Went to Galway and Cliffs of Moher . It was a fantastic tour . Our guide Carol was fantastic and our driver Tomas was great . Everything was perfect and the nature was beautiful .
We had a great tour with Aofe exploring Ireland and will definitly use them again.
hIGHLY RECOMMEND
Amazing experience! I booked two tour one for the cliff of moher and one for the giant's causeway and i loved both!! The guide Peter was fantastic, he told us the story of Ireland and explain everything we were seeing from our windows! He even propose to do a mini guided tour of galway and i appreciated so much. I truly recommend it.
Yesterday took your tour which included a visit to the Titanic exhibit in Belfast.
Jacob and Mostafa were in my opinion the best tour leader and driver I have met over many travel years.
Jacob the most interesting, informative and attentive leader you could meet - Mostafa a great and competent driver during the long 13 hour day.
It was a pleasure to be in their company.

My husband and I took the tour to Cliffs of Moher, Burre and Galway . We thoroughly enjoyed the experience with Noel our guide and Das our bus driver . Noel gave us adequate info abt each spot before we reached there and guided us even where to eat etc . He gave us enough time to enjoy each spot and taught us a few commonly used words like Crack, deadly etc . Das was an excellent driver who was very careful and maintained a steady and comfy speed .
Had an amazing experience with this company on a day trip to cliffs of moher from dublin. Very well organized and great guide.
Had an absolutely amazing tour. We came for a day trip and took the tours vising giants causeway, dark hedges, titanic and some of the game of thrones spots too.
Our tour guide jarred was a star and kept us entertained with fun and information.
Would absolutely recommend!!
My wife (72) and I (70 in a few months), both retirees, were on the Giant's Causeway/etc tour September 28.
First, the weather was unusually nice. The sites we visited were magnificent, especially the Causeway, which was to be one of the highlights of our cruise. Our tour guide was fine and did a good job of pointing out places of interest and historical significance.
That is the last good thing I will say about this tour.
We were assigned to a small bus (tag #G12 SLO). There are only 28 seats on that bus that are fit for humans. We were not in any of them.
Out of what I can only imagine is abject greed, Finn McCool booked 31 passengers. The tour guide and his materials took up two of the seats at the front of the bus, leaving only 26 seats, and a back bench that I believe must have been invented by Torquemada.
Five adult humans, including my wife, me, and another elderly couple, were forced onto this back bench which had NO recline, absolutely no leg room (my knees were jammed against the seat in front of me for over four hours) and our noses were literally six inches from the seats in front (I measured). The five of us sat the entire time shoulder-touching-shoulder, hip-to-hip, and knee-to-knee, with no way at all to make ourselves comfortable. This is completely unacceptable.
We were literally in pain from the moment we sat down until the moment we got off the bus. I have back pain problems already, and spending almost four hours cramped into a space hardly fit for luggage exacerbated them. My wife became claustrophobic, jammed in against the window with the inconsistent cooling. Much of the trip, the temperature was too high for comfort. Many others in the bus complained about it as well, and the driver did adjust it, but by then I was coated in sweat and plagued by muscle cramps in my back.
At the last stop, I stayed on the bus because I was just too exhausted and in too much pain to climb off and climb back in one more time. I had the opportunity while the other passengers disembarked to try one of the human-sized regular seats. It would have been entirely satisfactory, but I never had a chance to find out. If my wife and I had been able to access the regular seats, the excursion would have been as thrilling as we had anticipated.
My wife and I told the tour guide that the bench seat at the back was intolerable. He and the driver tried it out and agreed, but there was nothing to do about it. We were already stuck on this bus for the entire painful, excruciating trip, with no avenue for relief.
To say this ruined our experience would be an understatement. This was one of our most-anticipated excursions on this trip, and rather than being able to enjoy it, I spent the entire time in agony.
Under no circumstances whatsoever should this trip have allowed more than 26 passengers to register. We arrived at the bus 25 minutes before departure, and the real seats were already full, so we had no choice but to squeeze and fold ourselves into the steerage bench at the back, along with three other hapless victims.
This experience was a massive disappointment. The operator's obvious obsessive greed completely ruined what should have been an inspirational tour of a majestic natural wonder.
I will NEVER take another Finn McCool Tour again, under any imaginable circumstance, and I hope someday, in the fullness of time, when the operators are senior citizens, they will experience a day as painful and disappointing as ours was today, only twice as long.
This was a very disappointing experience. The timing of the stops was inefficient in some areas and too long in others
The guide made racist comments and was hostile towards some guests in front of the entire bus because they wrote a note to him to stop doing impersonations. He was u professional and frankly ruined the experience. I would never book with them nor would I hope anyone else does either.

Wow what a great tour!
After reading multiple tour reviews we decided to go with Finn McCools Tours and very happy we did. There were no issues at all!
