Used Filipino cupid a number of years ok and it was good, after returning now 98% of received contacts are scammers, sex cam workers, prostitutes... keep your money guys and find a different site.

Very High Number of Suspicious Profiles – Proceed With Caution

In my personal experience using Filipino Cupid, I encountered a very high number of profiles that appeared suspicious or potentially fraudulent.

Common patterns I noticed included:
• Immediate emotional escalation (talk of marriage or long-term commitment within the first few messages)
• Requests to move conversations off-platform to WhatsApp very quickly
• Generic scripted responses that did not address specific questions
• Repeated storylines involving deceased partners, overseas work, or gold/diamond businesses

While I’m sure there are genuine users on the platform, the volume of profiles displaying these patterns made it difficult to build trust or feel confident using the service.

I would strongly recommend that new users proceed cautiously, avoid moving conversations off-platform too quickly, and never send money or personal financial information.

This review reflects my personal experience and observations.

I would estimate that at least 95% of profiles on this Dating site are either, Fake, Scammers, or Selling sexual services. Absolutely filthy, disgusting site, and I am so angry at the admin on FilipinoCupid, as their replies to my complaints are Cookie Cutter, one size fits all automated responses. I asked for a refund, which took them over 72 hours to reply to, and they said I was still using their site, so they won’t offer a refund . I explained that I was replying to profiles that contained inappropriate content, by blocking and reporting them to Filipino Cupid admin. In other words, I was doing all the heavy lifting that should have been their job ! I became an unpaid member of their workforce, doing their job, which is ironic, as one of the admins replied, that Filipino Cupid, uses world class technology to stop scammers and fake profiles ! Please guys , do not waste any of your hard earned money on this useless, disgusting site.

I logged onto this site following problems on other sites,I spoke to one member on the site who gave my number to someone who video called me,he asked me to provide a 'like' for his website and when I refused he verbally abused me.
Filipno Cupid said they had removed the member from their site and I asked for my years payment of over £200 back which they refused to refund because they had removed the member,I am now left with a subscription for a year that I do not intend to use!

Only one in five hundred profiles are actually real Philippino ladies the rest are all scammers be very careful not to go to all the sites other woman ask you to go to , whattsapp is okay but DO NOT SEND MONEY !!! ALL CUPID SITES ARE NOW TERRIBLE SCAMS !!!!

Don't bother with this site or any site owned and run by this group (i.e. asiandating.com). It is just a playground for scammers that admin do NOTHING about. If they do have genuine photos they will ask you for money. There are much much better options.

I pay subscription over 2 years now its auto renwed i claim refund i 5 day but this app didn't refund me. They just send me an e mail with refund recived 0:00... So i guess this app is fraud for all mens.. Keep away

I spent on FilipinoCupid about three months when I paid a platinum or gold membership so I could communicate with all the members there. I paid three times one month, one payment in spring 2025, the second in summer 2025 and the third in winter. You receive many "hi" messages especially from women from Hong-Kong, Singapore who also live there or often they say they live in the UK. Most of them also have a blank profile so you can guess they are scammer. Still, I tried to communicate with them to know how it works. Almost all of them are interested in various investments using internet, they also talk with you about other things, send pictures of meals, usually luxurious, some of them are willing to video call with you so you can think they are real. In spite of that, they never talk with you about anything that has a connection to finding a life partner even if they say in the beginning that they do. Usually, they ask for WhatApp immediately, you should ignore them.

Then, of course there are especially Filipinas. Some of them seems to be scammers as well, even if they filled up their profile properly, sometimes happen that they ask you for money to help with their difficult situation, there are also some women who offer online sexual services.

In the end, there are also real women who are sincerely looking for a serious relationship. In every of the three months, I met a couple of them, maybe during one month, you are able to get to know about three to five serious women. I really met in person with some of them and have good experiences even if I didn't find the right one for me. Anyway, it pays off to try the site if you are looking for a Filipina woman.

Again, be aware of women from Hong-Kong, China, UK and the USA, they are weird and even if they don't ask for money neither offer investments, they don't seem to be interested in a relationship. You waste your time with them.

It seems to be better when you wait for a message from a woman rather than to read and write messages to them because you won't receive answer in many cases. Anyway, I experinced some women I write them first and they were interested to get to know me and they were real.

You should log in very often so you are more visible for the others, however, you mostly get the "hi" messages from scammers after log in.

Generally, on FilipinoCupid, there is a problem with scammers and the site should strive for verification of all the members there. In such a case, it would be a good place for finding the right one.

Last thing, be very careful if you pay for a membership and it expires already. In this case, after login, you get an offer that you can renew your last membership with just one click because the system remembers your card. Of course the button for renewal is good visible and the button for declining is harder to see. If you are not careful, you accidentally renew your membership again!

Absolutely disaster and scam site. Most of the profiles which want to communicate with you are fake showing pictures of white gals from the United States. These profiles aren’t real. The site has no customer service phone number and written complaints fall on deaf ears. Stay away from this site. It used to be decent but has turned into a ripoff garbage site.

This site is full of nothing but scammers and bots. Even as a paid member you are bombarded with the most obvious fake profiles and the site does nothing to regulate it.

Absolutely unusable

The site is a joke and allows scammers with multiple profiles onto the site. Half of the photos of women are either porn stars or fake. Really?? You can figure out that the same pics are used on multiple accounts. Are you F^%cking kidding me?
Scammers all over the site..

90% of anyone attractive on this site is either a scam or photo shopped picture be extremely careful and never send money or believe that the person is who you think they are unless you are face to facing with them over time or meet them in person. Many on this site are professional scammers fleecing innocent venerable people so don't become one of them.

I saw "thousands of active singles" in my area and decided to sign up for a one-month Gold membership on FilipinoCupid. Twelve generic match requests were received right away, all of which came from profiles that had stolen photos (a reverse image search verified this). After I upgraded, responses disappeared when I attempted to message actual members. They charged me an additional $59.99 even though I cancelled before renewal.

This company allows scammer son their site they also have the shittiest customer service imaginablgot a member ship for some reason they allowed me to use service for. Few hours then they say they refunded payment ( no trace of refund ) due to suspicious transaction without notification now I cannot use service

I signed up for a gold membership. Upgraded to a platinum. They deny receiving the payment for the platinum. They keep my profile status at gold. Had to file a complaint to get a refund.

The site is filled with fake profiles! Ai generated messages to your inbox. The site has become absolute garbage!

The company could improve by being audited by a government agency, that would be a good start.

Site is supposed to be for the Philippines, but is full of woofers from other countries. My account was suspended tonight, not sure why, but I think it was for posting a true comment. They allow the women to keep on scamming, you will be asked for money for every conceivable reason, pretty sure that the site must be in on this too.

Really, really not worth your money guys, trust me, you will find a better class of woman just in your travels around the Philippines.

I would give this site zero stars if I could. Save your money boys. I had an idea to create a site and post photos of all of the scammers. 173 so far by my count.

Total waste of time . Full of Fakes,Scammers and low lifes.

Admin does nothing to improve , did not even remove ANY OF the Fakes/ Scams I reported, so I am guessing they are likely behind a good number of them.
