’t pairing due to a low battery in the controller)

Avoid

I thought I'd read the reviews to see if others had experienced the same issues. Bought the alarms in January 2022 when the new regulations were kicking in in Scotland. Mid-March 2025, the beeps began in 2/3 fire alarms, and occasionally in my kitchen smoke alarm. Remarkably, the 10-year alarms started malfunctioning just after the 3-year warranty had expired. I'd be interested to see if others have started to experience these infallible systems malfunctioning to gauge the sample size.

The alarm (?) bells should have rung 3 years ago when the company sent a broken controller with the product.

A 10-year alarm should be guaranteed for its lifetime, especially when the product is designed to protect lives

Alarms have stopped working

Two years after purchasing one alarm started beeping continuously. Contacted the company to advise and they immediately sent out a replacement. The continuous beeping stopped but another alarm stopped working all together. Meanwhile the continuous beeping has started again. I contacted the company but they have not replied. Out if the original 5 purchased I have 2 defunct alarms. I wish I had read reviews before making my purchase. I would imagine I will have to replace the lot. So much for a 10 year battery in each!!
