Lots of fake reviews on here Fio banka is probably one of the better banks with extremely low fees and super easy to navigate, the negative reviews are from people who are trying to do sketchy stuff and scam the bank

This bank has some insane policies. First I asked for a credit card and it approved this and then told me to get an official translation of the credit card contract and provide it to them before issue. I have lived here 20 years, I understand Czech - they refused credit card unless I did this to protect myself?! Utter BS. I already have two credit cards and a mortgage from Raiffeisen - no questions asked and no contacts translated. Furthermore, they blocked my debit card without telling me because they told me I had used it at an untrustworthy vendor - they refused to name the vendor and asked a fee to expedite a replacement. That is not just crap service but lunacy. Im moveing back to Reiffeisen.

They call themselves "modern financial institution" but it is impossible to close an account online.

Although I have been a long time client of Fio Banka, my partner had a very negative experience: this bank does not respect EU regulations.

Fios WiFi is trash they keep on charging us the pay they need to fixed there craps I would not recommend fios any more let goos shut down no point and not worth it they just gonna keep charging you not in the same price their price is a scam as well company need to shut down %100

The interface of the mobile app and web is terrible and there are many hidden costs. It's good that at least they have many branches in Prague where I live.

Beware of this broker. Not only is their web interface outdated, but so are their practices. If you want to withdraw money from a USD account to your account at Fio bank, you have to go and sign papers at their branch. The fees these days are unreasonable, especially for small investors. You pay at least 8 USD for each transaction. If you often find it hard to execute an order, if you enter a price and before you verify the order via SMS or the price just loads, it can change. I strongly do not recommend; it's then annoying to transfer the portfolio elsewhere. Not to mention the exchange rates that Ebroker offers - the "favorable rate" is available only for transfers of 10,000 USD or more.

The customer service is so shytti it hurts. Starting with the UI. You have to message from within the app. Then you get an email as a response. But if you respond to that email, it goes into a void. Like idyots. Then the speed of the resolution is another thing I won't even go into...

I could open an Current account at Fio Banka Slovakia as a foreign, but EU citizen without any issue. There is no issue send debit card to outside of Slovakia, both internet bank and mobile app support English language.

Smartbanking is one of the best on the market. No fees for usual banking activity. Service and communication also with satisfaction.

Fio Bank was great in 2010-2015, but small profit margins meant that customer service began to fail . A recent "Apple-Pay" authorization led to an 800 euro theft from my debit card, which the bank then blamed on me. They do not warn their customers about the risks involved. Fraud should be treated as fraud, and not blamed on the customers. Please consider listening to your customers rather than the vendors offering new platforms for thieves. Thank You. -Tim O.
