Lack of authenticity and poor transparency – not recommended

I purchased a Rolex Datejust 41 from this dealer, which was listed on Chrono24 as “Chrono24 Certified” authentic. To my great disappointment, I do not believe the watch was genuine – even after reviewing the photos I took when I received it. An authorized Rolex dealership confirmed that the watch is either fake or has had the crystal replaced with a non-original part.

The dealer was very quick to respond while I was considering the purchase, but as soon as I received the watch and the problem arose, they stopped responding. I had to involve Chrono24 to get any replies from them.

There was no mention in the listing that any components might be non-original. Furthermore, I have since seen the exact same watch listed on Chrono24 again, without any disclosure – highlighting the lack of transparency.

Although I was eventually able to arrange a return and full refund through Chrono24, the process was stressful and time-consuming – not what one expects when purchasing a watch at this price point.

I strongly advise others not to buy from this dealer.

Their website is easy to navigate and the pictures are clear (and judging from the watch I bought - the pictures are accurate).

Their prices are very fair.

L Filipucci was quick to reply to my emails and very patient with me (I had a lot of questions).

The process of buying the watch was straight forward; one of the best parts was the delivery. The watch arrived, well packaged, the next day! From the Netherlands to the UK!

In summary, I am a very pleased customer and feel assured that should I have any problems - L Filipucci would work with me to resolve them.

I bought a Blanc Pain fifty Fathoms watch with Filipucci Juweliers.

First off, I thought that they were professional and the watch did not have a scratch - I was amazed! but after receiving my watch and the fact that the dial broke off after 2 months, I was very sadened about the way they run their business.

I asked them before buying the watch if the watch was serviced and they said yes! But 2 months after receiving the watch the dial broke off and they told med to send the watch back to them.

What then happened was that they took it to their watchmaker and sent me an email stating that the repair and service would be Euro 700,-. and that the dial feet were broken indicating a strong impact?

Their 6 months warranty apparently did not cover this damage.

Whilst in my care no such impact happende and I told L. Filipucci accordingly. (also the guy that owns the shop always writes L. Filipucci in every mail and not his full name - I can not find his full name anywhere? Who does that unless they are hiding something?)

I was very disappointed with the way I was treated by Filipucci Juweliers and I asked them to send me the watch back. What I have done now is to send it to Blanc Pain's watchmakers in Switzerland who will service and repair the damage. But now I at least know that:

1. The watch is definitely Authentic
(as I was afraid it was fake due to the dial feet breaking off suddenly)

2. The repair has been made Blanc Pain watchmakers and everything is up to standard.

3. The cost is euro 1.400,- for service and repair with Blanc Pain but well worth it.

I found the service of Filipucci Juweliers very bad in general but I must give them that the did not invoice me 2 courier expenses.

Because of this I give them 1 star but do not recommend you to buy from them.