Picked us up in the morning and all ready to go on our trip. As it was off peak the coach wasn't full so plenty of room to spread out. The coach (driven by the exceptional sharp corner/tight bend made easy Fred) was clean and very comfortable. It's a fairly quiet coach and modern with USB sockets available to charge your devices. Individual air vents and lights are available and all seats recline and are comfy for a sleep. Toilet on board and rubbish bins available. Overall seating position is great and enough room for legs to be stretched out (I'm 5ft 10). Also a nice touch was during the non tour guide talking sessions low volume of classical music was played and this was relaxing. Nothing worse going on a tour and they play intermittent radio of pop or rock as it doesn't help you relax and enjoy the sites so good choice.
Our tour guide was Mark and he kept us all entertained with knowledge of each stop, general background in Ireland and the history of the country as well as ROI/Belfast. Throughout Mark kept us up to date with stops and return times/locations and we knew to find the right bus from his Ninja Turtle backpack in the window "Turtle Power!!"
We didn't have the best of weather but as I had my waterproof coat etc I was fine! We had a lot of rain, severe wind (at the Giants Causeway) and it was cold but it was still a great tour.
The Giants Causeway is amazing. There are various routes to explore, easy/medium/hard and the best views are from the top (which is the red/hard route) but it isn't major uphill walking just need to take your time and pace yourself. To get down to the lower levels there are some very steep steps so take this into consideration if you go on the red route, it can be Slippy on the steps and there are a lot of them. WEAR APPROPRIATE FOOTWEAR with good grip. Once you get to the amazing rocks they look out of place and are super cool at the same time. You do have to be super careful here as the winds are strong and the waves crash behind you and the rocks are SLIPPERY big time, I did slip but caught my balance otherwise I would be over on to the rocks. Do take a lot of care here and if you feel unsafe don't push yourself!
There is a local bar near the car park, Diet Pepsi in bottle was EURO3.50 (yes Ireland can be expensive).
Dunluce Castle was a bit of a ruin but if you are a Game Of Thrones fan you can see where they used the existing castle and then a lot of CGI thrown in.
Dark Hedges is amazing. It's a walk from the car park and then POW there you are. Again Game Of Thrones fans will love this. Get some really good pictures here, always better to wait until people are not in your camera view but depends how busy it is as may not always be possible. The gift shop here is great as there are some cool merch to purchase, namely the Dark Hedges coffee mug (get a free coffee with it) as where else will you get to buy one of these? Envy of a lot of Game of Thrones fans you will be in the office! lol.
On to Belfast. About 2 hour visit here and it's enough for a quick tour around the heart of ROI. For me personally I felt Dublin was nicer but I need to go back to ROI and explore a bit more for a few days.
I was initially cautious on the times available at each stop but it is actually just right to spend time seeing the sights and moving on. Belfast was a taster so I would say it's worth going back there in the future to explore it for a couple of days.
Great tour, would definitely recommend and both Fred and Mark were ace.
You can purchase food at the various stops but worth having food/drink with you on the coach journey.
My daughter and I went on a full day trip to the Cliffs of Moher, Galway and Burren. Highly recommened🤩 Our guide Ryan made the trip extraordinary, so serviceminded, witty and full of knowledge, we learned so much🙏 The information upfront was also very good. Thank you for giving us such a memorable day🙏🙏🤩🤩
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY TO DO ANY TOURS IN IRELAND, UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE BULLIED AND VERBALLY ABUSED!
During my recent trip to Ireland, I decided to book two tours with Finn McCools. Unfortunately, my two sons fell ill with gastroenteritis the evening before the first tour. I immediately contacted Finn McCools to notify the tour guide about their condition and inability to endure an 8-hour bus tour. I asked for a refund or a credit for future tours and was told if they could resell my seats they would refund me.
On the 2nd tour, when I explained the situation to Wayne, one of the managers, he cited GetYourGuide's refund policy and said that he would not issue a refund because the cancellation was less than 24 hours before the tour was scheduled. I told him other tour companies had offered credits if the cancellation was less than 24 hours later; some were even nice enough to offer the full refund. Wayne kept insisting there was nothing they could do to help and I told him that was fine, I would just leave a review letting others know of their unwillingness to provide good customer service.
Wayne stated he would call his boss, Willem. As my sons and I headed to the bus to locate our seats, Willem demanded that we step off the bus immediately. I stated that I paid for the tour, but Willem continued to shout at me and my sons in front of the other passengers. Willem's aggressive behavior and verbal abuse left my sons and me feeling unsafe, embarrassed, and scared. When he continued to shout at us that we were not allowed on the tour, I asked Willem to specify why and was told that we needed a doctor's note affirming that we were in healthy condition in order to continue. When I agreed to provide him with a doctor's note, he explained that the note had to be issued by his doctor in Ireland. He then told us to leave the bus and threatened to call the Irish Guards. It is interesting how Finn McCools came up with this "rule" to require an Irish doctor's note for my family only when I mentioned a bad review. Actually, after speaking with some of the guards on O'Connell street, we were told it was ridiculous for them to demand a note to begin with!
The whole experience was truly traumatizing and demoralizing. Never in my over 25 years of travelling all over the world have I ever been treated with such contempt and I am honestly mortified that Willem and his company can stay in business. There are many good tour companies in Ireland, STAY AWAY FROM FINN McCOOLS!
