Terrible COMPANY

Terrible COMPANY. They took my deposit and cancelled the job and won’t give me my deposit if $963 back. When you call they give you the run around! Don’t do it! This company shouldn’t be in existence! My sister died and I told them that’s why I needed their services and they still ripped me off

Fidelity came and loaded half of my…

Fidelity came and loaded half of my house on a Ryder rental truck and then told me they needed more money or they would take my stuff and sell everything, cane you spell EXTORTION! These people are Criminals make no mistake. Now my move is on hold and they caused me more damage from lost earnings and hotel fees. The sad part is my wife is disabled and they took all of her cripple tools and chairs.
Don’t trust these criminals with your move.!!!!!!!

Don't make the mistake I did, avoid Fidelity

As bad as it can get! Failed to pick up on schedule day (no call, no show) and then failed again on the backup date (no show, no call again). Asked for deposit back...they have yet responded. Contacted BBB, they took it to Fidelity...but Fidelity did not respond.

Do not use if moving from California

This company seems to have good reviews on the east coast, but I would not recommend them if moving to anywhere from California. Also, be aware from the beginning that Fidelity is a broker and you will be dealing with several sub-contractors after they set you up and get your initial payment. On June 5th, I was informed that the movers would not be coming because their truck broke down, so they would have to come the next day. They gave me a window of 11am-1pm. At 3pm, I texted and asked when they would be coming. They finally showed up at 5:30 pm, in a Uhaul truck, which made me uneasy. It was totally chaotic - Armin started the inventory and claimed I had more stuff (I might have had a couple more boxes, but the furniture was right on), so he re-worked my estimate for several hundred dollars (nearly $1,000) more than the original. I could not afford it, so I started taking things off. And there was a woman with them named Hannah who was frenetic, excitedly talking non-stop, marking my boxes...she bought a beautiful piece of furniture in perfect condition from me (that I had to take off original inventory because of the expense), then tried to drag it out of the house by herself, breaking one of the legs. After the truck was loaded, Armin presented me with an inventory, written on a piece of paper torn out of a notebook, which I had to sign(after which my original contract disappeared from the system-luckily I had saved it for comparison). I looked at the way my things were loaded in the truck and was very distressed, but decided to just pray it would all turn out alright. After 6 weeks of anxiety, many unanswered phone calls and messages, and finally threatening to report my property to the Pasadena Police Department as stolen, it was finally delivered on July 16th. Let me reiterate, it was picked up in Pasadena on June 6th. There was a very nice women named Barbara who is their main customer service person and I spoke to her about 3or4 times during the 6 week period (the last two after my threat), but she could never tell me where my stuff was or give me an anticipated date of when I would get it. I was only told, "The next time they have another load going to Colorado". This is unacceptable as a practice. So, besides Barbara, the only bright lights in this entire experience were Christian and his brother (Efraim?) who finally delivered my belongings. They had truck problems, too, and we lost some communication (not their fault), but were very sweet and did a terrific job once they finally got to our house and unloaded. It should be mentioned that there were also items marked for me that were not mine on the truck (I hope they found the owner) and that two of my items were significantly damaged, even though I was promised everything would be wrapped in blankets or bubble wrap. They do not have the supplies necessary to do that, so make sure all your furniture is protected before you send it out with them. Michael's (the broker) last words to me when I committed were, "We're going to take good care of you...". That did not end up being my experience, unfortunately. I'm being generous with two stars, really.

Great Service

Great Service! My original mover didn’t show up on our scheduled move date. Leaving me in between a rock and and hard place.. not knowing what to do and having to be out. I did a quick google search and found Fidelity! I made a last minute reservation and everything went perfectly. I wish I would have found them the first time around!! Now I have to go try to get my deposit back from the other company 🤬. Do yourself a favor...go with Fidelity!!

I was a little weary getting on the…

I was a little weary getting on the phone to use a moving company but they made me feel really comfortable any questions that I had they answered promptly. Everything was explained and they are transparent ! If you are looking to move you have to use these guys !!!

Very pleased with the way everything…

Very pleased with the way everything went from booking all the way to delivery and everything in between. The salesperson who booked my job was very thorough, detailed, and did not mislead me on anything. The crew who showed up to my home was outstanding. They worked their tails off and I was so impressed with how careful they were with everything. If I ever move again, I will be calling them back.

Pain free!

Thanks to Fidelity moving was a breeze! Fidelity Van Lines went above and beyond to not only meet but exceed my expectations. All my belongings were safely and professionally packed and carried from where I was living to my new home. The process was entirely painless, which gave me time to handle everything else I have going on in my life. Highly recommend for anyone in the moving market.
