Huge Let down

2/15/25 FileFactory sent me an email explaining they had trouble with the payment system they use. I was offered a discount on my renewal. No mention on the lost files I cannot replace that were deleted early. I would go up one star, but I no longer trust this site for important file storage.

I started using FileFactory several years ago. I usually purchase my premium membership the month it is due. I decided to renew in December since they were having a sale. My payment would not go through. Not declined, card verification failed. I did turn in a ticket to support. I didn't worry to much about it. My premium account wasn't due until January. I tried to pay when the payment was due. Same thing. I followed every troubleshooting tip I could find, used different cards, and wrote to customer service. Nothing, no return e-mail, except saying they would get to my ticket soon. Today I checked and all of my files have been deleted. I lost files that cannot be replaced. Many photo backups that the originals are now gone. And my 30 days grace period still has 11 days on it. I don't know what happened with this company, but they went from being awesome to below one star. It sux.

Impossible to go Premium

I signed up for the site (easy enough) then tried to go Premium.
The site asked me to wait while I was transferred to PayPal, even had a link to click if I felt that I was waiting too long. At the top of the Premium purchase page was an announcement asking users not to open a dispute with PayPal, which did not fill me with confidence.
The link to PayPal froze at around 99.4%. I got fed up of waiting and deleted my account.
Reading TrustPilot reviews I do not believe that Customer Service would have been able to resolve this in any decent timespan.

Couldn't renew for 2 months, my files are gone, but FF is back...

I've (U.S.A.) been a premium subscriber and fan of Filefactory for ten years, renewing my yearly plan around Black Friday every year with great promo deals. This time around every attempt to pay has failed. PayPal, Visa, MC all won't go thru. Got thru to support early December and "Andy" apologized, admitting they didn't have a reliable payment provider. Promised they'd have it sorted by 2025 and asked me to keep trying. I kept trying all thru December and to this day but every link, every option I try fails. FF automatically took my files offline before Christmas, and I have gotten no more responses to my continued messages.
It's not looking good.

31January2025:
Today I see a change in the payment section. Where for the last couple months there were four credit card options, now when I go to purchase Premium there are only two - Visa and MC.
On the info page it now says the "transaction will appear on your statement as "UNIVERSAL GAMING"" where until now it was F FACTORY DIGITAL or FACTORY SERVICES. I think I'll wait a couple days before throwing any money at it. None of my chat messages or emails have gotten a response since December, but maybe they will be making some sort of announcement.
Website artwork and fonts look a little different now too.

03Feb2025:
After watching the website change a little at a time over the course of a few days, my many, many chat messages and emails have finally gotten a response from Andy. It seems FF is back, with the ability to take our money for Premium status once again. It was 2 long months of continually trying and they've fixed their issues.

This company is dishonest

This company is dishonest. I had been with FileFactory since it was formed in Australia. It was fantastic. It has passed through several hands. The last owners do pay their associates! I have left after 23 years. Beware! They never paid me but lost thousands of my files. I was an associate and they always paid late or not at all.

July/24 - DELETED 10 YEARS of files when I still had 4 months of premium service left.

July/24 - I'd been with File Factory for years. No problems. Prompt responses, if a link was broken - fixed within 24 hours, sometimes far less. Last month I checked in - 10 years of files all deleted.. Didn't respond to email.. Finally got 'Fin' the AI chatbot, which was really a human. I've been buying premium service for years. In 12/23 I bought a year premium service. Fin tells me my account was deleted 11/23 - one month before I purchased another year. My previous 2 year premium had not run out yet. Fin rattled on, apologized and then asked me if I could upload files. Fin was not a chatbot,

Yes they were a great company - just another rip off company now stealing your money. They are located on the other side of the planet. Don't see much that I can do except complain to appropriate agencies. Andy Wongs name is still affiliated with it.. We used to email each other with minor problems - no response from him.. Don't even know if he is there now. STAY AWAY FROM FILE FACTORY

Long time happy member

I've been a member of FileFactory for years. I started when I lived abroad and the ONLY source for what was needed, was FileFactory.

I haven't owned a tv for 13 years and do everything on a computer and FileFactory has been there for me ever since.

No b.s., no useless ad contact, no e-mail spam. just a link-providing service that...provides links.

Anything that may cause me to cease using FileFactory is ONLY "that" thing but not FileFactory.

I tried many - still have a couple others who then "link" to File Factory offerings and all's well.

Thanks FileFactory...the last decade would have been miserable without your operation.

3 lifetime accounts .. and ignored !!!

3 lifetime accounts ..
Was good .. now AVOID it ..
Refuse to payout funds that have been pending for more than ONE YEAR ..
Numerous emails ignored.
Policy changed to state about number of uploads per period to qualify.
I upload something each week to at least one of my accounts which are nearly full.
I bring in thousands of people for downloads.
Used to be good.
Now .. they couldn’t give a damn about me now they have had my money !!!!!!!!!!

UPDATE .. 3rd June 2024 ..
Asked for more details.
I sent pictures to FileFactory and details .. again ..
Received a reply within MINUTES ??!!
They said ..
““Hi there, apologies for the confusion... I thought this was already paid. I'll check it out!

After the initial response I posted above from FileFactory they have made No contact or PAYMENT.
Further emails to them have still been ignored..

Still no acknowledgement of this outstanding payment.
Have $100 plus in another account waiting to be requested ..

Filefactory hasn't paid me in 4 months.

I share Upscales on Planetsuzy. Have been doing this for 2 years. my first year i got paid out $112. This year filefactory has refused to pay me. it's been 4 months and payments are stuck on pending, I'm not the only one experiencing this. I honestly don't mind since it's only $130 and i can make that in 2 hours at my job, but they should pay what i'm owed. If you want to make any sort of money monetizing your downloads, Do not use Filefactory.

Why the Screaming Promo Splashes?

**The 1 star is only referring the FF promo ads and I've emailed Andy with my concerns today, Mon 4 Mar '24**

Have been with FF over 10 years, bought the lifetime subscription on 12 Feb '24. Since then FileFactory Splashes their Promo sales ads which takes up the whole of the screen with every refresh & page change.

Why is one subject to this?

Is Andy still with FF? He would send out emails letting one know of special offers and when there were queries to be answered he was right back to you.

Filefactory is starting to suspend or delete accounts, Not only me but others complaining about this issue . It seems filefactory is shutting down their platform otherwise there is no excuse for this actions.

Lost more than 1000 USD in filefactory

I lost More Than 1000 USD which I earned as a uploader but filefactory refused to pay. They do same with others, deleting account and not responding to tickets.

Filefactory' support based on A.I chat which means no real person there and there will be no support by real human. It can't provide direct contact with real person as A.I chat said to me.
