My experience with this finance company started on a promising note. James and Liz initially came across as professional and capable — exactly what you'd expect from a reputable service provider.
However, midway through the process, things took a sharp turn. I received a call from James regarding a document, and instead of a routine discussion, I was met with aggressive and abusive language. He swore at me, called me names, and made demeaning remarks such as “Don’t be emotional,” “Don’t be a princess,” and “Don’t be a dic*****.” I was stunned by the level of unprofessionalism and lack of basic respect.
When I asked to cancel the application because of his unacceptable behaviour, he continued to be dismissive and rude. Liz eventually followed up and finalised the application, as it was already near completion with the lender — but by then, the damage was done, and without so much as an apology from either of them.
Also worth mentioning — this was my first time dealing with a broker. When I asked how they charge for their service, I was told they receive a commission from the lender. Only later did I discover that their commission had been added on top of the loan amount I requested, which felt misleading and dishonest.
In all my years, I have never encountered such disrespectful conduct in a professional setting. Everyone deserves to be treated with courtesy and transparency — especially when making important financial decisions. There are plenty of other finance brokers out there who operate with integrity and respect. I strongly recommend looking elsewhere.
